This laundromat, bar, arcade is awesome. Black Circle did it right. They have a bar with their own distilled spirits. Cocktails are about $10 each. They have a few washers and dryers, 3-4 table top arcade games, and about 10-12 pinball machines. The drinks were top notch and not too pricy. The pinball was fun. It's definitely a cool vibe!

Bring your dollars for quarters! Machine is fussy

Our laundry room is currently under construction, so we thought this was our chance to check out Loom to do some laundry! Wash cycle - $4.50 Dry cycle - $0.25 (you'll probably need to run the dryers a few times). There is a machine where you can get quarters for the machine. The machine is finicky though--so bring several dollar bills to try out! Took us about 20 tries haha! The inside space is pretty dark and cozy. Sound definitely travels (the patrons at the bar were super loud and it made it hard to have a conversation with the person at your table. I would have done four stars if it weren't for the obnoxious, loud regulars. Didn't get to try the food since that starts at 5pm--but they have some sodas and ciders in addition to the beer options from Black Circle Brewing. There are also video games here to keep you entertained while you are waiting on your laundry!

What a freaking cool spot to have in Indy! These people made sure that doing laundry did not have to be a daunting task folks. I wish we lived in the area otherwise I would be here all the time trying to escape my husband and toddler for a drink on the excuse of washing socks!

So we started the evening off at Half Liter BBQ, and not wanting the night to end we were searching for a nearby place to imbibe in some *after dinner drinks* Loom was 1.4 miles and less than 5 minutes away so we decided to roll the dice on yet another new place. I think we got there at about 7 pm on this Thursday. I AM SO GLAD WE DID!!! It was right next to GoldLeaf Savory & Sweet on E. 46th street. I'd been to GoldLeaf before, and it was really easy to recognize THAT because it was on the corner...but we did drive past Loom before we realized it was literally right next door. After we turned around there was lots of street parking on the side streets. When we walked up there was a nice patio area, and it was a beautiful day so it was full with happy people chilling, talking, having drinks, hanging with their dogs. Upon walking in I was immediately in love with the vibe...lava lamps glowing on all the window sills, cool murals painted on all the walls, a game system set up and ready to go in the corner for any gamers wanting to the competition on. There was a small bar but 2 awesome attentive bartenders who seemed to be more than adept at their jobs. A few small tables were scattered about in addition to the bar seating and there were two clean unisex bathrooms at the back of the room. I don't think they could accommodate a big crowd or a huge party by any means, but for the small crowd that wandered in and out it was perfect. To the left when you walked in the door there was a wide hallway. On one side there were two sit down Galaga games, on the other side was a wall of 4 industrial size washers and dryers stacked on top of one another. At the end of that hallway there was another small room full of bright pinball machines, two small tables for just 2 people really, and a sit down Ms. Pac Man Arcade game. The pinball games were great! It seemed to really be geared to the Gen X generation which fit me (49) & my husband (53) just fine. There was a RUSH pinball machine (my husband is a big fan), a Beatles one, a Simpsons one, Halloween (the movie), Ghostbusters, Mandalorian, Godzilla, Star Wars, Legend of Valhalla, Robocop & FooFighters. My husband was immediately drawn to the Ms. Pac Man so once we sat down there we didn't get up until we were ready to leave. It didn't cost anything to play and the entire time we were there no one else even walked into the gaming room so it wasn't crowded and you didn't have to feel anxious about hogging the machine. I loved the murals in the game room! It was like an industrial kinda cityscape nighttime vibe and it had cool white stars hanging down to make it even more three dimensional. The mural of the sexy stormtrooper was also fun and well made. The pinball area had cool blue lights so it created a comfortable laid back environment, the washer/dryer area had red lights, the bar area used white. Really cool how they used the lighting to help define the spaces. It was $2 off any cocktail night so we saved $6, AWESOME. I didn't really look at the menu (QR codes on the table), I just asked the bartender to surprise me and keep bringing me rum drinks! Didn't have a single one that I was disappointed in. They also had a big selection of beers & legit food if that is what you were looking for (the smash burgers looked LEGIT). I wanted a t-shirt because I thought the washer logo with the olive was nothing short of genius and I like to support small businesses. The bartender had to search a bit because the stock seemed to be stored in boxes hear and there but he didn't seem the least bit put out by finding the shirt I wanted in the size I needed, so that was great. Our bartender said Loom was owned by Black Circle Brewing down the street. He encouraged us to try that bar out in the future and maybe listen to one of the bands play, so I'll have to add it to my list! I had such a great time! I love the idea of gaming bars but honestly they are usually so loud, crowded, and overwhelming that I can never confront my anxiety and pull the trigger. I especially love that they were quality pinball machines and arcade games, and not broken down knockoffs or *new* games I am not familiar with. If I were in my 20's and lived nearby this would be a weekly thing I am SURE of--throw in some laundry, have a drink, play some games--WHAT IS NOT TO LOOOOOOVE?!?! Two thumbs up Loom! Awesome concept, awesome decor, awesome bar--AWESOME cubed.

This is such an awesome concept -- a bar, a laundromat, and a place to game with friends??? -- OF COURSE! Walking in you notice right away all of the awesome art and the chill / fun vibe of the place. They have a full-service bar w/ beer on tap, clean facilities, and all sorts of games (from Pinball to board games to gaming consoles). They also sell CBD water which is awesome! Be sure to check this place out soon!

    Lava lamps too!

Great location! I was at the Indy Art Museum and riding my bike home along 46th and these Lava lamps drew us in. Wow, what a neat little place. Mainly a beer joint, but they have laundry machines as well! In the back room are free sit down video games and some pinball machines (not free). When our dryer broke, we just threw it in the van and brought it over here and had a drink while it was drying. Big machines, clean.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Derrick is champ. Jesse is a boss. You brighten up 46th street. Thanks!

How much is laundry? And is it cash only or does card work too?

Washers (large, front load) are $4.50. Dryers are $0.25 per 8 minutes. There are 4 of each. Coins only, and there is a change machine right by the washers and dryers.

I visited on a weekend eve and there was a lively group of gents at the bar, as well as a couple folks in the pinball room.

My husband and I decided to do our laundry here, as it was one of the closest places near our AirBnB rental while we visited Indianapolis. There are rows and rows of washers and dryers and all of which were working, none were broken. All washers and dryers are coin operated (taking only quarters). There is a coin machine available for those that don't typically carry coins. There is also table space available to fold your clean laundry. The washers we used (it seemed like there were 2 different types of washers, with different price points) cost about $2.25 per load. The dryers (again different dryers with different price points) was about $0.25 for every 5 minutes. Surprisingly some of our clothes (not jeans though because you know how it takes a long time for those to dry) was dry after 5 minutes (like socks, underwear, a few shirts, etc). Laundry, per load, can be costly but just depends on how long it takes to dry your clothes. It actually may be better to dry your clothes over 2 dryers instead of trying to put all of them in one dryer (especially if you are washing jeans/ denim). My husband and I came here on Monday, July 4th, around 6:45 pm (lol, I know that doesn't sound exciting to do on Independence Day but at least the place was pretty empty and quiet and we benefited from the free air conditioning. Also I'm not a big fan of fireworks, like I was when I was a kid). There was only 3 other parties doing laundry during the time we were there. We figured it would just be easier to wait for our laundry instead of drive back and forth. Please note that there is a clean restroom in the back with the essentials (toilet paper, running water, soap, paper towels) in case you need to use it. There is also free WiFi and I did end up using an outlet on the wall to charge my cell phone while I was waiting. There are a few chairs that you can sit while you wait for your laundry. The employee was in charge of the place was friendly. During our time there, I did see her clean a row of washers. She had told us and another gentleman who came in, that she was going to clean this row of washers and so they will not be available for use at the moment (but you could use the many other washers, which there are plenty, in the meantime). Overall, I am happy that we had clean clothes after being on our vacation for about a week (I prefer to wash my clothes while on vacation and also come home with clean clothes because that really makes all the difference after a vacation. For this reason, I travel with dry laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets. Please note that this laundromat does have a coin operated vending machine if you need to purchase detergent and dryer sheets) and would visit this laundromat again if I was staying in the same area.
