Brewlink provides an easy dinner location when we visit my inlaws in Indianapolis. In addition to being convenient, it's also a major hit with my daughter who can't get enough of their mac and cheese (which is likely just classic kraft mac if I'm correct). For the grownups though, they have a variety of beer options - from a well balanced scotch ale to a easy \-drinking hefeweizen with banana clove. They also offer a Downeast cider for cider drinkers. There's some standard brewpub fare, my go-to is the fish tacos but with a side of tater tots, both slap. The fish , probably cod, is crispy with a thin batter. The cabbage, pico de gallo and Baja sauce round it out. The tator tots are a perfectly crispy and savory accompaniment.
A pretty good brewpub to hit after the game.... Or instead of going to the game or just to have eats and a beer. Better than usual menu for a brewpub. Service was good..... parking on site.
This is a hidden little place in the heart of downtown that I would have otherwise missed if not meeting here with a group. We arrived right at opening for brunch for quick service. Our group of 8 was well accounted for and the kitchen worked quickly to accommodate all of us. It's a nicely decorated space and they even have their own parking lot! We came here as a surprise birthday brunch for one of our friends, and they allowed us to bring our own balloons and cake. I ordered... Brew Brisket Chili Mac and Cheese ($13): this is a huge bowl of Mac with all the works. Though I wish there was a little more brisket, it is surely packed with flavor and all the fixings. And yet, I found it to reach the perfect level of satiation for me. I don't remember all the toppings, so please forgive me there, but I think that it all culminates together very well. I love that I've found a new place for downtown outings! I will also say, at least at the time of posting, they have kept their prices fairly low compared to similar restaurants in the city. Another plus!
Criminally underrated and under appreciated brewery in downtown Indy. My review: you need to go here. Brew Link is amazing and not enough people are talking about it. The beers are great. They have so many good beers. They brew some unique flavors, too. And they work. I love their Marshmallow IPA. So many breweries stopped making wacky and fun beers after COVID. Brew Link still goes. Next... their food. The beer alone is good enough to mandate a visit, but so is the food. They have so many delicious smoked meats. I've had the brisket chili Mac and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were just amazing. They have a pretty big menu for a brewery, too. There is something for everyone. The service is great too. I have come with huge groups for Trivia and they do what they can to seat us together. All the wait staff is so friendly. It's very beautiful inside, too. There's a wooden modern look and you can see the brewing equipment through glass walls. 11/10 you NEED to try Brew Link. Great beers, great food, amazing staff, amazing vibes. GO TO BREW LINK NOW.
This was my first time trying this restaurant. My coworker told me about their tacos. Let me just say, these tacos were great. you have a choice between beef or chicken. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa. For dessert, we tried the chocolate chip waffle, à la mode. It's a waffle dessert that's taste like a cookie. It's semi-hard & semi-soft and crunchy. Personally, I think the dessert was okay, however, if you try the dessert I'd recommend you try it with a glass of milk.
For only my second restaurant visit since cancer surgery, I joined fellow Yelp Elite Wanda M. after a clinic appointment for which she provided transportation. I'm still fairly limited in terms of mobility and really only get out when someone else is providing the transportation for now. Brew Link is a 2-location brewery with the first being in Plainfield, Indiana. This location has a much broader bar selection and took over the spot from another brewery. I'd never been here prior to today and was anxious to snag a Yelp review and also just plain get out of the house. There's parking on the side of the building, though for wheelchair users the only entry option is at the street entrance. You can technically get in the door on the side, but there are steps to get to the actual dining area. The ambience is what I'd call urban industrial with a touch of kitsch. Many of their beers have fun names and there are entertaining graphics at different places throughout Brew Link. There is a family friendly area for dining. There's also a bar area that is 21+ and it's clearly marked. During better weather, they do have an outside patio area. Once inside, all but one platformed area is accessible - however, most of the actual bar is high-top. Brew Link does have an extensive alcohol menu, though they do also serve soft drinks and both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. The food menu is fairly typical for a bar, though it's also pretty extensive. I'm not being too adventurous these days due to my health changes, though I did eat a bigger meal than usual these days by ordering their Brewhouse Classic Burger with tots. The Brewhouse Classic is your basic cheeseburger, though I was able to order it without cheese without getting a dirty look. The burger was cooked to order, medium well, and was a hefty chunk of beef. I really enjoyed this burger. The tots were also delicious. It was a healthy sized order, though not decadent. I was full, though not completely stuffed. The atmosphere is loud, though Wanda and I were able to enjoy a conversation without difficulty. She's somewhat of a regular here and was far more familiar with how things worked. Our server, I believe his name was Angelo, was top-notch. He was attentive without being intrusive and quite personable. I actually did use the restroom while here - in terms of accessibility, the entry door is rather heavy. However, once inside it's pretty roomy with a stall that has three grab bars. There are also two urinals. I found it mostly accessible, though those with a weak upper body may struggle and larger chairs may be a bit more challenged. My lightweight manual chair was fine. I'm not quite willing to go five-star, though this was a super solid 4-star experience and quite pleasant from beginning to end. There's no doubt I will return.
What a fall from grace. This place used to be amazing. The new kitchen can't cook a burger to save their life. Last 5 or so times, were either served raw meat or a shoe. I brought it up several times, but it falls on deaf ears. No apology, discount, or offer to remake it. They served us raw ground beef I had to eat around. See for yourself.
Nice spot to hang out with friends, get some food, and try some new-to-us beers. I appreciate the free parking (lot) especially since we were downtown. Shout out to our server on her third day. She was great! Favorites included the fried pickles and Ivory - a white stout!
I live only about a mile from this gym and had no idea it existed. I was having some work done on my car down the street and came in for a little work time and some lunch. I ate at the bar. The bartender was helpful with selectionsand was friendly to talk to you. The is big and inviting with a fireplace that was not on as it was nearly 80° that day. I had the general tso cauliflower and a chicken salad that the bartender suggested I order grilled as opposed to crispy. Served with a delicious honey mustard dressing, the two items were a perfect blend for a rather large lunch.
3.67* (out of 5) Food: n/a Atmosphere: 3* Value: 4* Service: 4* 10/21/2023 We were staying downtown along the canal and this place was near the bus stop where we got off to walk to the place we were staying...so of course we had to stop for a flight to sample their beers. It was right at closing time, but the owner and server were gracious enough to pour us a flight (see picture of mine). I found each of the beers in the flight to be above average to my tasting, so will definitely return to try some more on a future trip. They also offered a Sunday morning brunch which sounded very interesting, but we decided to get to the Colts game early, so didn't have a chance to try it on this trip. While the tap list is relatively short (see picture), each of the beers they offer are unique - full of character and great flavor. We came for just a drink, but we will absolutely be back for food as the menu looked incredible. Our server was friendly and made our experience highly enjoyable. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day out but the indoor setting was hip and modern. Can't wait to come back! read more
I don't just give out FIVE star reviews! Brew Link Brewing really knocked it out of the park for us! The food was amazing, they have a full bar AND though I'm not a beer drinker, they did have VERY delicious brews! Our server/bartender was awesome. He greeted us right away and took great care of us. I was so excited for the Mac and cheese MENU I mean, come on, a whole section of Mac n cheese?! I got the Brewpub Brisket Chili Mac; I asked them to add mushrooms and leave off the sour cream. The Man got the BBQ pulled pork burger and a side of Mac n cheese. We also got some flights of beer. The flavor in everything (beer included) was perfect and exactly what you'd want. Beers in order of our preference: 1. Liquid Fruit Cup 2. Blueberry Donut Sour 3. Raspberry Donut Sour 4. Nuttercup 5. Ugly Little Spud 6. English Toffee 7. Pretty Pretty Awkward 8. Ivory read more

I can not tell you how many times I have driven past this place and thought about trying it, and now, I wish I would have sooner! The inside of Brew Link is so cute! It is more of a warehouse style building, but they have dressed it up with fun colors, cartoon graphics, and so many plants. There is plenty of seating inside and a nice sized bar. There is also a nice little patio next to the parking lot that would be nice in the summertime. My friend and I came at lunchtime, and I was surprised by the number of people there right at opening. We had great waitstaff one of whom was in training and the other who helped us so much with the confusing discount we had. They were so patient and helpful! I had the Mac and Cheese Burger, and I was very pleasantly surprised! I was expecting it to be more of a novelty kind of dish, but the burger and the Mac and cheese both had great flavor and went together well. However, the real star of the show were their fries! If you have read any of my other reviews, you know that I am a sucker for some good fries. These fries at Brew Link are high up there on my list of best fries in downtown Indy (10/10). I cannot wait to come back (preferably in the evening) so that I can get some more fries and try their brews (breweries just don't hit the same during the workday haha). read more

I stopped in for a late lunch with a couple of friends and glad to discover this place existed. It's a nice little brewery located downtown with free parking and a short walk from the canal. Being the non beer drinker that I am, i was pleased to see other cocktails and a cider option on the menu. The cider option(which i believe was seasonal) was good and i also had the Beyond burger and fries. The burger was just a Beyond patty, no extra fluff or seasoning added but the beer battered fries were very good and with the fries as good as they were, i have high hopes for the tots. There is a nice little patio area for the warmer days and a the playground area of the canal is nearby if you dine with littles and wanna let them burn off some energy. read more

I had no idea Brew Link Brewing started in Plainfield! I know exactly where the old location was. They have a newer location further down the road. This was my first time to any of the locations. They have a lot of great offerings. I debated between the Black and Blue burger and the southern fried chicken salad. I chose the burger and the fries that come with it are excellent! Crispy and you get a lot of them. They have great ranch that they make in-house. Using that to dip the fries in is good! The southwest egg rolls are also great. They had trivia going when we arrived. It seemed like it would be fun to play. This is a place where you could get something different every time you go there because it all sounds good and the other food I saw going past me looked great! read more

Looking for a quick bite to eat on our way from Louisville to South Bend, so we decided to give this place a try. Great brew pub vibe and decor. My husband and son both had a Mac and cheese dish, I had the carnitas protein bowl. Great presentation and very yummy. Paired that with a fruity IPA. Very happy with both. Probably won't be back in Indy any time soon, but I'd definitely stop in again if I am. read more

Mmm i miss eating out and having date nights. Very glad we picked Brew Link Brewing for our stop. The service was on point and our server even went out of her way to fulfill a request for my husband because it was a special night for him and she delivered! Completely flipped his day into a great one. I shouldn't have been as surprised as i was at how good the food was since I've been here awhile back for a Yelp event but i was delighted. Everything was tasty. My favorite was the pork taco on the trio taco plate i got. My husband opted for the black n blue burger and i couldn't keep my hands away from the fries. If we ever find ourselves downtown again, we will easily make our way here. read more
Oh emmm geeee!!! Omg!!!! Don't walk, run!!! This food was so yummy. The menu was so large, lots of American food options. There's a special everyday of the week. I feel like I should be talking about the beer since this place is a brewery, but my mouth is just still watering typing this. The beer is just an added perk. There's a pretty large parking lot which I feel like is really nice downtown. It's kinda in an odd spot so I feel like they deserve your business since it won't get as much hype as some of the centrally located downtown businesses. Table Favorites: MAC N CHEESE!!! read more

Really enjoyed our dinner here. There is a patio with ample seating, and the inside is open with plenty of TVs if you are a sports fan. The Hoosier Lemon Shake-up is delicious, light, refreshing, and sweet. For dinner I got the avocado chicken wrap that included a cumin ranch sauce, which was a great addition. If I could choose one thing to change it would be shredded pepperjack cheese instead of thick pieces in the wrap. The Mac & Cheese side was creamy, the flavor mimicked beer cheese which I was here for. All of their burgers look delicious, but my boyfriend opted for the BBQ one with tots. We had great service from Dawn and we'll be back! read more
Stopped in for a beer and found on there menu Killer Avocado fries, deep fried golden brown served with a spicy jalapeño ranch dip, these were amazing. I had a flight of beers flight as well two IPA's a scotch ale and a Pilsner, all very good. They have a menu full of tasty food and the staff are very friendly and provide great service. Definitely a must stop on any downtown brewery tour. read more
My friend and I decided to try Brew Link because of the great reviews. We're really all about trying places that have great wings. I can't say that I loved the wings but they weren't terrible. They were lacking some flavor and maybe it's because they're smoked. But I'm not sure. I got half Buffalo & half garlic Parmesan (which I hated) but they exchanged for the sweet Asian ginger. Those were much better. All in all great service! And if we do go back I'll try something different read more

Absolutely a great place to go for food and beer. I ate here two nights in a row while in town for business and really liked it. Maybe the best burgers in town as well. The dessert is amazing as well! read more
If I could give another half star, I would. They almost get 5 stars because you can grab good food and some beer on a Monday when a lot of places are closed. After a doctor's appt which ran more than an hour late, it was nearly 3 by the time we got here for lunch. Brewlink was open in the spot that was formerly TwoDeep Brewing. Still looks similar and has the convenient parking on the north side of the building, with easy southbound access on Capitol Ave. I decided to go with a flight of 4 (most are $2 per small glass). Each of the brews I have had at their other locations have been good, so I didn't even ask for tastes, but just made my decision off the tap list menu description. I was quite pleased with all four choices. And they had a nice lunch menu to select from. My wife got a Beer Mac n Cheese with Chicken that had a good flavor (but the chicken was a little dry if not dipped in the creamy sauce.) I ordered the Beast Burger which has Bison, Elk, and Wagyu beef which kept it from being dry. The fries on the side were really good too. So a solid 4+ on the food. My wife has some mobility trouble and even though there were just a few steps down, they don't have a central handrail for stability which would be a great addition. (they do have one along the wall though.) I didn't ask about ramps though, so I don't know what their plan is for people who have even more mobility issues than we did. Overall, we really liked the place and would recommend it if you want to avoid the crowds of downtown and near the convention center but not be too far away if you were going to do something later. Looks like they may have some outdoor seating in warmer weather too. Give them a try if you don't feel like driving all the way to Plainfield to try their beer. Review #3892 read more
A great place to chill and eat good bar food. I ordered the Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad with a side of fries. The salad was a hefty portion size and the salmon flaked right off. The fries were crunchy and amazing! I will need to come back here to try some more food. Their most popular food items seem to be their nachos, burgers and fries. They have great local, hand-crafted beers that pair well with the food items on their menu. There is a type of beer for anyone who decides to come here; from hazy to hoppy to IPAs, their choices are diverse. I was not in the mood for a beer with my meal and ended up getting a spicy margarita, which was good! read more

Tried to give this place a couple chances. It's a decent sized space for being a restaurant right near the golf course. But you see it yourself and when you walk in expect to wait a few minutes before anyone approaches you to serve you. The first time wasn't that bad just took a few minutes to get a server here and there. But the second time with Cameron, it was like he was completely oblivious that he even had tables to wait on, consistently forgot to bring things we asked for multiple times, and then charged our card $17 - not $7 - for the tip we left so make sure to always check your receipts from here. Food is alright but service, or lack there of, kills the vibe. Would definitely consider this a last resort to go to if you don't have any other options in the area. read more

Great place!! Seven of us and everything we ordered was delicious. We could tell when the food hit the table that the cooks really care about sending out great food. Waitress was beautiful lady that took very good care of us. Thank you. read more

Food was tasty, loved the shrimp tacos and the salsa was great. Got the margawheata beer and it was really unique and lime forward. Service was prompt and the waitress was great at helping us pick what to get. Bummed that they don't have the southwest eggrolls anymore, those were bomb. Great spot with outdoor seating and a parking lot, will always revisit! read more

Brew Link provided a very calm and welcoming environment from the music being played on the jukebox to the variety of greenery spread around the restaurant. There are also TVs all over the walls along with advertising for the local beers they have on tap. The darker lighting provided a relaxing atmosphere for all the customers and made it more comfortable right when I sat down. Right inside the main entrance was the brewing area with the beer tanks visible to the customers just to display the local beers on tap available directly from the restaurant. The staff were approachable and positive as they showed me to the table and made it easier to walk right in the door. The wait staff was timely in getting our orders in and the food came out in a relatively short amount of time and was around regularly to check on the meal and provide refills. It seemed like there weren't a lot of people working the night I was there, but the staff provided service in a timely manner and were pleasant to interact with. I ordered the Bacon Mac & Cheeseburger with tater tots as the side and a Brunch Punch cocktail and the whole meal was very tasty! The cocktail looked amazing with bright orange and red colors in the drink, but the flavor was even better and is exactly the drink I was looking for. The burger tasted good with the white cheddar mac and cheese going well with the bacon topping and tater tots were the perfect side. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a local spot to enjoy a variety of locally brewed drinks and tasty food options while being surrounded by good music and enough tv screens to watch multiple games at once from anywhere in the restaurant. read more
Brew Link on Capitol is the 3rd stop in Indy by the Indy Wing Club. We try to sample a variety of wings at each location while balancing what we think sounds the best vs what the staff recommends. Therefore we all thought the traditional dry rub with Alabama White Sauce sounded great, so we ordered those. Then we took the recommendations of our waitress by going with Mango Habanero and Asian Ginger. The wing sizes come in 1 lb orders which equates to roughly 7-8 wings. The wings are smoked then fried and have great flavor, they are also falling off the bone while you are enjoying. The skin could be slightly crispier, but it was not a major turnoff while eating. Explaining each wing experience: - Traditional dry rub has a good amount of dry rub covering the wings and unlike other dry rubs we have experienced these did NOT need a sauce to combat the dryness. The were juicy and flavorful in their own merit but the white BBQ was a great pairing. - Asian Ginger was a good amount of flavor and tasted different enough from a traditional teriyaki bath that most restaurants do to save time and effort. They are a little sweet and the sauce is thicker, and the ginger spice could be a bit stronger, but overall the have a good flavor. While not as enjoyable as the dry rub, they are worth a try. - Mango Habanero is a sauce that the waitress said was her favorite. When you hear Habanero you think spicy, but there is no spice with these in my opinion. They could use an additional kick to balance the sweetness of the mango sauce. They were fine, but they didn't have a flavor pop that really stood out, so they were the flavor we would not order again of the 3. Ultimately after tasting all three we all enjoyed the traditional dry rub with Alabama white the most with Asian ginger being our second favorite and mango habanero being our third favorite. While this is primarily a beer place the wings and the avocado fries are worth a try for those who love bar food. Stay tuned for the Indy Wing Clubs future wing reviews and Happy Yelping! read more

We went here on Wednesday trivia night and ordered nachos, a salad, pulled pork, pretzels, boneless chicken wings, and a ton of beers. The server was kind and knowledgeable. The appetizers came our quick and the entrees came out after trivia started. There were 21 teams (which is a lot). Unfortunately, the women's bathroom paper towel dispenser did not not work. Otherwise, I had a great time with my group and will definitely return. BUT if you want a box and need to get out ASAP I would recommend elsewhere read more
Was real happy with our quick stop here. My husband and I both enjoyed our beers...Lucid and Lil Lucid. The dry rub smoked wings were bomb. Don't miss out on the Carolina BBQ sauce! Fries and ranch dressing were also great. Solid brew pub with some good food and a lot on the menu! Lots of space for bigger groups too! We'll be back! read more

Is the downtown Brew Link location kid-friendly (good for under 21)?
Yes, I have seen kids and families at Brew Link. It is a family oriented environment. You will be fine bringing your children.
