    Breaded tenderloin
    Mike K.

Danny Boy's is located in a nice area with lots of shaded outdoor seating. Service was good and really enjoyed our server Morgan. Beer was good- had the stout- food was just ok and nothing special. The tenderloin sandwich was average with the breading lacking anything that would make it memorable. If I come again, I won't order that again. While I typically don't like thick cut fries, the thick, Curley fries were actually pretty tasty. Nice seasoning and good crispy texture. The stout was memorable and would be worth another trip. Amazes me with that a business would hang a Trump flag in their place of business knowing that they will alienate 50% of their business. But it is their business, so to each their own.

I love this place! We came with a group of 8 for dinner and trivia night. They host trivia night most Tuesdays. First, let me say that the service was outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive. Other servers also checked on us periodically. We sat out on the patio and the hostess arranged for us to move inside when it started to rain. The staff is awesome. The patio is lovely along the tree lined quiet street. Locals walk over with their dogs and sit on the patio. We tried a number of different meals, I had Not Guuna Taco About It (taco) Salad with beef. Portions were large and the salad was filling. I also had a glass of the Danny Boy Dead Rabbit Chardonnay and it was good. My husband had the Wladimir Klitschko tenderloin sandwich and enjoyed it. The guys seem to enjoy their in-house brewed beers. Trivia night attracts a lot of families. The games start at 7:00 and ended around 9:00. We had so much fun that can't wait to return. Tuesday night also are special growler fills for only $7, so take your growler. There was plenty of street parking. The brewery is located inside of the Village of West Clay community. Danny Boys has it all, - fun atmosphere, great service and good food.

Burger and "fries". Yes they called these fries.

TL;DR. Go for the beer and drinks, not the food. I ordered a cheese burger (George Foreman) and fries. I got an overly salty cheeseburger burger with chips. I guess my definition of fries differs. The burger was fine, nothing special and over cooked. Two in our group of four got the tenderloin and said it was fine, lacked seasoning. My wife got the Cuban and liked it, but again served chips, not fires. They were out of the processed salmon burger and chicken. Out of chicken on a Friday night? Oof. I ordered a Diet Coke, and got one the first time. My refill was a Coke.

Thi is a neat brewery/bar in a residential area. I bet it is really popular with the locals. The food is your typical bar food, but they also have some good barbecue. There is a dizzying number of house beers and guest beers too. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable about their beer and liquor offerings.

The mediocre rating on this place is garbage. Beer is great, food is great, vibes are immaculate. Our server and bartender were attentive and sweet. 10/10 recommend giving it a shot.

Service is a bit slow when you get initially seated however, the wide selection of craft beers makes up for it. Truly some unique flavors such as ghost peppers, ginger and coriander, and blood orange. Can't wait to come back and try the food as well. There's also trivia every Tuesday!

Still an awesome local bar! Chicken tenders came and they were huge, accompanied by thick cut spiraled potato wedge fries. Fries were ok, but I'm not a huge potato wedge fry gal. Service is always friendly and attentive here. Their Mexicali beer is a nice light lager, plus they have all the classic domestics! Love the location of this spot in the village. Always feels welcoming!

Nestled in the middle of the Village at West Clay. It's a great place to enjoy a drink and a meal outside. Kids are welcome. I saw some dogs outside too. Parking is easy. The burgers are good. The Italian sandwich is delicious. I like the food we tried. This is our first visit and I'll be back to try more later!

Enjoying the patio with our favorite best friend!

The Goat - Just a Donald Trump head watching over the beer

For that reason, The Goat got in trouble by the city a while back, and was shut down for a time. But then it reopened, and now it seems to be minding its Ps and Qs, for the most part. You will know you're at The Goat when you see a big American flag flapping in the breeze outside of the restaurant. You'll also know you're at The Goat when you spot the Donald Trump beer tap handle at the bar. OK! They must really like the movie "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" here. There really is a place for everyone, and I somehow found myself in this place. But you know what? I got nothing but love (or like, really) for The Goat. My experience was great. The service was excellent. The beer, wine and spirits list was outstanding. The music they were playing was nice (heck yeah to whoever chose to play mid-90s Incubus, Bush and Marcy Playground.) I'm the type of person who goes to a dive-ish bar and orders wine, and the kind people at The Goat didn't even blink, and poured me a nice, generous glass. Fine, two glasses. If you're the kind of person who drinks bourbon, your heart will start beating faster when you step into The Goat. They have an amazing bourbon list. On Wednesdays, they do $12 pours of select bottles, some of which are $100+ per bottle. So, you can try out some top-shelf bourbon at a decent price. Mark your calendar for Wednesdays at The Goat, if you're into bourbon. My visit was just for drinks with a small party, and we didn't try any of the food. But we got a variety of drinks among us, including red wine, beer, straight bourbon and blueberry cider. They have a lot of different types of alcohol to please an adult palate. Speaking of adults, this place is 21+ only!

I'm told the late night scene is excellent for the 21-35 crowd. I'm typically there between 3 PM - 6 PM. My experience with the service has always been good. Be sure to follow their social media accounts if you're a whiskey connoisseur. They have some killer monthly specials.

I wanted something simple so I just ordered the chicken fingers combo with fries. The menu is very extensive with burgers, sandwiches, and entrees as well. The BBQ poutine fries were so big on the tray that I felt a little ostentatious as I was carrying the tray back to my table. It felt like all of the food on my tray surely should have been going to a family. But no: All of these BBQ poutine fries were just for one gluttonous person (me). Every so often, I would get an enormous fry that was way bigger than the others. It was more like a steak fry! It was like a little baked potato. It was nice to have that variety in the appetizer (which I was treating like an entree because, again, I was eating this giant appetizer by myself without shame). One of my children opted to get the kids meal here, which is the mac & cheese with a side (he chose fries). The mac & cheese is cavatappi pasta, so it's that pleasing curly texture that kids love (my kid loved it). The Den by FoxGardin is located inside Sun King Food Hall, and it's one of the food options you have here. If you are looking for pub food, comfort food, or just plain good food, you can't go wrong with this place.
