The good: The patty melt was fantastic and the meat itself seemed high quality The wings were crispy and delicious The pizza (especially the crust) was good The nachos were LOADED The bad: The truffle fries are awful. They were old, stale, and didn't taste like truffle fries. The steak on the salad was some of the toughest steak I've ever had. I do not recommend this dish The house beer isn't my favorite ever The vibes are good aside from all of the kids. I miss the days where no kids were at breweries. Service was decent.

Really excited to have another brewery in the city. My husband and I first week around the holidays, and stopped in before a dinner reservations for some drinks. I will say, I wasn't the biggest fan of their beers, but was happy to see a list of local beers and thankfully a Metazoa Hoppapotamus fixes everything. The second time I went, was for lunch where I enjoyed the truffle fries and my coworker loved the turkey BLTA. The restaurant itself is spacious, and can't wait to see the patio when the weather is warmer. Great parking lot with plenty of spots. Overall, great location and well return!

We love voodoo! It's the cutest brewery. Great indoor and outdoor space. Also we have a newborn and they were so accommodating! The food was spectacular. The pretzel and wings I highly recommend.

Service at the bar was great! Cocktails were delish and the sour we tried was so good, we asked if they sold cans of it. My fiancé ordered a burger and loved it. The fries are hand cut and pretty tasty. I ordered the steak salad as a wrap. Good flavor but the steak was so incredibly tough to chew through, there was hardly any lettuce and was overflowing with dressing. It had good flavor, but would probably try something else next time. We will be back!!

Decided to visit this place after watching a review from The Traveling Food Guyde! I follow his suggestions and he's usually never wrong. We arrived and were met by one the owners Cher. She was super friendly and explain to us that due to the snow storm she was not fully staffed but could sit anywhere. We picked a table and sat down to order. Dani was our server and she was wonderful! I always get what Marcus suggests! We started with the wings. We opted for the BBQ and garlic pesto which was unusual for a wing sauce. Wings arrived and did not disappoint! Cooked in beef tallow! Juicy, crispy, and succulent. The sauces were phenomenal. We also had a side of Cajun ranch which was delicious. Next we went for the gluten free fish and chips also cooked in beef tallow and the sweet heat pizza both were elite! Cher the owner was super cool and very sweet! She brought us a couple of small dishes of soup to try and both amazing! Full of flavor I highly recommend. Also a small dish of brisket with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts all top notch chef quality food. Cher finished us off with two house favorite drinks and a special dessert. All were fantastic! Chef John came out and introduce himself. He's a great guy and outstanding chef of 30 years! He knows what he's doing. Dave the other owner and Chers husband came over for a nice chat. Great guy as well! The ambience of Voodoo is fantastic. Love the entire set up. Has nice decor and double garage doors to open up the patio in warm weather. They have love music on Fridays and Saturdays. Please support this family owned local business! It's healthy bar food at a reasonable price owned by good people that care about their customers! Keep up the great work Dave and Cher! God bless!

I was waiting to try Voodoo for months while I waited for it to open. It has a great outdoor area with fire pits and seating for the days when its great to be outdoors. I have not tried their food yet but it does look decent from what I have seen. The beer prices are kind of all over the place. I came here on opening day. I got an IPA that was only 4.7% ABV and a 12 ounce pour and it was $12. My friend got an IPA 7% ABV and it was $6. I have since gone back and now that beer is $9! Actually I'm struggling to understand why their prices are so different and with about a dozen other options within 2 miles why should I go here? Maybe there food is the draw and in all fairness, I need to give them that chance but in the end, not sure if I'll frequent them regularly. Note: I will say that the service has been awesome each time I have been here. Great staff!

Our family came in on opening day and really enjoyed ourselves :) the cocktails were awesome and my fiancé enjoyed the beers (all Voodoo brand). We started with the chips and I HIGHLY recommend them. So tasty and fresh! Definitely ask for extra beer cheese as this was not enough. Our waitress was pretty slow, but it was opening day and the restaurant was slammed so we gave her grace on that. I'm hoping that the servers get for comfortable and experienced. We would love to come back next time we are in Fishers. I really loved the Blue Sapphire cocktail and the wings. Would love to try more sauce with them too :) the pizza was great and the tenders were good. It was packed and all the guests seemed pretty happy :)

I visited on opening day. It was packed, but that wasn't an issue at all. We grabbed seats at the bar, and our orders were taken quickly. The bartender was fast and friendly. My husband ordered a pint while I went with a flight. We split the Voodoo Burger with fries and added a side of beer cheese. The burger delivered on flavor with melty cheese and bacon piled on. The beer cheese turned out to be the perfect dip for the French fries. The beer selection was tasty. For an opening day, they handled everything smoothly. The food quality and service made this first visit memorable. I'll be back to try more of their menu.

Great new spot that i highly recommend checking out. I've been here twice now and the beer is great, the staff is attentive and the food is tasty. What more could you ask for? Well i guess a better parking situation but it's not that bad just avoid the unnecessary road curbs and you'll be fine. They also host trivia every Tuesday and no shade to Hambone (it's just not my favorite trivia set up) but Nerdy Talk does a much better job. Definitely check this place out and don't forget to tip your servers!

For being busy as it's a fairly new still the service and food was outstanding. It was busy as it was close to 7:30 and we were seat promptly. The waitress was fast and we got our drinks and ordered and had our food out fast for almost all the tables being full. I had walked by a table that had pickle pizza!!! It looked so good. I had seen other people's food come out and finally made my decision. Pickle pizza or a frisco melt. Frisco melt it was and I really thought it was great. The right amount of sauce, cheese, meat, to the right toast on the bread. Great sandwich. Next time I'm going to get the pickle pizza. The prime rib had sold out so that must be one of the big sellers. All in all a good experience in what seems to be a fairly new area in Fishers. Vicious Biscuits which opened and Graeter's not sure if it was open yet are in the same area.

Tried Voodoo for the first time for lunch on a Sunday and it was a great atmosphere! They had a wide selection of cocktails, but I was more impressed with their gluten free options! They had a gluten free buns for sandwiches and burgers, crust for pizzas, and even chicken tenders! Lots of options which is usually not the case. The service was quick for the amount of customers, and our group had a great time. We're ready to try it again in the summer when their patio is open.

Excited to have some new restaurants popping up in this part of Fishers! Went on a Saturday during dinner and had a slight wait, nbd. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The artwork on the walls is super cool, but my biggest complaint is how loud this place is. It's basically a concrete box and when they have live music, it gets worse. I felt like I had to yell at the people sitting next to me. My salad was yummy, but I didn't feel great later that night. I think maybe it was just a little too much Caesar dressing mixed with alcohol. Willing to give it another shot!

Really cool new spot we recently discovered in Fishers! Very cool vibe, excellent food, delicious craft beer and friendly service! Huge restaurant area, huge patio area which will be fantastic in the warmer months! Really glad to find this place and will for sure be back!!

I wonder what other stuffings were in the dumplings. I greatly enjoyed the veggie Asian slaw of carrots, red peppers, chives, etc. under the dumplings. Ponzu sauce has a good taste. I definitely would recommend these dumplings. I have been interested in trying the $16 smoked then fried gluten-sensitive wings. A pound is like 8 wings. I needed more house-made BBQ sauce to cover the wings. Not amazing. Jamaican jerk wings were quite spicy. Carrots came with dish. I hoped for just smoked but must come as fried too but that made them hard to chew so I must give them 4 stars. I sat at a bar with TVs surrounding the room. Common sink between the restrooms. I'm huge on seeing photos before I order (hence me being a YELPer) so I loved the photos on the website. The hostess and our server were friendly. It took a big before the server came over, but the hostess did warn us that he did just have another table seated before us. The beer drinkers in our party enjoyed their beers. We started out with two apps... cheese curds and pretzel bites. When they came to the table, neither looked like they do on the website. On the website the pretzels looked a bit better than something you'd get in a mall, and they stated they came with cheese and mustard. In real time they only had cheese. The cheese curds also looked completely different and were smaller portions than shown online. For our meals we had a burger, a chicken sandwich, and I had the southwest salad. There seemed to be a little miscommunication with our waiter about the dressing for my salad, and that resulted in my salad missing some ingredients but he resolved it. But also of note, the menu listed a "avocado lime vinagrette" and the salad came with a guac that just looked like it was maybe left in the blender a second longer than it should have been. The burger was huge. We all agreed the food was "good" but we wouldn't add it to our list of must haves next time we are in town. The disappointment more came from things that hyped us up on the menu online and in store and then weren't actually the same. :(

We used to love going to the one downtown on Mass Ave also before it closed. But we're thankful this one is still open and that we live so close to it. I've found so many Xmas gifts for friends/family here also. If you're looking to find some retro, classic games and/or books, this might be the motherload! It's tucked in on the backside facing Home Depot, but once you find it the first time, you'll never forget where it is! Go in, grab some games, a beer (or two), and hang out during a trivia night! My…read moregood buddy is a bit of a low-key musical virtuoso (the guy can play six instruments!), and I got to see him play three of the six instruments on the Books & Brews stage. It's such an intimate performance area, and the sound and lighting are great. They have open mic nights here every week, and I can see myself coming back in the future to listen to more music. This is the "mothership" B&B -- the OG. I've been to some of the other Books & Brews around Indy before they closed, and this one definitely feels like an original. It's very ... lived in, let's say. The layout makes no sense, and there's a lot of stuff everywhere. But it's a cozy space, and lots of people, including families with young kids, were there when I visited. I like that there are "third places" like this that adults and kids can visit to to play games and eat and have a beer. (The adults have a beer! Sorry, kids.) The food at any Books & Brews has never been my favorite. In fact, I usually avoid it altogether and just get beer. But this time, my drink of choice was kombucha, and I got an "Oliver Twist," which is a soft pretzel with beer cheese. That reminds me: The food and beverages on their menu have silly little literary names. You have to know something about me: When I see silly little names on menus for ordinary food items, a switch turns on inside me and I become a defiant brat. I will never play along and say "The Girl with the Chicken Nuggie Tattoo" instead of "chicken nuggets" or "A Tale of Two Piggies" instead of "the ham and bacon sandwich." Nope. It's not happening. And when I ordered the "soft pretzel" instead of the "Oliver Twist," they understood me just fine. There is a huge wall of shelves filled with board games that you can grab and play at your table. There had to have been at least 50 or 60 different games. They also have lots of new board games for sale, as well as things like Magic the Gathering decks, Pokemon cards, Funko and geeky swag. Oh! And, of course, they have lots and lots of books, new and used. I couldn't tell if they were arranged with any rhyme or reason. So if you're looking for something specific, you might have better luck finding it elsewhere. But if you're looking to let destiny choose your next read, you might want to pop into Books & Brews and let the B&B powers-that-be guide you to the perfect book.

The table ordered truffle fries, they finished it. It was our first time trying Upland beers. Most of the options are IPA and tart beers. None of which I like. The mixed drinks menu was meh, they offer 2 hard ciders, but one was unavailable. Our server let us try samples and she was very patient. For main dishes: I ordered a Salmon BLT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I didn't eat it with the bun, salmons was very thin, 1 piece of bacon, slice of tomato and 1 piece of lettuce. We had mac and cheese, DO NOT ORDER, it was floating in fat and there's no taste to it. Fish and chips was okay. The pizza was the highlight, it saved the night, I think. Bathrooms clearly labeled, easily seen, and clean. For 6 people, 2 of whom did not have alcoholic drinks (just water), our bill with tip was over $350. I would not come back here again, I had a better time and better food at other breweries.

The Brussels sprouts are an absolute triumph: perfectly blistered with a caramelized exterior and tender interior, dressed in a harmonious balance of bright acidity and savory depth. The Korean salmon is equally impressive. The fish arrives flaky and moist with a richly glazed crust that carries sweet, spicy, and umami notes in perfect proportion.
