If you like lots of toppings, this is the pizza for you!! My mom saw a recommendation for Gallagher's on Facebook so we decided to try it. We called in a carryout order and it was ready in 15 minutes. They have curbside pickup but we went inside so I could check it out. They have two entrances - a bar and a family dining- but it's all connected inside. We picked up our order at the bar and the staff were really friendly and quick. The pepper jack cheese balls were amazing! The pizza has a ton of toppings which I initially thought would be great, but the cheese/toppings kept coming off the pizza with each bite. I had the veggie pizza and the toppings made it just a little watery. The veggie had banana peppers which is not usually a topping that comes on veggie pizzas but it was definitely good. It wasn't the best pizza I've had but it was good. The crust was crunchier than I like and all the toppings made it just a little watery. I liked that they have 7" options so we could all get our own pizzas with our favorite toppings. They have lots of outdoor dining and a ton of TVs inside so it would be a great place to catch a game. read more

This used to be Mc'Q's! I've been meeting friends here for a few years now. Same ol' local bar with mediocre food. Nothing really new with the management change. They did add a few new items on the menu but that was about it. The stuffed breadsticks were good, cheese balls are always a good idea, and the wings had barely any sauce on them. If you order the wings, ask for extra sauce. Service isn't that great but they do try. This is a great place to meet friends on the Southside. Large tables in the back. There was a group playing poker when we were there. There is a bar section and a family section. So it is OK to bring your kids, just stay on the family side. I'll definitely be back to meet friends but don't think I would come out of my way to come here. read more

Not enough sauce!! Sausage tastes like a fundraiser pizza. Way too much cheese, too. Crust tastes manufactured. We'll never go there again.

Great service and pizza! We're we're there for a surprise birthday party and the staff was very attentive, making sure the pizza , drinks and breadsticks were always replenished. Very good pizza! My wife and I ordered the sink on the New York thin crust! Absolutely delicious! It was the best pizza we've had in the last couple of years! Same great pizza, new location. SO glad that Gallagher's opened a location closer to me. I've have ordered pick up several times from this location and the service is always friendly, and the food is always fresh (I am picking it up though). If you've never have Gallagher's pizza then you should get in today. Especially if you're a person who loves lots of toppings or you're doing Keto. The crust is super thin and they pile on the toppings. I suggest the sink. It's piled high with everything and the sausage is the ground kind that's in every bite. One amazing pizza place. To some it might feel that where this restaurant is located is probably just meh. But don't think so. They have some regular good pizza to offer. This place is everything that you'd expect it to be. A local bar that serves basic food that is done fairly well. The pros: the prices are reasonable, the food is good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is fairly welcoming and comfortable. The cons: only seven beers on tap. 5 pilsners, 1 ipa, and Stella. No beer list available to see the bottle selection, and no WiFi. Also, the thin crust pizza is listed as "New York style". This is not the case at all. It is good, but most definitely not New York style. If you are looking for a simple no frills place to eat or hang out with friends over a beer, this may be the place for you. But for me, the lack of beer diversity will make this my only visit here, even though the food was pretty good. read more

I've been hesitant to post a review because this is a well known staple on the south side and who likes to post a negative review?! I used to frequent the previous establishment McQs, but left angry each time because service was absolutely horrific (no real fault of the servers themselves) and I'd find myself spending 2 hours just to eat a salad. I was excited when Gallagher's took over. I was hoping the food would remain similar but service would change. My first visit I was oh so wrong. They definitely don't implement a FIFO type of ordering. I had a salad that took 1 hour 15 minutes while my whole table ate pizza among other meals and were done long before my salad arrived. Somehow an order of cheese balls were never put in and a girl next to me arrived 45 minutes after me and received her salad in 5 minutes. I joked that she stole my salad. I swore I wouldn't eat her again because being gluten free, my options are still quite limited mostly to a salad. Then it happened, a meeting was scheduled here last night. I got there early because I wanted to be able to eat and not wait forever. I couldn't believe it - my salad and my daughter's food came quickly and our server frequently visited our table to check on everyone (including the 5 others who later joined us.) The salads are actually quite delicious. The cheese balls are a favorite of many. The bar has been updated more since I was last in and it looks like a totally different place. I recognized my server from my last visit (as she waited on my sister) and I could tell she had improved in her service skills as well. I'll be back sometime and maybe we can move up to 4 stars. Keep it up Gallagher's! ETA: as promised, I said I'd be back and would update if necessary. Had another meeting and the spot was Gallagher's again. They weren't extremely busy, which is actually shocking. We had 3 servers at any given time bringing drinks (or offering), bringing food and cashing us out. Food came out quickly. I am sorry to say it's not like the original Gallagher's that was off stop 11 and Emerson. I put it up higher the the original ordinary in Wanamaker Please restore the old pizza's. I would gladly pay more for the great pizzas that used to be. read more
