This place is one of the best breweries in indiana. We have been to so many locations but Nailers has a drink for everyone! When the first started it was beer only, they now are a distillery with awesome drinks! Beer wise my go to is the IPA's and also the blueberry beer. I have brought so many friends who are non beer fans and they do a tasting and fall in love. The staff here is fantastic. Distillery wise, everything is great! I am so glad to be part of their ambassador program, I always try to get my friends to come sit down for a drink and some food. Now food.. the best time of the month is Prime Rib Days! I really admired the adventurous spirit at Nailers Brewery. By the looks of their menu, it sounds like Nailers is always trying something new and never keeping the status quo. The location seemed to be out in the boonies a bit (I'm not familiar with the area, were just meeting up with a friend who lives in the area). The interior had a pleasant aesthetic and the staff was super friendly and eager to explain the menu and talk about some of their latest adventures in brewing. I wasn't a huge fan of some of the branding. The puns (on clothing and such) associated with the name felt a little low-brow for the quality of product they're creating. My favorite thing about Nailers was definitely the jalapeño infused beer. I only had a taste of it, but definitely wished that I had ordered one of them- it was delicious (and the perfect amount of spicy). The space is tucked away in a strip mall (and seemed to be surrounded by cornfields), so I think it could be easy to miss. But if you're looking for a good beer, it's definitely worth the stop. read more

My husband and I have ate at Nailers 3x. yet we were shocked as we were listening to hear the owner say he wasn't in business to sell food. He only has enough food to do the state min. We just felt it was rude to be telling people this as we came to your business to eat. Then the waitress (bartender) was making fun of people for wanting water. They won't serve you water. You have to get your own. She clearly stated they are there to sell their beer. If she had it her way she take all the tables out and put couches in and you come to her. Basically, as we say at a table that is what we had to do to get service! We asked for our bill, the waitress ignored it and when I got up to go to the bar the owner acted like it was no big deal I had been waiting on my bill to pay. He was rude to us with comments. After over an hour people that came in well after we did were finishing their meal and she still had not taken our food order. A larger table that came in well after us got their order and she continued to walk past us when there were only two tables including us. My fiancé and I have past this place on the highway several times and finally decided to try it out. The outside presence was very welcoming for a brewery. Comfortable seating options with cornhole available, who doesn't like cornhole and drinking beer?! Inside was very clean and well presented with the appropriate amount of lighting. Noise was low which was nice. This place sends a very much a "regulars" type of vibe, which is nice for those looking to make a brewery their home feeling. I tried the Nailers DIPA, which was very well brewed although not my preference. Prices were fairly good considering this is in-house brewing. There is a great new brewery that opened on South US31 along the Greenwood/Whiteland boundaries. Though the address is 6001 N, the actual location is in the 6800 block just south of Pushville Road (CR700N) in the South Greenwood Shoppes. Since the brewery just opened in early May '18, I was surprised at the number of brews they had on hand (around a dozen). All the batches are small, so there is a lot of turnover on the listing blackboard (two of those listed were out, but another two were ready to take their place!) The name of the brewery and some of the ales can be tied to the owners experience with the construction industry. I decided to go with a pilsner (GFI 5.3%, 22 IBU), a coffee flavored stout (Sledge Hammer 4.5%, 25), a Session (6%, 25) and a Peanut Butter Stout (5.7%, 24) as a flight of five ounce drinks. The flights can be up to six selections and pricing is affected by the type of beer selected and the quantity of choices you make. My four were $7.25. I thought most of the beers had good flavor with the exception of the GFI which was a little weak....probably because my tastes are changing as I move towards stouts, sours, and IPA's. It wasn't bad, just not what I would order next time. At the time of my visit, there was a menu of grilled cheese, a panini, and flatbreads. There are also salads, soups, and some dips and charcuterie. Those foods are available for dinner around 6 or so until the chef goes home for the evening. When that happens, there is a limited "after hours" menu that has some chips and salsa/dip, pizzas, hot dogs, and pretzels. The bartender and the owner were both accommodating and easy to talk to. They have obvious passion for making their business take off and hope they can build a strong business. Adding local musicians is already in the works for entertainment. As the business grows, there is hope to add a lunch menu with new hours as soon as they can get the right staff hired. Plans for expanding to add a distillery next door are also in the works. This place has great beer ! I had the tangerine and my husband had the jalapeño pils. Both were delicious. My husband judges a restaurant by their tenderloin and this one did not disappoint. It was twice the size of the bun, thick, served dressed on a fluffy bun. He also had the sweet potato fries with carmel sauce which were pretty tasty. I ordered the fish sandwich with fries, but got chips instead. No biggie, they were busy. We got there at 7:30pm and were hoping to try the Friday nite Prime Rib special, but alas we just missed out on their very popular special. We were envious when the neighboring table received theirs. It was a giant serving with salad and baked potato. It's a little confusing because there is no table service. You need to place your order at the bar, but the waitress brings it out to you. We spoke to one of the owners who said they will be brewing spirits and working up a new menu soon. Great news! Hoping they add a few healthy options to choose from too. Very surprised with this place. The food that I had was amazing. I had the grilled cheese and was amazing. It had cheese, bacon and what I thought was a type of bacon jam. The beers were very good. I ordered a flight of five beers. Included were jalapeño infused Pilsner, coffee infused Pilsner, blue berry beer, peanut butter stout And cinnamon roll beer. The jalapeño was the best of all. With the infusion you get a little of the heat and all the flavor. This is a place I will be going back. read more

I was lucky enough to have gone to this place to pick up my parents because my parents spent all day here drinking due to the great beer and tequila lol. The owners are very involved, hardworking, caring, and do an outstanding job of keeping things sanitized and clean! They were so caring that they gave my parents some homemade pizza for free. It was super good. I decided to eat here while I was picking them up and I had the tenderloin which was really good! If you've never been here, your definitely missing out on the great people that own and run it! They also have a lot of different hot sauces that might be too hot! Nailers was busy with a couple of holiday parties, but they could not keep up with the clientele at the bar. We had one drink, no food, and no one came by to see if we needed anything else. This was our second trip to Nailers and both times the service was subpar. My husband asked for chips or something to tide us over until our meal came and the server would not bring us anything because she did not know how to enter it into the computer to charge us. We saw it was busy when we arrived, but the server assured us she would check in with us often. She did not. At one point all three servers were working with a computer or iPad. My sister-in-law ordered the prime rib there, which was great, but asked what the "shareable" was. The newer waitress didn't know so they ordered the regular one but she was aware they my sister-in-law and her husband were sharing it. The "shareable" is what they do when you want to share one of the prime ribs and they charge you an extra $15 for an extra baked potato and small side salad. When delivered by the older blonde waitress there (i'm assuming the owner's spouse) became confrontational about them sharing it. It was to the point that she said she was "educating us" about next time. There won't be a next time for us.... Second week in a row we decided to try nailers for our Friday evening dinner. Last week would have garnered a 3-star rating the food while adequate was cold and not the most appealing fair. They were extremely busy and very much understaffed. However given the circumstances we were hoping that we just caught them on an off night. Last night February 28th was abysmal! The prime rib while hot lost its appeal because of the fattiness not marbling of the prime rib. The prime rib while an ample cut was not up to any standard to which I have become accustomed. Contrary to what the owner tried to tell me I had had prime rib before and did not consider that marbling. The tale was 100% fat rendering the entire cut unappetizing. When our party of six complain we were met with disdain and contempt from the owner and we're belittled for our take on the meal. We will not be returning after having our value as customers so completely devalued. While two of our party return returned they're meal untouched there was no discount offered. Which to me was very insulting as we were considered to be unaware of what a prime rib should look like. Not only were the Mills staggered in their delivery we were unable to eat together. When a complaint was registered regarding one of the early meal. The owner added insult to injury by bringing out the last cut that was the least appealing and 50% fat. To make a long story short we paid our bill we drank several beverages left a decent tip for the scant and overworked staff. And will be voting with our wallets to never return and hope to save others the same fate! The beers are fair nothing exceptional but for the most part are palpable. Chalk it up to a lesson in life! Take my advice! Go to Texas Roadhouse or any other box store food will be better generally speaking the management much more professional and much less passive aggressive.
