Brewlink provides an easy dinner location when we visit my inlaws in Indianapolis. In addition to being convenient, it's also a major hit with my daughter who can't get enough of their mac and cheese (which is likely just classic kraft mac if I'm correct). For the grownups though, they have a variety of beer options - from a well balanced scotch ale to a easy \-drinking hefeweizen with banana clove. They also offer a Downeast cider for cider drinkers. There's some standard brewpub fare, my go-to is the fish tacos but with a side of tater tots, both slap. The fish , probably cod, is crispy with a thin batter. The cabbage, pico de gallo and Baja sauce round it out. The tator tots are a perfectly crispy and savory accompaniment.

A pretty good brewpub to hit after the game.... Or instead of going to the game or just to have eats and a beer. Better than usual menu for a brewpub. Service was good..... parking on site.

Food and service is top tier. I was skeptical on the mac and cheese burger, but it was amazing. I also get it prepared medium and to my my surprise, it was actually medium and not over cooked, 10/10

Brew Brisket Chili Mac and Cheese

This is a hidden little place in the heart of downtown that I would have otherwise missed if not meeting here with a group. We arrived right at opening for brunch for quick service. Our group of 8 was well accounted for and the kitchen worked quickly to accommodate all of us. It's a nicely decorated space and they even have their own parking lot! We came here as a surprise birthday brunch for one of our friends, and they allowed us to bring our own balloons and cake. I ordered... Brew Brisket Chili Mac and Cheese ($13): this is a huge bowl of Mac with all the works. Though I wish there was a little more brisket, it is surely packed with flavor and all the fixings. And yet, I found it to reach the perfect level of satiation for me. I don't remember all the toppings, so please forgive me there, but I think that it all culminates together very well. I love that I've found a new place for downtown outings! I will also say, at least at the time of posting, they have kept their prices fairly low compared to similar restaurants in the city. Another plus!

What a fall from grace. This place used to be amazing. The new kitchen can't cook a burger to save their life. Last 5 or so times, were either served raw meat or a shoe. I brought it up several times, but it falls on deaf ears. No apology, discount, or offer to remake it. They served us raw ground beef I had to eat around. See for yourself.

Criminally underrated and under appreciated brewery in downtown Indy. My review: you need to go here. Brew Link is amazing and not enough people are talking about it. The beers are great. They have so many good beers. They brew some unique flavors, too. And they work. I love their Marshmallow IPA. So many breweries stopped making wacky and fun beers after COVID. Brew Link still goes. Next... their food. The beer alone is good enough to mandate a visit, but so is the food. They have so many delicious smoked meats. I've had the brisket chili Mac and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were just amazing. They have a pretty big menu for a brewery, too. There is something for everyone. The service is great too. I have come with huge groups for Trivia and they do what they can to seat us together. All the wait staff is so friendly. It's very beautiful inside, too. There's a wooden modern look and you can see the brewing equipment through glass walls. 11/10 you NEED to try Brew Link. Great beers, great food, amazing staff, amazing vibes. GO TO BREW LINK NOW.

This was my first time trying this restaurant. My coworker told me about their tacos. Let me just say, these tacos were great. you have a choice between beef or chicken. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa. For dessert, we tried the chocolate chip waffle, à la mode. It's a waffle dessert that's taste like a cookie. It's semi-hard & semi-soft and crunchy. Personally, I think the dessert was okay, however, if you try the dessert I'd recommend you try it with a glass of milk.

I live only about a mile from this gym and had no idea it existed. I was having some work done on my car down the street and came in for a little work time and some lunch. I ate at the bar. The bartender was helpful with selectionsand was friendly to talk to you. The is big and inviting with a fireplace that was not on as it was nearly 80° that day. I had the general tso cauliflower and a chicken salad that the bartender suggested I order grilled as opposed to crispy. Served with a delicious honey mustard dressing, the two items were a perfect blend for a rather large lunch.

For only my second restaurant visit since cancer surgery, I joined fellow Yelp Elite Wanda M. after a clinic appointment for which she provided transportation. I'm still fairly limited in terms of mobility and really only get out when someone else is providing the transportation for now. Brew Link is a 2-location brewery with the first being in Plainfield, Indiana. This location has a much broader bar selection and took over the spot from another brewery. I'd never been here prior to today and was anxious to snag a Yelp review and also just plain get out of the house. There's parking on the side of the building, though for wheelchair users the only entry option is at the street entrance. You can technically get in the door on the side, but there are steps to get to the actual dining area. The ambience is what I'd call urban industrial with a touch of kitsch. Many of their beers have fun names and there are entertaining graphics at different places throughout Brew Link. There is a family friendly area for dining. There's also a bar area that is 21+ and it's clearly marked. During better weather, they do have an outside patio area. Once inside, all but one platformed area is accessible - however, most of the actual bar is high-top. Brew Link does have an extensive alcohol menu, though they do also serve soft drinks and both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. The food menu is fairly typical for a bar, though it's also pretty extensive. I'm not being too adventurous these days due to my health changes, though I did eat a bigger meal than usual these days by ordering their Brewhouse Classic Burger with tots. The Brewhouse Classic is your basic cheeseburger, though I was able to order it without cheese without getting a dirty look. The burger was cooked to order, medium well, and was a hefty chunk of beef. I really enjoyed this burger. The tots were also delicious. It was a healthy sized order, though not decadent. I was full, though not completely stuffed. The atmosphere is loud, though Wanda and I were able to enjoy a conversation without difficulty. She's somewhat of a regular here and was far more familiar with how things worked. Our server, I believe his name was Angelo, was top-notch. He was attentive without being intrusive and quite personable. I actually did use the restroom while here - in terms of accessibility, the entry door is rather heavy. However, once inside it's pretty roomy with a stall that has three grab bars. There are also two urinals. I found it mostly accessible, though those with a weak upper body may struggle and larger chairs may be a bit more challenged. My lightweight manual chair was fine. I'm not quite willing to go five-star, though this was a super solid 4-star experience and quite pleasant from beginning to end. There's no doubt I will return.

Nice spot to hang out with friends, get some food, and try some new-to-us beers. I appreciate the free parking (lot) especially since we were downtown. Shout out to our server on her third day. She was great! Favorites included the fried pickles and Ivory - a white stout!

We stopped in here on a Saturday evening before we went to the hockey game. And it was pretty good. We got the cheese curds and they were pretty solid. Got a nice big burger. And it was rather tasty as well. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and mac & cheese. Also service was good. Ambience was cool. Had nice TVs all around we enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend it.

Pretzel sticks & Mexican lager

I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon. They seemed pretty clearly understaffed. I was only there to read a book, have a beer, and enjoy some time. I sat for nearly 20 minutes before I had to wave down a server and ask for a menu/beer. I wonder if it wasn't clear whose table I was seated at? I had the Mexican lager: Primo. It was a solid beer! I also ordered the pretzel sticks, which were fabulous with the beer cheese dip. I knew I attention was a problem, so I had to get more attention just to pay my bill. The decor and vibe was your basic modern-brewery, which is fine with me. The price was okay, but the location is pretty mid. Will I be back? Probably not.

They have good choices. The bartender was so nice. She explained to me well after I told her that it was my first time here. I had flight of beers and they were all so good! I enjoyed it a lot. Schwarbier was my favorite! They do have food but you have to go to different windows. It was easy to do. I had Dip Trio which was really good. I want to stick with something healthy. But it was good. I love the Spinach dip. This is great experience. If I am back in town, I would go this again and also will definitely recommend to my friends and family to go here.

There is a parking lot across the street to the west as well as one to the north of the house it appeared. When we walked in, there was a room to the left that was hosting a private event, a cavernous room to the right with a huge TV screen, a load of tables as well as kids running around, and then straight ahead was the main space with various-sized tables, couches, and barrels for hi-tops in addition to separate spaces to order drinks from their bar and food from their kitchen. If you know what you're doing, it's probably best to order your food first since there will be a wait and then get in line for your drinks. Place was pretty busy on a Saturday at 5:00 as most of the tables were taken, but we were able to take our drinks and the number we received from the kitchen to claim one of the few remaining. If you have kids with you, they had various board game activities around to pass the time. For food, we tried the Pretzel ($8) which came with beer cheese and what seemed like a horseradish mustard. Pretzel was good and we liked both dipping options. We also ordered the Dip Trio ($17), which included their three dips (pimento cheese, creamy spinach, hummus) along with pita bread, veggies (carrots, peppers, celery), and tortilla chips for dipping. It was a full tray of food and probably more than we anticipated. We enjoyed everything. Lastly, we split the Portobello Sandwich and substituted fries for the side ($14). The sandwich was messy, but extremely tasty. The fries were OK, essentially breaded in texture which isn't my favorite and probably wouldn't order again. For drinks, my wife went with an Ash & Elm cider option they had. I was excited by their multiple stout options so I ordered a flight. I did their Winner's Milk Jug Stout, Nitro Winner's Milk Jug Stout, Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial and Barrel Series: Imperial Milk Stout #21. Their 2 Milk Jug options were little too coffee-esque for my liking. The Hot Chocolate had a fun spicy taste, but the absolute winner was the Barrel Series as it had amazing flavor. Beyond the confusion coming in figuring out the process, the only other peculiar thing was that it seemed they wanted you to bus your own table. Considering we placed our order at each counter and paid tips for each when we did so, that seemed a little out of place. We don't live close, but would definitely be interested in returning if in the area again. Would probably order a little less food next time.

The Brussels sprouts are an absolute triumph: perfectly blistered with a caramelized exterior and tender interior, dressed in a harmonious balance of bright acidity and savory depth. Little crunchy bits and a subtle smoky char add texture, while a finishing sprinkle (and a hint of something sweet-salty) elevates them from simple side to a show-stealer. The Korean salmon is equally impressive. The fish arrives flaky and moist with a richly glazed crust that carries sweet, spicy, and umami notes in perfect proportion. Layers of flavor -- gochujang-forward heat, sesame brightness, and a touch of citrus -- play against the salmon's natural richness without overpowering it. It's plated thoughtfully, with complementary sides that keep each bite balanced. If you're at Big Lug Canteen, don't pass up those two dishes -- they demonstrate skilled technique, bold yet nuanced seasoning, and a real sense of care in the kitchen. I will cut some slack on the service, however - I arrives after what seems to have been a very atypical rush of Journey fans who inundated the place before heading to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. No one asked if everything was okay even though most of my food was untouched. The food... my salad (house greens) was a great little salad! I say this despite finding a hair on the plate when I was about 2/3 through. My mussels and fries were not great. The fries were mid - they tasted kind of overdone or as if the oil were old. The mussels were actively bad. The portion (an app) was pretty small. There was hardly any broth/wine and they weren't piping hot. Also, they were actually not tasty and the texture was rubbery. They remained in front of me, uncleared, even after I closed my tab. They did not smell good. I don't anticipate being sick but I do anticipate being hungry.
