I stopped in for a late lunch with a couple of friends and glad to discover this place existed. It's a nice little brewery located downtown with free parking and a short walk from the canal. Being the non beer drinker that I am, i was pleased to see other cocktails and a cider option on the menu. The cider option(which i believe was seasonal) was good and i also had the Beyond burger and fries. The burger was just a Beyond patty, no extra fluff or seasoning added but the beer battered fries were very good and with the fries as good as they were, i have high hopes for the tots. Oh my god I cannot say enough amazing things about this place!!! I held a birthday party here and they were so extremely accommodating and wonderful! The catered food was Mexican-inspired and the flavors did not miss! And that means a lot since I grew up in Southern California. The drinks were also amazing and the space was nice, open, and airy! I had no idea Brew Link Brewing started in Plainfield! I know exactly where the old location was. They have a newer location further down the road. This was my first time to any of the locations. They have a lot of great offerings. I debated between the Black and Blue burger and the southern fried chicken salad. I chose the burger and the fries that come with it are excellent! Crispy and you get a lot of them. They have great ranch that they make in-house. Using that to dip the fries in is good! The southwest egg rolls are also great. They had trivia going when we arrived. There's a good amount of space--you can usually find a table! 5. Right be a Red Line stop so you can zip to Broad Ripple, Fountain Square, or wherever your next place on your crawl might be (let them be your designated driver). I recently learned about this place, and stopped by with some friends. The location and interior are really nice with plenty of space! However, the beer was not my favorite. I tried around 6 different beers looking for one I liked and I didn't find one that was good. I'm not a beer snob, I'm relatively easy to please. Most of them were really flat and had unpleasant flavors. Our server was nice but didn't know the menu super well. I didn't get food, but some of the options for food looked good, it's worth trying. My friend and I decided to try Brew Link because of the great reviews. We're really all about trying places that have great wings. I can't say that I loved the wings but they weren't terrible. They were lacking some flavor and maybe it's because they're smoked. But I'm not sure. I got half Buffalo & half garlic Parmesan (which I hated) but they exchanged for the sweet Asian ginger. Brew Link provided a very calm and welcoming environment from the music being played on the jukebox to the variety of greenery spread around the restaurant. There are also TVs all over the walls along with advertising for the local beers they have on tap. The darker lighting provided a relaxing atmosphere for all the customers and made it more comfortable right when I sat down. Right inside the main entrance was the brewing area with the beer tanks visible to the customers just to display the local beers on tap available directly from the restaurant. The staff were approachable and positive as they showed me to the table and made it easier to walk right in the door. The wait staff was timely in getting our orders in and the food came out in a relatively short amount of time and was around regularly to check on the meal and provide refills. It seemed like there weren't a lot of people working the night I was there, but the staff provided service in a timely manner and were pleasant to interact with. I ordered the Bacon Mac & Cheeseburger with tater tots as the side and a Brunch Punch cocktail and the whole meal was very tasty! The cocktail looked amazing with bright orange and red colors in the drink, but the flavor was even better and is exactly the drink I was looking for. The burger tasted good with the white cheddar mac and cheese going well with the bacon topping and tater tots were the perfect side. Still looks similar and has the convenient parking on the north side of the building, with easy southbound access on Capitol Ave. I decided to go with a flight of 4 (most are $2 per small glass). Each of the brews I have had at their other locations have been good, so I didn't even ask for tastes, but just made my decision off the tap list menu description. I was quite pleased with all four choices. And they had a nice lunch menu to select from. My wife got a Beer Mac n Cheese with Chicken that had a good flavor (but the chicken was a little dry if not dipped in the creamy sauce.) I ordered the Beast Burger which has Bison, Elk, and Wagyu beef which kept it from being dry. The fries on the side were really good too. So a solid 4+ on the food. My wife has some mobility trouble and even though there were just a few steps down, they don't have a central handrail for stability which would be a great addition. (they do have one along the wall though.) I didn't ask about ramps though, so I don't know what their plan is for people who have even more mobility issues than we did. Overall, we really liked the place and would recommend it if you want to avoid the crowds of downtown and near the convention center but not be too far away if you were going to do something later. This is a brewery out of Plainfield that opened location downtown in old two deep brewing space by cultural trail. Definitely a much needed use of space in a very underutilized area of downtown. Beer pretty good. Some of the brews, specifically the white stout were unique. Many beers are largely average though still good. I'd put brewery contents above average as a whole. The food on the other hand is right at average IMO. For Plainfield area, food is likely very much above average but does not measure up to some similar foes in downtown area. This place has it all; friendly and welcoming staff, great beer and food, and a well-designed space that doesn't have you shouting to be heard by your table mates. We sampled 3 beers and all were fantastic; the Peelin' Allright was especially good. The Mediterranean Sliders were outstanding, as was the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Brew Link on Capitol is the 3rd stop in Indy by the Indy Wing Club. We try to sample a variety of wings at each location while balancing what we think sounds the best vs what the staff recommends. Therefore we all thought the traditional dry rub with Alabama White Sauce sounded great, so we ordered those. Then we took the recommendations of our waitress by going with Mango Habanero and Asian Ginger. The wing sizes come in 1 lb orders which equates to roughly 7-8 wings. The wings are smoked then fried and have great flavor, they are also falling off the bone while you are enjoying. The skin could be slightly crispier, but it was not a major turnoff while eating. Explaining each wing experience: - Traditional dry rub has a good amount of dry rub covering the wings and unlike other dry rubs we have experienced these did NOT need a sauce to combat the dryness. The were juicy and flavorful in their own merit but the white BBQ was a great pairing. - Asian Ginger was a good amount of flavor and tasted different enough from a traditional teriyaki bath that most restaurants do to save time and effort. They are a little sweet and the sauce is thicker, and the ginger spice could be a bit stronger, but overall the have a good flavor. While not as enjoyable as the dry rub, they are worth a try. - Mango Habanero is a sauce that the waitress said was her favorite. When you hear Habanero you think spicy, but there is no spice with these in my opinion. They could use an additional kick to balance the sweetness of the mango sauce. They were fine, but they didn't have a flavor pop that really stood out, so they were the flavor we would not order again of the 3. Ultimately after tasting all three we all enjoyed the traditional dry rub with Alabama white the most with Asian ginger being our second favorite and mango habanero being our third favorite.
