    After Nachos

Finally got the opportunity to try out this place. The food is sorta like taco truck vibes in a very good way. I had a half nacho, my friends had tacos and burritos. All were very very good. They have many different draft options, I recommend the Pachanga beer.

A wide selection of beers available and large tap room. Also tons of guest beers and lots of beers to take from cans to tall boys to growlers. The service was right on par and friendly. The place is huge, lots of seating and space.

We stopped at Sun King Brewery before dinner, and this place is so cool! One of the best parts is the large parking lot, which is free to park in-- a great perk compared to many spots in downtown Indy that require you to pay a parking meter. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who offer the choice of sitting at the bar or at a table with service. We chose to sit at a table with service. We tried a few different beers, but my favorite was the Sunlight Cream Ale. If you are in the area, this is a must-stop spot!

Where are my Cold Brew Coffee Drinkers??? This is soooooo good?! Typically a stout is Heavy & so filling & I can't drink it. This is much lighter & smooth. Almost like drinking a nitro cold brew from your local coffee shop- without the nitro & adding some beer! Service is always great here . You can bring your kids, grab a snack (nachos are good) and just hang out. This time I opted just for some beer. Lots of specials- I love the growler specials on fridays! Come check them out!

This is where Sun King started right off of N. College Avenue. Sun King is everywhere now and that's a good thing. The inside is as you would think. A brewery actively making more and more cans. They have six locations in Indiana and one in Sarasota, Florida. I've tried the pineapple and strawberry Pachanagrita's those are great! I'm so glad they have Nacho by La Margarita! Oh my those nachos are delicious. A fresh sheet pan made to order of either chicken, chorizo, or black bean salsa nachos. They use a Sunlight Cream Ale Queso on them. They also collect pop, beer, and water tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities. So, instead of throwing them away save them and bring them in. A pachanagrita and nachos is on the horizon!

The GFJ/ Grapefruit Jungle IPA which Steve and I found to be refreshing!

Sun King Brewery I have been wanting to try for a very, very long time. With some struggle (it's a long story) the opportunity finally reached fruition and Steve and I finally got the chance to try their beer. We weren't disappointed and we enjoyed what we had quite a bit! We had the GFJ/Grapefruit Jungle which was an IPA. As the name implies it had Grapefruit, citrus, fruitiness going on. I personally live IPA's that have Grapefruit in them as it puts a different spin to that beer type. Some breweries do it better than others but this one was definitely one of the better ones. Getting swag in the past was also a struggle with this brewery as they were sold out and not having my size but I eventually won out on that too when they got some of their shirts restocked so I can go represent the brewery when out and about trying other ones or returning to old favorites.

This is an awesome spot to check out if you're looking for a drink in Indy! They have a fantastic collection of beers and cocktails and boozy slushes! I love the spectrum of beers from heavy barrel-aged beers to fruity IPAs, there's something for everyone! We also got some nachos from the food window inside and the nachos were delicious! In terms of the space, it is quite large with lots of open seating. Definitely recommend checking this place out for a drink!

Across from my gate, I sat at the bar for a glass of wine on a Friday night before my flight took off. The bartender was so attentive. No one waited long. She was focused. The pour was a good one. TVs on the wall. Best airport bar ever. Would like to try the food next time.

Sun King has some of the best beer around and they are constantly trying new mixtures and flavors. The downtown location has a seasonal slushee or milkshake type drink. I love getting one in the summer and sitting on their patio. The entire seating area inside and out is family friendly. Dogs are welcome outside on the patio. Theres a small restaurant inside where you can get some tasty nachos and they have THE BEST queso around the downtown area! We went on the Kings Reserve tour and had so much fun. We learned a lot and got to taste a few different beers. We were the only ones who racked on the Reserve part of the tour so we got a little private tour of the barrels and tastings of the barrel aged beers. Definitely worth it! Even for a non-beer drinker like me.

Savannah made us and our dog feel right at home! Will be back to enjoy more brews soon!

We stopped here on our way to Cincinnati for a drink and a quick bite. When we went inside the host was super nice and politely told us they were closing in an hour but that we still had plenty of time to have drinks! We sat outside on their patio and pet some dogs that some people had brought with. It was a great atmosphere/vibe. Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly and checked back regularly! Unfortunately because we came so late we couldn't try their nachos!

Come a long way! Really good brews and cocktails. It's great that you have some food choices too. If you us my tried their old fashioned-do! It's pricey but very tasty. Nice staff. Great atmosphere.

There is a parking lot across the street to the west as well as one to the north of the house it appeared. When we walked in, there was a room to the left that was hosting a private event, a cavernous room to the right with a huge TV screen, a load of tables as well as kids running around, and then straight ahead was the main space with various-sized tables, couches, and barrels for hi-tops in addition to separate spaces to order drinks from their bar and food from their kitchen. If you know what you're doing, it's probably best to order your food first since there will be a wait and then get in line for your drinks. Place was pretty busy on a Saturday at 5:00 as most of the tables were taken, but we were able to take our drinks and the number we received from the kitchen to claim one of the few remaining. If you have kids with you, they had various board game activities around to pass the time. For food, we tried the Pretzel ($8) which came with beer cheese and what seemed like a horseradish mustard. Pretzel was good and we liked both dipping options. We also ordered the Dip Trio ($17), which included their three dips (pimento cheese, creamy spinach, hummus) along with pita bread, veggies (carrots, peppers, celery), and tortilla chips for dipping. It was a full tray of food and probably more than we anticipated. We enjoyed everything. Lastly, we split the Portobello Sandwich and substituted fries for the side ($14). The sandwich was messy, but extremely tasty. The fries were OK, essentially breaded in texture which isn't my favorite and probably wouldn't order again. For drinks, my wife went with an Ash & Elm cider option they had. I was excited by their multiple stout options so I ordered a flight. I did their Winner's Milk Jug Stout, Nitro Winner's Milk Jug Stout, Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial and Barrel Series: Imperial Milk Stout #21. Their 2 Milk Jug options were little too coffee-esque for my liking. The Hot Chocolate had a fun spicy taste, but the absolute winner was the Barrel Series as it had amazing flavor. Beyond the confusion coming in figuring out the process, the only other peculiar thing was that it seemed they wanted you to bus your own table. Considering we placed our order at each counter and paid tips for each when we did so, that seemed a little out of place. We don't live close, but would definitely be interested in returning if in the area again. Would probably order a little less food next time.
