I received a gift card in a gift basket so I decided to take my boys here for a mid afternoon drink and snack. We absolutely loved the weird mural on the side of the building. That was our first clue that this place was a little different than your average coffee shop/café. My son got a Matcha drink with coconut milk and I got something with ginger and coconut syrup. It was heavenly I highly recommend it to eat. One of my sons got the pimento focaccia with ham and my other son got the breakfast sandwich. I enjoyed an everything cookie, which was the best cookie I've had in a long time. The lovely server helping us recommended my drink, and it did not disappoint. There was plenty to look at on the walls with the artwork and the beautiful plants. My favorite was the goose with the wig and bikini. It was a quirky hip vibe and even without a gift card I would come back here 1000%.

The amount of plants inside here makes it really comfortable and relaxing. I grabbed a coffee and sat for a while, just taking it all in. The staff was friendly and patient with my indecisiveness, which I appreciated. The coffee itself was great, and I actually liked that they had metal music playing, it was a fun contrast to the calm setting. I'll definitely be back.

Such a cute place to stop and have a quick bite. The service was "walk-up" counters where you order your food and drinks. They call out your name once your food is ready. Definitely a foodie spot! Loved their variety of flavors on their menu that you don't typically see in other spots as well as their tea selection. I got the vanilla apricot and it was to die for. I also ordered the Italian focaccia bread sandwich which was a refreshing mix of deli meats, olive spread, a hint of rosemary, and olive oil. Inside there are paintings and prints from local artists, a vast variety of fun eclectic decor, and beautiful plants surrounding you. Overall very fun spot but I'd enjoy it much more on a quieter day when there aren't 3 different events at the fairgrounds.

What a cool place tucked in the near north side of Indy! I came here before a hair appointment for a quick bite to eat and coffee. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and maple latte. Both were absolutely delicious!! The staff was so nice and the general vibe of the place is cool because you can make it what you want. A place to work, a place to read, a place to have a lunch with friends, whatever! Highly recommend

Absolute vibe, GoldLeaf is frequently on coffee lists - even the controversial ones. The lists are usually high on GoldLeaf and in my opinion this is correct. Delicious drinks, easily a top 5 shop in Indy. Decor and environment of the place take it near the top.

Cutest little spot! I was meeting a friend so we picked out this restaurant since it's right in the middle. Never been there, I walked in and was so happy with the decor, atmosphere and welcoming staff! Parking lot across the street and lots of comfy spots to sit in. Welcoming of the LGBTQIA community and your own individuality, it was such a great spot- could've skipped the death metal music, but I know I walked in, it was different, and a little more relaxing while people worked on their computers or had earbuds in. Enjoyed the breakfast burrito and love their chai latte - and they do offer substitutions! Hope to return!

This cute little coffee shop nestled in Indy gave me all the feels. The coffee was actually really good too, I loved all the plants ! And the service was really pleasant. I would recommend eating inside, this type of coffee shop makes you want to sit in it for hours !

Visited GoldLeaf for the first time last week and everything from the friendly service, to the local artwork + plants, and lastly quality coffee.. it was such a great way to start the day! I always love places that inspire creativity and this one did just that! There were a few parking spots in the back and street parking. I look forward to coming back again and hopefully trying the food!

This is a neat little place in the neighborhood! I got the black bean burrito which was pretty tasty. I enjoyed the hot sauce selection - they had like 10 different local/unique hot sauces to choose from! I also really liked the outdoor seating. Lots of choices. Right on 46th so not super quiet but still a nice option.

Alert the media - I finally tried their famous burritos and... it was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. I got the breakfast burrito which has potatoes, onions, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, egg, flour tortilla, and tomatillo salsa. You can also add sausage or cream if you'd like. I opted for it with sausage and sans cheese. It was incredibly, y'all! They make it from scratch (and allow for modifications since it's made fresh) and the tortilla is grilled to perfection. It's so hot and incredible. Those potato chunks thooooough. I also got a Simplicity Green Blessings juice and loved every sip.

Met here for a work meeting, there were 6 of us and were able to push a couple tables together to make it work. You order at the counter, they have a small menu but some really healthy items on it. They will call your name for you to pick it up. They also have lots of coffee, latte, tea options which is what it seemed most people there had. Many people were working, and sitting solo. They had music playing but it wasn't overly loud which was nice since we were there for a meeting. The place feels very warm with all the natural light and plants around. The pricing seems reasonable for what you get and in line with other coffee shops. There is free parking all around the building so no worries there.

I drove by this place all the time but decided to stop early Saturday morning and get something quick because I was on my way to work. I went with the breakfast burrito with no meat. It was seasoned potatoes, eggs, and cheese. I wish it was a little bit bigger, but it was delicious. They had a nice list of menu items and an on duty barista. So I would like to go in have coffee next time.

It's a friend for coffee and she suggested Goldleaf. I had never been before but am so glad I got to visit! The first thing I noticed was how adorable the building is. I love the logo painted on the side, the lights and overall feel walking up. Second thing I noticed were all the plants . I low key wanted it to be a combination flower shop/coffee shop haha. Very homey feel, even when it was super busy. I just got a house coffee and a breakfast sandwich but it was fantastic and the service was even better. It's not super close to my house but when I'm over this way, I will most definitely be stopping in!

This place is all wine, all the time. I'm not even sure they offer any other adult beverage! As a consummate wine fiend, I didn't even consider any other kind of drink, because I don't need any other adult beverage other than wine, you feel me? I love Solely's commitment to wine. They have wine to drink, and also, the walls are lined with bottles of wine. Just don't touch them! If you see an interesting bottle, don't take it off the shelf. Just tell the people at the counter about the bottle you're interested in, and they will help you. I wasn't in the market for a full bottle of wine during my visits -- just a glass. Solely Wine specializes in "unique, low-intervention wines from passionate small producers," according to their website. So whether you buy a bottle or get a glass, you know you're drinking a thoughtfully chosen wine. I had a glass of the Grenache Syrah blend and the Cab Franc, mostly because I rarely see these kinds of wines offered in the wild. They were both delicious! My only comment is that the pour is very small. The Cab Franc especially felt like it was maybe 4 ounces! I have weighed my wine at home, so I know roughly what a typical wine pour (5 ounces) looks like, and this felt like slightly less. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my wine! And the ambiance is killer. During the day, Solely is a cool place to grab a glass of wine and hang out. It's super close to the Monon Trail, too, so you can just bop over and get a cheeky drink. During the nighttime, the lights are lowered and the ambiance is very romantic and intimate. A great place for a solo drink, and a great place for a romantic date night.

I also love that they're connected to an art gallery, it really adds to the overall experience. I came here for a Yelp event and had an amazing time. Inside, the space is peaceful and inviting, with comfortable seating, games to play, and lots of natural light and live plants that create such a relaxing vibe. The owner was incredibly helpful. I wanted to try a wine flight, and she guided me through selecting options based on my preferences. The wine flight comes with four glasses and is about $24, which felt a little on the expensive side. They accept cards and also have a rewards system (which I definitely signed up for). There's a wide variety of wines, from dry to sweet, so there's something for everyone. I really enjoyed my flight. There was one red (Gamay) that wasn't my favorite since I tend to prefer sweet to semi-sweet wines, but I've been trying to expand my palate, which is why I love the option of flights. It also said it paired well with pizza, so maybe if I was eating that, it would be better. I enjoyed browsing their wine selection for purchase. I really admire how everything is well organized and easy to explore. They sell Stellar pretzels which I've had before and are so good, but solely had cinnamon dolce flavor that I never had before, neither had Kiara, so she bought some and I got to try the them (thank you Kiara!), they tasted just like a churro, so delicious, like a dessert! I can definitely see myself coming back here with friends or even just to enjoy the space and unwind. Such a great vibe overall.

Keagan Fife (Manager) - A team player, receptive to feedback and conscientious. We had a issue while there and he was able to step in and problem solve with me and come up with a solution that really won us over. We had a moment where it was feeling a bit "why did we come here" but his customer service exceeded expectation. That's good management. (He's the gentleman in the video below.) Let's get the negative out the way 1st. The first waitress asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told her we hadn't received menus. She came back sat them down and walked away. We never saw her again. A new waitress came and she seemed pleasant enough. Once we were all seated she began to take our orders. She made a point to say she needed to write it all down or she was get it mixed up. She then did not write anything down. Our food came out extremely slow but that wasn't a huge deal because we all were mingling. A lot of her team had to step in and deliver our food, give drinks, check on us etc. She was pretty non existent. Two of the ladies never received food. This was after we had been there for 2 hours and everyone else had received their items. At the end when we asked for our check they were all mixed up and confused. The waitress then blamed us for adding things and moving around. We never moved once and she only came around the one time when she originally took our orders. We never got a chance to add things. (it was quite comical that she tried to say that) I ended up asking for manager because she seemed overwhelmed and a bit bias about our group. Assuming that we wouldn't want one check and splitting them because she figured we would want it that way and then blaming us because she did it when we never asked for split. There rule is parties over 8 have to have 1 bill and we never asked for an exception. There was just her assumption that a group of black women wouldn't want to do that. (I digress) There were a few more things but I will end it there. That was the big negative. Now the positive!!! Ambiance 10/10 - great views, great music, great location, umbrellas on roof were great although a but wobbly and scary. Also, they come around with complimentary sunglasses while dining. I thought this was a nice and luxurious touch! Food 8/10 - most food received was delicious Service 9/10 - everyone except for our server was great! Everyone who pitched in to help was awesome! Ended up tipping a different server who basically helped us the whole time. Bless his heart because I know he was super busy. As stated above management handle the situation well. I would definitely go back! I try to give people a chance. I think our server may have been overwhelmed and had a past experience that left her bias against our group but hopefully she can grow and get better. Her actions don't reflect the restaurant as a whole! Go and enjoy the vibes and views!

It's a very small kitchen where all the action happens, which is very impressive for a restaurant their size. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Most ingredients were locally sourced and staff highlighted the importance of souring fresh local ingredients with every dish. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.

The nuts were old, and there wasn't much of a lemon vinaigrette and balsamic drizzle leaving the salad kind of tasteless. There were three kinds of oysters available and they were exactly as described. They tasted fresh and presented well. Unfortunately the mussels we ordered were the opposite of the oysters. It had an unpleasant odor, the mussels were rubbery, and there was not much flavor in the chili broth with butter and beer. It appears these were overcooked.
