Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad

Love this place! The vibe was immaculate, and the salads were some of the best that I've had in Indy! The wrap was kind of average, but overall still huge portions of food for the price and was very happy with both the service and the food :)

Went here with my family. Food was ok. The best part was the French fries... those were good! My husband said the mac and cheese burger was just ok. My sister and I got the beer cheese steak and we didn't love it. The barely filled the sandwich. More bread than filling. Which was disappointing because this place isn't super cheap. We probably wouldn't come back since we don't live close by. We all liked the French fries!

My husband and I had a night out and we started at the tap. It was great weather outside so we decided for outside seating. Our table outside was high chair seating, it was pretty comfortable. We shared fries and steak meal, delicious. The tap fries are famous, if you haven't tried it you're missing out. Our server Sarah was super sweet and knowledgeable about the tap. I asked her for recommendations on drinks and she was spot on. I ordered the strawberry mule forever and it was so refreshing, perfect for the type of vibe. Nice seating outside, great weather Sever Sarah was super sweet and knowledgeable about the tap, I asked for recommendations and she was spot on, the strawberry mule forever was wonderful so refreshing, perfect for the type of day. They were playing a various mix of music outside.

I came in during the weekday lunch time and it was super friendly and quick service. We arrived just a little before the lunch rush and were seated quickly. Our food did take some time but everything tasted on point. I ordered the chicken fajita bowl which was a perfect portion with the right amount of rice, chicken and veggies. It could have used a kick with maybe a dab of salsa.

It's a bar so you go for bar food and beer. They do both well! I like to bring people here if we're bar hopping or they want to try some different beers. Now that Indiana has happy hour I would recommend to go and try their small bites. They always rotate their speciality cocktails as well. On certain days and times they have a DJ. On a nice day sit in their patio and snap a pic at their green wall.

The tap is an excellent spot for a beer and some bar food! There are a ton of options to choose from, and there's definitely something on the menu for everyone! Highly recommend the mac and beer cheese and the tap tots, they were delicious! We also happened to come in on a Trivia Night, which was so much fun! Service wasn't great, our server messed up our checks, but overall we still had a great experience!

This was my very first time coming to this sports bar, and I was so impressed from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was energetic but comfortable -- the kind of place that makes you feel right at home whether you're there to watch a game or just hang out with friends. A huge shoutout to Tony, my server, who made my first visit truly memorable. He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. His positive attitude and great service gave me such a fantastic first impression that I already know I'll be coming back! If you're looking for a spot with great vibes, good food, and outstanding service, this is definitely the place to go and ask for TONY!!!

There's quite a lot to choose from when it comes to food in Downtown Indianapolis and I often find myself in the mood for a good burger and here at The Tap they absolutely have some great food and especially a good burger in their Beer Cheese Burger. I will say that the burger was quite good however I didn't feel like I received a big enough portion when it came to their fries. The parmesan garlic sauce they come with is very delicious however this is one instance where the portion size for the fries was simply not enough. The environment here is quite loud especially if you're visiting on a Friday evening such as this particular trip I went on. The Tap does offer a rather large selection of beer and other beverages to choose from, lots of seating as well inside and out so no problems there. The service was excellent especially for a very dinner service. I definitely recommend coming and checking out The Tap as it makes for a great place to come with friends and have a few drinks or watch a game and especially if you want to dine outside on a nice evening.

The best ever. I am usually a domestic light beer drinker. This place is the best brewery I've been too for a few I loved. "Social" lager and the "Beardliner" Weiss were crazy light and perfect. Wow!! And all the employees get along and seem to be happy. Cool place. Fun people.

Dope spot. The Google reviews are all about the beer, which is tremendous, but the pizza is great…read moretoo. I got a pepperoni and sausage pizza with hot honey and it was awesome. The pizza is kind of small though. It will fill two people or one person if you have portion control issues. They serve Narrow Gauge draft beer out of the St. Louis area and it is dynamite....a little pricey though. They had a barrel aged stout called Duality on draft and it was GREAT - one of the best beers that I've ever had and I don't usually like stouts. You can order cans or bottles of some of the beer to go. The bartender did an A+ job and she was delightful. I could have talked to her all day. There were five other people at the bar and all of these strangers just started talking to each other and becoming friends. It was pretty cool.

Good Pizza and Craft Beer at a Small Indianapolis Taproom…read more Across from Goose the Market at the corner of Delaware and 25th, this spot is one of those places you're happy you found and want to tell your friends about. The vibe is relaxed with music piped through, and a couple TVs in case you want to watch sports or a movie while sipping your beer. The food is legit, and the tap list delivers. Let's start with the pizza. They've got all the classics--cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie, BBQ chicken, buffalo--but the creative pies are where this place really shines. The brisket pizza with Alabama white sauce is interestingly good, and the pepperoni, basil, pesto, ricotta, hot honey pizza is next-level amazing. The house-made dough is dialed in and ties everything together beautifully. Pair that with a draft beer and you're set. The taproom regularly pours a good lineup from Narrow Gauge Brewing Company--IPAs, stouts, lagers, plus at least one fruity sour. Personal favorites include Atlantic (an English-style barleywine) and Galaphobia (milk stout), but you can't go wrong with a DDH IPA, Lining the Walls Hefeweizen, or the flagship OJ Run. Not in a pizza mood? The giant pub pretzels with beer cheese and mustard are perfect for sharing (or not ). Or grab an order of house-made breadsticks with garlic butter or homemade marinara for dipping. We've gone a few times and most recently during their Darkest Beer Days event. And it did not disappoint--an awesome way to celebrate the Winter Solstice with great dark beers and guest taps. I appreciate that they highlight not only Narrow Gauge, but also other Midwest breweries like Streetside Brewing, Butchertown Brewing, Maplewood Brewery & Distillery, and Transient Artisan Ales at this special event. Bonus points: the owner shared that they'll close the taproom for private group events, and if your crew likes pinball, there are a few machines to keep things fun between pours. Definitely worth considering! Fantastic food, great beer, creative events, and a nice atmosphere--this place is an absolute win. We'll keep coming back (and bringing friends) and hope to see this place do more events in the future.

The Fowling Warehouse Indianapolis - Tables and darts

The Fowling Warehouse Indianapolis

(69 reviews)

Recently visited Fowling Warehouse for a work team building event. I had no idea what to expect…read more Parking was a bit of a mystery. There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.

Fowling (noun) fowl-ing: The hunting or trapping of wildfowl…read more Google "fowling definition" and this is what you'll find. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing! Please note: No birds were injured during the writing of this review.
