Cauliflower crust pizza

I want to like this place, because I really do like the Big Woods restaurants. but this location needs some work. The entry is not very inviting & the women's restroom is downstairs in a dark hallway. Our service was good. The waiter was friendly and our food was mostly timely. So that was a plus. The food was ok but needs some work. Our pretzel (appetizer) had a hard shell that crumbled away a bit. I guess I'm used to softer pretzels. My meal was a cauliflower crust pizza with marina, chicken, real mozzarella and arugula. I paid about $1.99 each for the last 3 toppings, so my 10" pizza was about $17. This might have been fine with good toppings, but the chicken was sparse, the "real" mozzarella was very sparse and scattered throughout regular shredded mozzarella (which I hadn't expected and the arugula was baked with the pizza. I pulled off the burnt pieces of arugula. I've had arugula on pizza several times and it is always added fresh after the baking. To top it off, my crust was way overcooked. I've attached a picture of the 2 pieces i brought home. Please adjust the preparation of the pizza.

Another yet awful experience! Food cold after a 20 min wait .. for a salad.. charged adult price drinks for kid meals - server was exceptionally rude - mainly because I was in a T-shirt and sweatpants and not business attire ...

Now I can say I've been to all three Big Woods locations following dinner with family over the holidays. Franklin feels like the smallest of the three (comparing to Speedway) but still has the same vibes as if I was drinking at the cabin in the wood Nashville HQ. What I like about all three is the menu is the same for drinks and food and it's not a bad view for the daytime/evening since it sits at Hillview GC. All of their flagship/seasonal beers were on tap, so of course I went with a flight for my drink (including my go tos Six Foot Strawberry Blonde & PB Knuckle). And then helped my mom consume her Bahama Mama cocktail she didn't particularly enjoy. I thought it was great! I changed up my food order and got a personal pan pizza, and no regrets with that! Service seemed super slow here. Was a little painful to endure with and trying not to compare Franklin to Speedway to Nashville. Hopefully just an off-night.

Broke open the burnt shell and tried to eat the dried out fish and rock hard foes!

OVER DONE FISH & CHIP! I was told the kitchen Is using a different batter that's why they came out dark! BS!!! I was told I could order something else but I had a taste for fish and chips so I tried. Well never again! Luckily the beer is pretty good. Also tried one of their own Bourbon they make. Two words, Battery Acid. So so sad...

This place is a decent little spot. Interior is cute, and the road you have to drive up is cute. The food isn't worth more than a 10 minute drive. We got a few appetizers to share and were a bit disappointed. The nachos weren't very good, especially since the shredded cheese they use only covers the top of the nachos. The cheese bread is just not worth the money; very clearly reheated and not very tasty. For the entree I got the Mac and cheese with steak tips. The steak was great, but the macaroni and cheese was quite bland. It actually tastes exactly like the Mac and cheese from the kids menu. If I had known that I would have just gotten the kids meal! For dessert we had the Italian crème cake which was tasty, but again did not taste like it was made from scratch. They have a nice variety of different beers, which all were great! Would not come again unless I had a gift card or was already in Franklin.

Poor excuse for steak street tacos. Because they were out of steak and still served them to me.

Wife's Mac n cheese dinner was cold. My steak tacos had no steak and then they told me they were out of steak. Only the drinks were good. Server was nice

Not the quickest due to the kitchen being slow, but the beer and the food was excellent. The service was pleasant and responsive. Loved it.

What are the beer prices?

About $6 if there is no deal or discount. Flights available at 4 5oz pours of Quaff On for $10.50 or pick any 4 for $15. I had no trouble getting a couple of tastes in order to choose my pint, so I'd go that route.

It didn't impress me enough to become loyal customer. There are so many pizza places to choose from in the south side area that after awhile you just end up settling on a few faves based on your own experience and your personal taste preference especially as far as the quality of the food . I decided to try Noble Romans as a change of pace recently and met a friend at the Franklin location for lunch because she lives close by. We went recently around noon on a weekday. I was really surprised we were the only ones there except for another table. That's pretty much the way it was the whole time we were there the whole time. We decided to get a personal pizza and the salad bar option. I always like a good salad bar. Their salad bar was lacking quite a bit. They needed to put more lettuce in the lettuce bin and the lettuce that was in there was not looking very good and was basically empty in the pan. I asked if they could replace it or add some more. She did that, but instead of replacing it, all she did was dump new lettuce on top of the old stuff. The rest of the salad bar just didn't look fresh. Their choices were not as vast compared to other salad bars that I've been to. The salad dressings were varied and OK or acceptable, When our pizzas came out, they were just OK as well. For some reason, they threw too much sauce on the top of my pizza which was kind of strange and I had to scrape much of it off. I can honestly say I was a bit disappointed with our visit there and I probably won't go back. Our server was nice for the most part. The establishment looked clean and overall atmosphere and decor was pleasant enough. We went recently around noon on a weekday.

Tonight, we started our adventure with a couple of drinks - Rum & Coke, and a Leinenkugles draft. For an appetizer, we selected the jalapeño pepper cheese cubes. Thin and crispy crust with deluxe toppings, add pepper rings and black olives, and cooked to perfection. Overall we had a visit and meal, complimented with the best server Whitney. Service was a little slow, but it was crowded & they were short-staffed so we were patient & enjoyed visiting with our friends. The food was SUPER SLOW...not just ours, but most of the tables around us too. One table nearby left before their food came. After waiting about 35-40 minutes I asked the waitress if we were close to getting our food. She said she had ckd on it & it would be here soon. I asked if we could get some fries or something while waiting & she said ok- but she never brought them. It was prob 75-90 minutes that we waited on food. NOT great customer service! When it finally came out-our food was really good! Our group of 4 had a ribeye steak sandwich, an egg salad sandwich, a grilled chicken salad, & a grilled chicken pesto sandwich. Everything tasted great. I would probably go here again, just not at a busy time. The place is beautiful & we love the atmosphere. It just wasn't a good experience this time. If they would've given us a free appetizer or a discount on the bill, that would've been helpful.

My husband's mule was super sweet and hard to drink. My Hi Lo was awful, I couldn't even force it down! We ordered an appetizer that I forgot the name of, it had cheese and tomatoes with small garlic toasts. It was good, but 6 small pieces of toast, one that had a hole in it, didn't do much. This app definitely needs a few more toast pieces to make it worthwhile. We ordered pizzas for dinner, one margarita and one suprema. They were good, but waiting over an hour for pizza is absurd! Service was terrible and so slow! The restaurant was not full by any means, yet service was at a snails pace. We decided to order dessert, so we got the tiramisu. It was good, but definitely made in a factory and cut into pieces when ordered.
