I love this place. The staff was super friendly and easy to talk to, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I sat outside since it was a nice day, and the patio was great with plenty of plants and a laid-back atmosphere. The whole space has a creative, welcoming feel that fits perfectly with the Near Eastside vibe. All the drinks were great, and it's clear the folks behind Kismetic care about what they're doing. Definitely one of those neighborhood spots that you come back to!

Britt works the bar on Fridays and is really fun to talk with when I stop in for a drink after work most weeks. She always has a beer to recommend when I'm not sure what I'm in the mood for. A quaint little spot to unwind with a great beer while reading my book. I also love all of the plants they have surrounding the front entrance/windows! So charming.

What's not to like about this place? Women owned - affordable beer with a lot of options - incredible interior design - a parking lot?! - and really wonderful people. This place left a lasting impression and if I had more time on my hands I'd be at this place a lot more frequently. If you haven't been, GO!

Whoever thought of the logo and design of this place did a great job. It has such neat colors that run throughout the inside of this east side brewery. The apparel and glasses they use are awesome! They have their logo on them and it not only those, but the area where it leads to the restrooms is so cool! Not to mention the restrooms are even cooler. They incorporated the theme of the brewery perfectly! They were most recently were voted the 2nd Best New Brewery in the nation by USA Today! My personal favorite piece they have is the juke box. Did I go and pick songs? Yes, yes, I did! They offer a few snacky items but ClusterTruck is suggested if you want food. I saw people ordering pizzas, buffalo Mac and cheese, and tot-cho's from ClusterTruck. Lots of people were enjoying their beer and having a good time. I can see if you lived in this area it would be a nice place to hang out. If you're not in the area it's not far from downtown at all.

Delicious beer, chill vibe and off the beaten path! Definitely worth a visit to this female owned brewery for a unique brew and great color scheme. I came after work one day and the place was alive with chatter and mellow rock. The service was great. My attendant was kind and checked in several times despite the order-at-the-counter service. A free, small parking lot is across the street.

What a sweet little spot to drink beer. On our first visit there they had a few vendors set up inside, selling their wares. Some had jewelry others had plants and there was also someone selling homemade mugs. It's nice to watch businesses come together to help each other out. Not a lot of beers on tap, but what they lack in quantity they sure make up for in quality. I was only able to try the New England IPA and also the banana nut Hefe. Both or fantastic. You could easily taste the freshness in the beers. I definitely plan on making a return trip and trying whatever they put out next.

Indiana and craft beer just go together imo, as usual I started to see this place pop up on Instagram and I was curious, I had the chance to swing over one night and I'm glad I did. The inside is decorated, in a low key, classy, 70s way? I'm not sure of the formal names of designing, but it looks awesome. Service is great, I enjoyed chatting with one of the owners and she answered all my questions about the different beers, and in general was just fun to chat with! I also enjoyed all of my beers, they were all flavorful, refreshing, and unique. Check this location out if you are in the area, there's something for everyone here!

Kismetic really knows what they're doing! They opened in my neighborhood last year and I've taken way too long to check them out. I finally made it over on a rainy day and tried as many options as I could. The location is great and the creative and colorful design is super fun. Best of all, the actual beer is really high quality. They've made a splash in the Indy beer scene and deserve respect for their great work. Would love to see food options here some day to make it easier to visit more often, but if you like beer, you have to check these great folks out!

I was excited when we finally got the chance to pop into this newish brewery. Since then, we've been back a second time with plans to keep going back! Every beer I've had has been fantastic! So far, I've had the German Pilsner, Italian Pilsner, Schwartbier and New England IPA. And, honestly, I'm not a big pilsner fan, but those pilsners are excellent...so crisp and flavorful! The service is also fantastic. The owner was our bartender both times we were there. She was so friendly and happy to talk with us when she had a moment. She'd checked in on us and not let us sit there with empty glasses. I really like the decor in the brewery too. I love the purple and teal color combo! There's long benches with plush seats. There's a jukebox! It's just got a cool retro vibe going on. If you love beer, you must stop in here!

I couldn't help but think about Yelper Ken N. and his beloved "day drinking" gatherings as I finally got the opportunity to check out Kismetic Beer Company, a new indie brewery located inside the 201 Studios building at 201 S. Rural. Ken would have loved this place. He most certainly would have tried it out before me. I'm a casual drinker at best, though I have a friend who has a studio in this building and I've been aware of Kismetic's pending arrival long before a piece of furniture was in place. Ken would have loved the stylish retro vibe here. He would have loved the friendly employees. He would have really loved the experimental brews that I personally think are some of Indy's best options including an out of this world Italian Pilsner and a dynamic German option that truly rocked my world. For those who are unaware, Ken N. was a multi-year Yelp Elite who'd just been named, if I recall correctly, the YelpTime Achievement Award winner in 2020 and whose death due to brain cancer hit a lot of us pretty hard. There was a group of us that gathered regularly on his behalf - I was in that group, though I didn't gather quite as often as some. I'm still heartbroken that Ken fell 14 reviews shy of his goal to achieve 4,000 reviews before the death that he knew was coming. Again, Ken would have loved Kismetic Beer Co. I enjoyed watching Kismetic grow from a hardcore industrial space to a cozy, intimate, and fun space for gathering that still somehow seems to fit inside the 201 Studios. I wondered if they'd manage to make the space wheelchair accessible enough for me - they've done pretty darn well. This particular visit was a fairly quick one, though I look forward to returning in the near future when I can actually linger a bit more. This is an interesting space - 201 Studios is a 100-year-old factory that is finding new life as a host for a variety of makers, artists, and other creatives. The spaces range from incredibly industrial to surprisingly charming. I believe that Kismetic is really the first space to be a truly "public" space and it's got an entrance that allows for public access. There's both street and private lot parking. There's honestly nothing I don't like about this space. It's attractive inside, the employees are friendly and genuine, the brews I've tried are among the best I've tried locally, and I love the 201 Studios vibe so much that I want to find a reason to rent a space here. As a bit of a loner without a lot of strong connections, I find that I am most drawn to places where I feel a sense of belonging. I get that here. It may be the sort of 70's decor and vibe. It may be the employees. It may be that this is all plopped in the middle of a residential area. I don't know. I don't really have to know. I just really, really like it and I look forward to returning. I would be aware that the social media pages are more active than the actual website. So, if you're wondering about events or goings on I'd check them out on Facebook rather than depending on the website. Seriously, if you love a truly great vibe and out of the ordinary brews this is Indy's new gem and a place to check out.

What a cool spot! The space is comfortable industrial. It has this hip retro vibe with teal and purple that makes you feel immediately like you've been transported into a Relaxing lounge. I had the new Juniper Kolsch steeped with juniper berries! Light, crisp, and completely refreshing. Summer patio pounder for sure! The staff is the best! Nicole the owner and bartender on occasion, recognized us from a previous visit. She's full of knowledge and ready to find you a beer to love! What a great addition to the community.

Perfect size to hang out and just enjoy beer with friends and family. Easy to get to and they also have their own parking area. They don't have a kitchen but you can order delivery. Been here twice and it's been a great experience each time. If you enjoy coffee, try their coffee beer, it's the best I've had!

What a cool new brewery in Indy! First off, the branding is stunning. The decor, furniture, and vibes are so cool. There's a free jukebox!!!!! It's a little off the beaten path, but a short drive from Fountain Square. It has a free parking lot out front and it's easy to find from there. One of the owners was working behind the bar and he was so nice!!!! He recommended a few beers and they were great! We will definitely be back again with a group of friends!

There is a parking lot across the street to the west as well as one to the north of the house it appeared. When we walked in, there was a room to the left that was hosting a private event, a cavernous room to the right with a huge TV screen, a load of tables as well as kids running around, and then straight ahead was the main space with various-sized tables, couches, and barrels for hi-tops in addition to separate spaces to order drinks from their bar and food from their kitchen. If you know what you're doing, it's probably best to order your food first since there will be a wait and then get in line for your drinks. Place was pretty busy on a Saturday at 5:00 as most of the tables were taken, but we were able to take our drinks and the number we received from the kitchen to claim one of the few remaining. If you have kids with you, they had various board game activities around to pass the time. For food, we tried the Pretzel ($8) which came with beer cheese and what seemed like a horseradish mustard. Pretzel was good and we liked both dipping options. We also ordered the Dip Trio ($17), which included their three dips (pimento cheese, creamy spinach, hummus) along with pita bread, veggies (carrots, peppers, celery), and tortilla chips for dipping. It was a full tray of food and probably more than we anticipated. We enjoyed everything. Lastly, we split the Portobello Sandwich and substituted fries for the side ($14). The sandwich was messy, but extremely tasty. The fries were OK, essentially breaded in texture which isn't my favorite and probably wouldn't order again. For drinks, my wife went with an Ash & Elm cider option they had. I was excited by their multiple stout options so I ordered a flight. I did their Winner's Milk Jug Stout, Nitro Winner's Milk Jug Stout, Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial and Barrel Series: Imperial Milk Stout #21. Their 2 Milk Jug options were little too coffee-esque for my liking. The Hot Chocolate had a fun spicy taste, but the absolute winner was the Barrel Series as it had amazing flavor. Beyond the confusion coming in figuring out the process, the only other peculiar thing was that it seemed they wanted you to bus your own table. Considering we placed our order at each counter and paid tips for each when we did so, that seemed a little out of place. We don't live close, but would definitely be interested in returning if in the area again. Would probably order a little less food next time.
