    Beer & patio
    Samantha D.

Great patio, food & beer were delicious. The beer was in a stemmed glass that I enjoyed. Pizza was delicious. Not pictured is the godfather pizza with hot honey which my husband devoured.

This place was a STANDOUT at a recent Indy Track Event (Rev 2026) amongst a sea of other eateries. Soooo I went here to the brick and mortar in Bargersville. The pizza isn't good- it's GREAT. The staff are very sweet and on top of their craft. Kayli was a really great server and Athena was a great bartender- their drinks compete with their pizzas- really well thought out. Go!!!

Overall, good food, crappy service. Made a reservation for six of us. Arrived on time for our reservation, and had to wait ten to fifteen minutes for our table. Waitress greeted us. My biggest pet peeve for anyone working in food service is fake nails- they are disgusting, and I don't want whatever is up under them to get in my food (as you can guess, our waitress had them). We ordered our foodand drinks. Drinks came out quick. Man, they packed a punch, and agree about the "libations" name. Food on the other hand, did not. Waited quite a while for our apps. Our entrees took over an hour to come out. Mozzarella sticks for appetizer were okay- looked like frozen ones out of a box with some parsley and cheese over them. Short rib ragu was tasty- if I ever came back, I would get it again. Definitely could tell it was homemade pasta. Overall, expected more from this place, as we have had good experiences at other Taxman restaurants, but probably won't return here.

Our group of six visited on a Saturday night. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. The decor of the restaurant is sophisticated, but the dining room seems to be quite loud where we felt like we were yelling at each other all night. We started with some drinks and the mozzarella sticks and wild mushroom bruschetta that came out rather quick. The bruschetta was quite tasty and was a large portion. We had ordered two pizzas and two pasta dishes as a group. After about an hour after we had had our appetizers and other diners clearing out of the place, they brought out an orderof meatballs, as they were just starting to prepare our pizzas. The were four meatballs for six people which I found odd. I get that this was complementary, but if you're apologizing for how long our food is taking, why would you not bring one for everyone at the table? The pizzas and pasta finally came. I tried the That's My Jam. It's a sweet pizza so I found it tasty. Overall, this restaurant is quite a ways out of the way for me, and with the amount of time our food took, I probably won't be back.

Waitress was little slow but everything else was good. We will be back. I do wish the pepperoni garlic bread had more garlic

Due to self-imposed dietary restrictions, I hadn't had pizza for 11/2 years and decided to get back to "normal" just for a night. I heard great things about Pizza & Libations and decided to roll the dice. My girlfriend and I started out with the Meatball appetizer. It was freshly made and served with garlic toast and a wonderful Marinara sauce for dipping. Superb!! Next came the pizzas. Being a glutton it seemed like a good idea to get a couple pies to mix things up. We got "The Godfather" which is red sauce Mozzarella, Asiago, Ricotta, and Italian sausage. Very strong combo. In addition we ordered the "Sweet Heat" pie that had Red sauce, Calabrian chilis, Soprasetta, Banana peppers, and a great cheese blend. Marvelous!! The pies are hand tossed and my guess is they use "00" flour which is pretty high in gluten to give it a very toothsome pull while still being light and airy. After dinner we ran to their annex and got some Gelato that shouldn't be overlooked! The service was on point with everything as management insists on quality service instead of allowing other things to take precedence. The ambience is quite nice with modern industrial as the setting for the dining room. We are bar rats and choose to sit there when possible. Surprisingly the bar stools were quite comfortable and not an afterthought as most are. The bar was busy with fellow diners all night. Bargersville isn't probably on your radar for pizza but absolutely should be!

Delicious beer from Taxman, of course. We ordered The Godfather pizza. Delicious! Crust was crispy on the outside with delicious tender crust inside. Seriously great pizza! We'll be back to try more!!

This is a nice, new, hip spot located in Bargersville. It is owned by Taxman Brewery, which is located just around the corner. It is a trendy spot that has a huge dining area, a huge patio and a full bar with seating as well. There is some nice murals on the ways and they can host large groups here. There is a parking area across the street from the restaurant and there is also some free street parking available in front of it as well. They have a huge menu with salads, pasta, and of course pizza. They have a thick drink menu with signature cocktails, wine and beer. The place was packed and I was still able to be seated right away. My server was awesome. She was very helpful, attentive, and friendly. I ordered some meatballs to start off with. They come 4 to a serving and was very tasty. I got a sweet heat pizza and a Fior De Latte to wash it down. It took about 15 minutes for the pizza and they forgot about my drink so, it took the bar about 10 minutes to make it after being reminded by my server. The pizza did not disappoint. It was very tasty. I will caution you though. It had a lot of heat to it. Very spicy, but still very good. The drink was unique. It had a jalapeno taste, but was still sweet. I really enjoyed my meal here. This is a hip new spot in town and is definitely worth a visit. I admit that it is a bit on the pricier end, but well worth a splurge date night.

Excellent new addition to downtown Bargersville. Biggest tip right now (November 2022) is make a reservation! Giving a little grace here for a new opening and everyone still getting their bearings, but really no major hiccups other than some longer wait times - but it's well worth it. Good selection of wine and beer and some craft cocktails - my chocolate martini was excellent. This restaurant has close ties to Taxman Brewery, so you'll see their beers on tap. Pizza itself was so good. You can build your own or choose one of the specialty pizzas put together on the menu, but be warned you can't split them. My wife and I have very different taste, but we were on our way to a concert so neither of us wanted to get whole pizza to ourselves without somewhere to put leftovers. We settled on the buffalo chicken, which was excellent. I'm not a big fan of crust, but I couldn't get enough of this. Only complaint here is that I wish there was more chicken--it's a little buffalo and ranch heavy for me. Really looking forward to coming back here, especially when it warms up and they open the patio space. Definitely going to be one of our favorites.

Stopped coming here because the pizza never seemed to be cooked thru. The dough wasn't cooked, and was definitely doughy. We gave it a shot again today, and this was the result Had to it in the over just to get it be cooked. Pro:staff is amazing and the decor is nice

We came to P&L for the first time on a whim. we have been to Taxman several times but decided to try their pizza place. We are glad we did!! The pizza was fantastic. The crispy potato's with banana peppers were so good. The Mac & Bolognese was decent. The noodles were too Al dente for my taste, but over all the food was good. It is a large space. It was busy because they were celebrating their one year anniversary. It was loud, but that wasn't a problem. We found a seat at the bar, so there was no wait. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is the service. When we sat at the bar, it took more than five minutes for anyone to even greet us. Now, when Tony finally saw that we hadn't been helped, he was on the spot the rest of the night. I recommend this place for good pizza, mixed drinks, and taxman beer!

This was a birthday gift from my kids and, to be honest, I was apprehensive but now that I've done the class I'm a complete convert! It was fun, educational, and of course tasty! Hotel Tango is a local distillery, and this was our first visit. The building is unassuming, but once inside it was a beautiful space with plenty of seating, lots of drink options, and a cool 'vibe' even for those of us who don't frequent bars/distilleries/breweries. I could see myself hanging out there sipping on a bourbon and chatting up the bartenders or other patrons either inside on a comfy couch or out front on the patio. But that isn't why we were there. For my birthday, the kids got us tickets to attend 'Tango U' which is a somewhat frequent offering at HT. The class was made for 8 attendees, and included background information on the distillery, spirits in general, and in depth looks at two drinks. Our class did a traditional Old Fashioned Cocktail and a drink called 'Orange is the New Wack'. We learned about proper technique, why drinks are made the way they are, and more. Mark (our bartender and/or Mixologist) was fantastic. He told stories from the industry, was a great resource on spirits and drinks and such, and answered what seemed like hundreds of questions from all of us. He made the class enjoyable and educational. The Old Fashioned was our first, and upon completion we had time to enjoy our drink and chat with others in the class as well as Mark. It was a very 'spirit forward' drink (look at me with my fancy new terminology) so you could really taste the rye. Not my usual choice, but good nonetheless. I made it, so it had to be so. After the class enjoyed a break to sip and chat, we started on the second drink and learned additional techniques, more about liquor and made a 'sweeter' (my term) drink which was more my style. I admit, I could have had three more of them, and probably twice that if I was sitting on the beach somewhere sunny. When the class wrapped up, we were allowed to hang out and chat, ask any more questions, or head to the bar and order something else to try. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it. I'm not a huge drinker, nor do I geek out over cocktails and craft beers, but it was fun, and I'd do it again for sure. 5 stars for the bar/distillery itself and 10 stars for the class!

This bar screams "crawl inside me, throw off your coat and stay awhile". The low lighting, exposed brick, local clientele and fun menu top it all off. 2.) For my fellow smokey cocktail drinkers: I recommend the Mexican Sunrise with grapefruit juice, Mezcal and a kick off spice. Note: they also have a decent selection of bourbons and local beer on tap and by the can. 3.) I can't stop thinking about the homemade ricotta bacon jam with sliced baguette. All thoughts of eating healthy were swept aside when this dish rolled out. "Healthy who?" 4.) I'm always advocating that beets could use more representation on menus (besides in salads...). If you're a fellow beet advocate, I'd give the pickled beets with whipped goat cheese and sliced almonds a try. 5.)
