Great family friendly place in downtown Fishers. Lots of parking nearby and easy to walk to from the main Fishers area. There's plenty of seating and we've never had to wait. Service is always great. They have a couple staple beers that are refreshing but they have other options too for non beer drinkers. Food is actually really good. Flatbreads, wings, sandwich's - I'd recommend it all. We're out of towners and the restaurant caught our eye while driving through town the other day. We checked out the menu online and decided to stop in for dinner last night. I'm huge on seeing photos before I order (hence me being a YELPer) so I loved the photos on the website. The hostess and our server were friendly. It took a big before the server came over, but the hostess did warn us that he did just have another table seated before us. The beer drinkers in our party enjoyed their beers. We started out with two apps... cheese curds and pretzel bites. When they came to the table, neither looked like they do on the website. On the website the pretzels looked a bit better than something you'd get in a mall, and they stated they came with cheese and mustard. In real time they only had cheese. The cheese curds also looked completely different and were smaller portions than shown online. For our meals we had a burger, a chicken sandwich, and I had the southwest salad. There seemed to be a little miscommunication with our waiter about the dressing for my salad, and that resulted in my salad missing some ingredients but he resolved it. But also of note, the menu listed a "avocado lime vinagrette" and the salad came with a guac that just looked like it was maybe left in the blender a second longer than it should have been. The burger was huge. We all agreed the food was "good" but we wouldn't add it to our list of must haves next time we are in town. The disappointment more came from things that hyped us up on the menu online and in store and then weren't actually the same. :( read more

I finally decided to dine-in because of their seasonal $13 shiitake dumplings. They were so unique, but I wish for more shiitake in the dumplings. I wonder what other stuffings were in the dumplings. I greatly enjoyed the veggie Asian slaw of carrots, red peppers, chives, etc. under the dumplings. Ponzu sauce has a good taste. I definitely would recommend these dumplings. I have been interested in trying the $16 smoked then fried gluten-sensitive wings. A pound is like 8 wings. I needed more house-made BBQ sauce to cover the wings. Not amazing. Jamaican jerk wings were quite spicy. Carrots came with dish. I hoped for just smoked but must come as fried too but that made them hard to chew so I must give them 4 stars. I sat at a bar with TVs surrounding the room. Common sink between the restrooms. You can sign up for their reward program after you sign your credit card approval. The food here is some of my favorite in fishers. It has a great outdoor seating area that is covered and heated in winter. Fantastic lemonade and alcoholic drinks. We did not make a reservation since it was a Thursday evening but we were advised it was a 15 min wait - so not so bad. After 30 mins and multiple parties walking in and being sat, we checked in with the hostess that said we can be sat but would be in an area that didn't have anyone so it could take longer for service - we weren't sure about the intent of the comment but nonetheless we were sat amongst other empty tables on the patio area, which was great since the weather was perfect! Our server greeted us and since we had allergy restrictions, we had to do a bit of double checking with the kitchen, we were very appreciative of the consideration as they accommodated her. We arrived and were seated quickly. Our seats upstairs overlooked the lower level (great spot)! Every table was full and the vibe was very chill. Our server came and took our drink order quickly and drinks arrived a short time later. I had the blackberry bourbon smash and my husband tried the track jumper ipa. Both were great! For appetizers we had to try the pork nachos and the baller tots (because with a name like that you HAVE TO TRY IT)! As we waited for the appetizers, the amazing aroma of slow cooked pulled pork filled the room. Soon, our appetizers arrived. The portion sizes were generous and the food was DELICIOUS. I'd recommend both! My husband ordered the tenderloin and I had the onion soup. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly with all the fixings on the side so you could make it just the way you like. My husband gave the tenderloin a solid 9.5/10. The onion soup was delicious as well. I wish there was just a little more broth. I would order it again! Definitely check this place out! I went out for dinner alone Saturday night and sat at the bar. Because it had been a nice day everyone was out and about in downtown Fishers so I wasn't surprised that the restaurant was busy. I ordered a salad with their Nashville hot honey chicken, a beer, and fries. In my mind it was the perfect "girl dinner." Unfortunately, my waitress wasn't very interested in making sure that my experience went well. She forgot my fries entirely, but didn't charge me for them and barely checked on me. I enjoyed the orange and blueberry ales - the orange one reminded me of Treehouse Julius and the Blueberry I liked because it was somewhat sour, not as sweet as blueberry beers typically are. It was a party of 7 "rowdy" seniors and our server Amber did a fantastic job of serving us and remembered every single order including special requests. Free parking was readily available on two sides of the street including a parking garage across the street. I had a strawberry jalapeño margarita which had just the right amount of kick and was delicious. I had three tacos. Two were the special of the week with chicken and avocado and mango and one pulled pork taco. It came with salsa and tortilla chips. All were quite tasty and fresh. No carryout today. The building and area its in, heart of the Nickleplate District in "downtown" Fishers, is perfect. Exposed brick, large open dining area, patio, and two sides for even more space. But I've never been blown away by their food, regardless of how good it sounds. It's by no means "bad" or "not good", but I think because the place is so nice and everything looks so fancy, maybe I'm expecting more from it than what it is, a brewery with great drinks...that also serves food. I can say that I've never had a bad time though! All the hosts, servers, bartenders, etc are extremely welcoming and helpful. But unless there's a particular reason I'm going there or if something new catches my eye on the menu (food or drinks), I may give a few other places a go first before I go back to FDR. read more

This is such a cute spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. I stopped by for happy hour and sat outside on the patio and it was absolutely gorgeous. They have a couple of happy hour specials for food and drink. I have to say the sweet potato fries were absolutely amazing! I would've never thought to sprinkle cinnamon sugar on them, but it is a total game changer. The server was new, but she was extremely helpful, and offered me a sample of two different beers before I decided on one of them. It is a great place to relax and people watch through the big windows or outside patio. I was in town in Indianapolis and came by this brewery based on a recommendation from a friend. I stopped in for supper and was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming. The service was amazing. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, seated almost immediately and served just a few moments after I had a chance to look over the menu. My drink came quite quickly, my appetizer came right after that, followed by my dinner. They have absolutely wonderful Tito's Moscow mules. I tried both their fried pickles, and cheese curds on two different nights. And the night that I was there for supper, I had the pork tenderloin fried. It was bread just perfect and tasted great! Mushroom duxelles burger (it comes with goat cheese and havarti but I left off the havarti because I don't love cheese like that) and BBQ pork-- of the 2 the pork was my fav. Tried both the truffle fries and regular ..... truffle are worth the extra $3. We shared fried pickles which were deliciously abundant and even had left overs. I don't like leaving negative reviews for local businesses, but my experience today was frustrating enough that I felt it was important to share. I'm a big fan of this restaurant's mac & cheese, I buy it often at the Kindle Market and was genuinely looking forward to having it all day. As a vegetarian who also doesn't enjoy spicy foods, it's one of the few dishes I can reliably enjoy. When I arrived, I noticed the regular mac & cheese was only listed on the kids' menu, while the main menu offered it only with chiles. Since both versions were listed at the exact same price, I asked if I could order the plain version. I was repeatedly told no. I completely understand that the kids' menu is designed for children, but it was disappointing that an identical item at the same price wasn't allowed to be ordered by an adult, especially considering it's something I've purchased many times at the market and have recommended to others to try out when they go in. I work about a block away and have always recommended this place to my customers, but this experience left me genuinely disappointed. It may seem like a small issue, but it was something I had really been looking forward to, and the refusal felt unnecessarily rigid and harsh. This evening, we were seated in the upper room - cozy and comfortable. The server was excellent, just the right amount of attentiveness. We received our drinks and food very quickly! The blood orange blonde was delicious and fresh tasting. The patty melt was a good attempt but simply too greasy. The caramelized onions, patty, and cheese were greasy enough but the rye toast was also soaked and you could visually see a sheen of oil/butter on it. Combined with the sweet potato waffle fries, it was just too much fried and greasiness. Normally, we love the food here. I would have preferred the dry rubbed wings, tacos, or regular cheese burger. We stopped at Four Day Ray to watch the Purdue game and have lunch. They have plenty of TVs and the environment is not too loud. We started off with cheese curds as our appetizer. They were good, and I liked the dipping sauces that came with them. As we kept eating, the bottom of the basket was filled with grease, making those almost inedible. I decided to order the nachos as my entree. The portion size of the nachos is massive. They are a bit hard to eat because they use shredded cheese then bake that over the top of the chips. You can't easily grab a loaded chip. The nachos were okay, I didn't think they had a ton of flavor and wouldn't order them again. Our waiter was attentive and the atmosphere is nice. We choose the menu from the hors d'oeuvres items...chips/queso, sliders, chicken satay, shrimp skewers, fruit platter, charcuterie board. The food was amazing! This time, when we went in for dinner, it was crowded and feels more like a bustling restaurant than the laid back casual place it is for lunch! We had a few of their beers (blueberry blonde is my favorite seasonal, but blood orange blonde rocks their taps year round!) We had the loaded tots which were great! They were really crispy and had all the toppings inside! Make sure you order them with the Mayo on the side if you don't want it on top! We also got a grilled chicken salad. T family was laughing at me for CLEARING my plate. Chicken was perfectly fried (not as crispy as the tots, but in a good way). It was also the perfect ratio of meat to salad.
