We had great snacks and great service! We came in to celebrate my husband's birthday and it wasn't very busy and our server was able to get us served very quickly. If you are looking for a small family friendly neighborhood brewery then this is a great spot to land. Not only is there a section dedicated to seating families, but there's also a section if you want to enjoy adult time as well!. I took my partner here to celebrate his birthday a few days early and it was fun. We only had our littlest baby with us at the time so it was even more enjoyable. Brett was our bartender/server and he was super nice. Taylor the manager was also super friendly and helpful. This space may be smaller, but it is perfect for what they are going for. Stop in for a few beers and a few noshes after work or just to check out the game on TV. We ordered a few appetizers to share and were planning on ordering more, but when we asked if we could we were told the kitchen was closing a little early. We are both in the industry so we totally understand that. We just would have liked to have been told that earlier so we could have had the opportunity to order dinner as well. The food that we ordered was good and the baby enjoyed the hell out of their soft baked pretzel. Our favorite beer from Mashcraft is Last Light. If you haven't tried it we highly recommend it! Very welcoming crew at this location! Stopped in after dinner at Loco (Mexican) for a night cap before heading home. We happened to attend during Trivia night. While I'm not a big trivia person it was fun to listen to the questions and find out just how little I know about random topics. They only serve beer but have plenty of choices and cider as well. Checked out this spot, first time at any MashCraft, and I enjoyed it! I'd heard mixed things about the beer. Nice people and overall decent beer selection. My partner enjoyed the hot turkey sandwich. I had the meaty trio flatbread and it tasted like I was eating Hunt's tomato sauce from a can on thin bread. I could taste nothing but the tomato sauce. The meat and cheese were bland to tasteless. Last time I had the buffalo chicken flatbread and it was better. I love this beer; and I was very happy I didn't have to travel to the Deep South to have it when I was craving it. A friend of mine and I decided to stop here after brunch one day because we wanted just one more beer and we enjoy the location. The location is awesome off of Delaware street, it's open, modern and friendly. They seem to switch featured artists works on the wall which i enjoy. Service is supreme, attentive but not overbearing and they allow you to ask questions without you feeling like You are a bother. All of the beer is tasty, I personally will drink anything that isn't an ipa. Flight is the way to go since you can get a nice sampling of all the flavors and not get to beer full. Mashcraft on Delaware St. is a wonderful Brewery in downtown Indy that offers a wonderful variety of beer and a limited food menu. This was my first time visiting the downtown Indy location, and I was impressed with the ambiance and the outside front patio. The bartenders were cool and had quite the personality, so it made my experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the cotton candy beer and the Cherry Pie Imperial Porter beer. Both beers were delicious and wonderful!! I did not get any food, but I would imagine their selection of food is very good!! Compared to the Fishers location, I would say this location is smaller in size, but has more character and the front patio is nicer. This brewery is a solid average. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here; but chances are I'll continue to go back due to convenience. We are a family of four. I had an IPA beer flight where I found two I enjoyed. We had a pretzel which was delicious. My kids enjoyed the games available. I was disappointed that they didn't have the beer my wife wanted and the server said I don't understand why they don't take it off the menu. No corn dogs for the kids and no chips!!! I understand that this place was probably slammed this weekend with final four, and all the kids sport championships going on but it is Indy In the spring. The food was excellent but when chips are $2, come with all meals and there is no alternative I would think the least you could do would be to take $2 off the price. It also would help if you let people know when they sit down that your out of things not after they've ordered beers and an appetizer and gotten comfortable. This brewery is in an up and coming neighborhood with newer houses and more restaurants. The venue itself is great and has an amazing layout. It is very much a more bar feel with self-seating and going up to bartenders to make your orders. We first sat in the bar and then moved to a table when it opened up. The bartenders were great and were helpful in helping my friends pick a beer. I immediately wanted a Red which they had. I tasted it and I knew I was going to like it. We also ordered the hummus and had a table outside and hung out. It was great weather to be outside and have a beer. The Red was great but nothing extremely spectacular. This is a great place if you live in the neighborhood and want to place to just chill. They also have a variety of board games that you can play. This was my first experience at MashCraft and I throughly enjoyed it. They have a wide variety of craft brews and the servers help to find a beer that is best suited for you. I ordered the roasted red pepper hummus and the soft pretzel. The beer cheese that came with the pretzel was very creamy. I did not particularly like the spicy mustard that came with the pretzel, it had a little too much Worcestershire sauce. The signs with the beers on tap had an indicator to show how much beer is in the kegs. I thought this was a cool way to show customers what people really liked. Lovely place. Filled with multiple homemade brews and classic board games to peruse. Yes, a few pieces are missing from Guess Who? But guess who cares? Not me. I played it anyway and it was just as fun as if it weren't't missing a piece or two. Their pretzels and beer cheese are freakin' delicious and it is located in prime time territory and was only ab a 1 minute walk from the air bnb loft I was staying at at the time. They had a blood Orange beer on tap. My BFF and fellow Ruffian bought a growler of that batch of deliciousness. Good prices overall. Friendly staff. We liked Mitch, I guess he's the brewery manager or something, which was interesting for me, because I had never met a "Mitch" before. BUT...and I know this is typical of many breweries, but still I'm going to say it. It just closes too darn early. I mean why close when the guess whoing gets a-brewing'? Plus it closes at 10 most nights and 11 on Saturdays. Most breweries at least stay open until midnight. So my main problem is I'd just like for them to have more hours available to imbibe their delightful beer and cider collections. Plus, it would be cool if they got a Ouija board in there. A real one. You know, one that works. Once I went to a coffee shop that had a Ouija board that was totally dead, because I couldn't communicate with anyone whose dead. Not even an annoying dead person. Is it too much to ask to be able to talk to spirits while I drink in some spirits? Yes, probably. But that's why I'm not knocking them down a point for that. Just for their hours and I think they could have more board games, though the selection they had there wasn't't half bad. Maybe they could throw some Mall Madness magic into the mix. I find this the easiest way to display your beer, especially for someplace like MashCraft with a large selection. Stopped into MashCraft for dinner before a show on the recommendation of the girlfriend of a staff member. We were really excited to see the space was so nice and bright when we walked in. Very urban and industrial but still inviting. A wide variety of people were there including couples with My husband and I were pleased with both the food and the beers we had. I really enjoyed the blood orange IPA I had as well as the red ale I tried. I had the chicken, bacon, ranch pressed wrap and it was good -- my husband had a flatbread and I liked that slightly better. We had split a big pretzel with two excellent dipping sauces -- a cajun mustard and a house beer cheese. All of the food came out super quickly (not too fast just promptly). We sat at the bar and were really impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the servers. We also liked that if you checked in to your beer on UnTapped it came up on their beer menu screens (they have big screens up with constantly updated information about what's on tap). Made us feel a little famous. The only reason I didn't give MashCraft a 5 is because I felt like as far as the food goes, I tried what I wanted to but don't have a real reason to go back. I've enjoyed a beer or three over the years brewed by MashCraft but have never visited one of their three brewpubs until last Friday night. I had a very good experience. What I liked: - Good beer, in a nice variety of styles, including some off-the-beaten stuff - Knowledgeable bartenders who are enthusiastic about the product they're pouring - A tap list board that's electronic and so thoroughly updated that there's even an icon telling you how much beer is left in the keg (I've never seen that before) - That it was around 7 pm on a Saturday and the place was not packed with people. We found two hightops at the bar straight away - The vibe. Besides one guy (who had an ID badge and appeared to be some kind of beer industry person) laughing uproariously and thus very loud and abrasively, it was pretty calm. There were some folks playing cards, another group of ladies just chatting on the couch and a couple people who were either on a date or just hanging out. It was nice to not have to talk over loud music or loud people. - The Mexican place next door What was so-so: - The lighting is a little bright, no big deal, just an observation - The menu has pretty much just flatbreads of a moderate variety. Mashcraft is a great stop if you're up on the Old Northside around Fall Creek Place! There's also a location in Greenwood so you can really find Mashcraft anywhere! I love how many beer options they have and the TVs above the bar list off helpful information about each one so you don't have to feel so stressed out picking a great drink. I've also had the Asian flatbread pizza and some of their pretzels and it's safe to say their food is really great! It can be hard to find a brewery that also does food well but Mashcraft has it. I love their Oktoberfest the most and the mug it came in was so cool that I bought one from their merch section in store. My friends and I love playing Uno or Jenna and spending time there just hanging out. They are on the Indy Craft Pass so definitely check them out! read more

I have to say, I was extremely impressed with this place! I've been wanting to check it out for awhile now, but just haven't had the chance. So glad to finally make it in yesterday. I have a feeling this is going to be a place I frequent often. Walking in you see a couple different sections. Some tables, a few chairs and couches, and then the bar top area. I was with a group of 5 and we found a table to accommodate us. We were quickly greeted by a bartender to guide us with where there beer lists are and food menus (they have tv screens with their tap list as well as lists on the tables. The food menu was also on the table) 3 of us chose to get flights so we could sample as many of the beers offered. I've had MashCraft beer before, but nothing that I remembered or ever really stuck out to me. So I asked for recommendations and so glad I did. I honestly enjoyed every beer I tried. My favorites were Last Light and Java Red. Seriously, so so good! We ordered the Garden Pesto Flatbread and it was really good. Everything on the menu looked interesting(in a good way) and I'm excited to come back to try more. They have a ton of outlets if you're wanting to come here to get some work done. They also have games to play! Always a nice touch. Going to breweries is one of my favorite things to do. I'm so excited this place is close to me and has some amazing beers!
