My buddy Joe and I stopped in for a large cheese pizza and split it -- and we were not disappointed. The pizza had that classic New York-style flavor: thin crust, perfectly melted cheese, and just the right amount of sauce. It hit the spot. What really made the experience stand out was the atmosphere. The entire place is decked out in sports memorabilia -- everywhere you look, there's something cool to check out. From Yankees posters to framed jerseys, it felt like you were walking into a little corner of NYC right in the middle of Indianapolis. Great vibe, solid pizza, and a fun spot to hang out. It's not five-star fine dining, but for what it is, they nail it. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving a true New York slice in the Midwest.

Combo meal from food truck Combo includes slice, two knuckles, drink for $13(?) Sauce was $2 extra which is pricey but it was a good size

They have a food truck that comes to the statehouse market downtown on Thursdays until 1:30pm. I got the combo for $13 ($15 w/ side of ranch) as this was the best deal versus getting things separately and includes a slice, 2 knuckles (both are HUGE) and a drink. I'll definitely be back next week! Only "complaint" (which is not their fault) was over-ordering not realizing the size of the items. The pizza was very filling and I never made it to the stix and was stuck transporting them around all day in the original "plate" which eventually soaked through the bottom. I'll be back next week- and with my own carry out container. Slice alone = $8 regardless of the type of pizza you get 2 knuckles = $4 Drinks =$2 Condiments =$2

Walked through the door and immediately was greeted with fantastic aroma of pizza. The place was hopping, but we weee seated immediately. The menu has a selection of pasta and pizza. A lot there to like. Also they have cannoli! Always take the cannoli! Go with an appetizer or salad. They sell alcohol too, so give yourself some time. Great place to bring a date, your grandma, your pals, or all of these people at the same time if you really want to have an interesting time.

Conveniently located in the strip mall across the street from my hotel, I had to try this New York style Pizzeria. Service was very quick and friendly. Awesome old school photos of the rat pack, Harlem, 5th Ave, etc. I got a slice of 34th Ave which was Huge!! The crust was amazing. Crispy , fluffy, delicious. We shared an order of fried mushrooms. They were fried to a perfect golden brown. I think the batter was a little thick so it was a little much but the mushrooms were a good texture not mushy. Happy to have stopped in!

Must try for all vacationers, they do deliver as well. Amazing pizza, perfectly cook. The mozzarella sticks were on par as well. 10/10

Holy crapparoni, Batman! The moment we set foot in this place I could envision the greatest food I've ever had... and they didn't disappoint! The servers were super attentive and kind. The garlic knuckles... Mio Dio! The table had eight... in the blink of an eye there were scarfed down and people had looks of sheer ecstasy on their faces... then the pizza came out... and Santa Maria Madre di Dio... transported to pizza heaven. And the cannoli... un bacio dello Spirito Santo! This place has me thinking that I need to move to Indiana.

We had a large party dine in on a Sunday night and had a really wonderful experience!! The food was so so good, really wonderfully prepared and delicious. The portion sizes are pretty outrageous - 2 orders of the breadsticks and 3 20" pizzas were way too much for 15 people, but in the best way. We opted to have our pizzas party sliced (16 slices instead of 8), which worked wonderfully for our party. If you dine here, you HAVE to try their house-made ranch. Oh my word this was INCREDIBLE! One of the best decisions to have some of this alongside our breadsticks and pizza for dipping. We all agreed we would be coming back here because of our positive experience and because of how yummy the food was. Thanks Brozinni!! My experience with ADA was also decent! I have a medical alert service dog and had a relatively normal experience at this restaurant. I called ahead to let them know my party was coming, and they were very professional in handling it. They do not take reservations. I arrived first so I could get situated at my table (as getting a dog situated at a large table/booth can sometimes be a challenge), but unfortunately they were not willing to seat me early until others in my party showed up. Despite having the table ready, I had to wait by the door with my dog until a group of my friends came in. It was a bit of a struggle for me to get myself and my dog in our corner booth with everyone else there, moving the chairs around, etc., hence why I got there early to do that. It was a bit of a flustering moment, but that's just life & the world of ADA. But generally they handled having my dog & myself there positively which is good. Could the accommodations have been better? Yes. Were they good overall? Yes. Overall, thankful things went smoothly :)

Absolutely phenomenal pizza, extremely filling and worth the price. I came in for no expectations and left a huge fan. Also, the beer on top is a good selection.

slice is huge! #yum #ReviewsByRL

As an east-caost / PA girl, I love me some good NY style pizza and garlic knots! Ours was from their food truck downtown during the Olympic Swim Tirials (June 2024). Huge slice a drink and garlic knots for only $7. Hot, Delicious. Perfect amount of grease (in a good way!) on the pizza (#iykyk !) and a nice amount of garlic with the knots. #yum #ReviewsByRL

The crust is no where near NY style crust. It was doughy instead of a thin crisp crust. Sauce had no flavor. Was very disappointed.

Our service was appropriately paced for the time it takes to make a Chicago deep dish pizza. I liked the TVs they had in the center of our dining area, which had some pre-season football coverage. The booths have taller partitions so it feels more intimate. I also liked the marquee saying "EAT PIZZA". I will certainly follow instructions there! The pizza we got was "The Special": sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. I thought the pizza was fine, my only thing about Chicago style is that the vegetables can't caramelize like they would on a regular pizza. But that's just a personal opinion. I am pleased with the range of mocktail offerings, which are all $7.

No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. Just remember to come hungry and you'll guaranteed to leave happy! See you next year Giordano's!

I have to laugh that my first review for this location of Bazbeaux, an Indy pizza icon since 1986,…read morewas actually my 300th Yelp review. Now, I'm over 1800 reviews and Yelp has become a huge part of my life. I was attending a nearby event related to Indy Shorts Film Festival and decided I wanted to visit Mass Avenue a bit once the event was over. This was early afternoon. After looking around a bit, I opted for a long-awaited return to Bazbeaux. Of course, a lot has changed in this area in the last few years. Parking prices are up (way up), though it's pretty plentiful with nearby street parking (metered) and parking along Mass Avenue. You also have a couple nearby parking garage options. Finding an accessible spot is fairly easy - curb cuts remain solid in this area and there continue to be some (but not all) crosswalks with audio. As was true nine years ago, accessibility on Mass Avenue can be challenging. That said, I think it has improved. I entered Bazbeaux and immediately noticed some improvement right away. There are two sides - a dining side, a bar side (with tables), and an aisle you can use for carry-out. The interior is warm, calming, and surprisingly intimate. The bar area is a bit louder, it's a bar area after all, but it's still pretty quiet. Service here remains strong. The hostess offered the bar area or a booth. Tables are not all wheelchair friendly, however, there are quite a few accessible options. My server, Samuel, was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. He paced my meal nicely - I ordered garlic bread, my usual unsweetened iced tea (I think they still serve Mighty Leaf - an unusual choice that I love). I ordered a small (10") pizza with one-topping (pepperoni). I lingered a little bit, though not excessively so like my last visit. This time around, I was alone and my meal time was more traditional. The prices were definitely higher than last time, however, what price isn't higher than nine years ago? They were on park with the market these days and I had no issues with it - I think my meal came in at about $19 for the pizza, garlic bread, and iced tea (and I did get my always desired refill). Bazbeaux is unique in that every location (Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Carmel) is located along the Monon Trail. They all have outside dining options, as well. They serve beer and wine, sandwiches, pizza, and more. One thing I have to say - accessibility is improved. I was noticeably bothered by it the last time I was here. This time around, I was comfortable and could easily function (I did not try the bathroom). While I could still see it being a bit difficult when packed, I arrived at an ideal time and was quite comfortable. The food was good, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful after a busy morning event. It really hit the spot. So, yeah. Last time around, I gave Bazbeaux a 3-star review. This time, I'm forking over that 4th star.
