$4 for a huge slice of pizza is just an incredible deal in this economy and in an area like mass ave. It was reliable late night spot for our large group and there was plenty of space for us to sit and super awesome staff!!!

My 5 Takeaways (in under 60 seconds) Location: Prime spot along Mass Ave. Easy to find, with plenty of street parking available. Vibe: Great atmosphere. Cozy, yet plenty of seating and room to move. Clean and well maintained. Service: Excellent customer service. Fast, professional, and welcoming. Food: Delicious. Fresh ingredients, well cooked, and good-sized portions. Quick Tip: You can't go wrong with the lunch special - $10 for a slice, a side, and a drink.

Best place to get a quick slice on Mass Ave! The pizza is always ready and waits are low unless you catch the late crowd on the weekends. The service is great! Goodfellas has lots of seating options and a little hidden speakeasy that has all the vibes.

Food and drinks and the all around vibe of the place and the service is top notch notch and a good time

Great Pizza & Great Crew! I requested a Happy Birthday pizza and they hit out of the park!

Craving Pizza? You gotta try Goodfellas downtown Indy. Perfect if you're already in the area and need a bite. Best bet for your money is to take advantage of the lunch or daily specials. I know lunch includes the arm long breadsticks! The guys behind the counter are cool and fun to talk to. Lots of seating plus a nice surprise in the back. If it's not pizza you're wanting but want a tasty drink, inside there's a hidden bar, 'Wiseguy Lounge'. My drink was so good. A spin on the traditional amaretto sour. The bartenders are really nice and are helpful to find a drink depending on your taste. This wasn't my first time and it won't be my last.

BEST CRUST AROUND The guy that took our order was very patient and helpful. He helped guide us through the menu to place our order. I'm a big crust guy, and this does not disappoint . The mix of flavors was amazing. We had the Goodfella which is a meat pizza. Simply amazing. We also had the cheese bread that everyone loved. Check out the cool bar in the back. I'll check it out when the kids are not with me. Great food, great service.

This is a 2 for 1 if you can handle it! There is pizza on one side and cocktails on the other. You enter a really nice area, greeted with black and white tile floors. There are a bunch of tables and a table with stools that face the window you can look out of after you eat. You are immediately greeted at the door and you can see a few pizza options in the pizza window. Once you know what you want, they heat up the slice that's in the window. If it's not there, they will make it fresh. The breadsticks are so delish. I tend to get the pepperoni pizza. The smell of pizza dough is so intoxicating and the slices are bigger than your head! If you want to dine in, they offer you paper plates. I suggest grabbing some napkins because of the grease, but in a good way. Not too much. The bathrooms are always clean and fresh. I always enjoy coming here and love that I can grab a slice late night after going to a bar/lounge.

It's usually busy in here so be prepared for that. We came in for some grub before going to the speakeasy. There was a line, but it moved quickly. We wanted pesto bread but it was going to take too long to make so we settled for a slice of pepperoni pizza and a breadstick with cheese sauce. We took it into the speakeasy to enjoy a cocktail with our food. I really like good fellas pizza, it hits everytime. The breadstick was very enjoyable, I love how you can take the food into the speakeasy too. I really enjoyed drink my cocktail and eating my food. The ambiance in goodfellas is chill most times but sometimes depending on when it it, it can get really live. For good pizza, goodfellas is a go to.

Giant pizza slice!

Delicious pizza open super late with wonderful ambiance and a speakeasy in the back! Had fantastic service as well

Stopped in during lunch time - it's a decent pizza place with large slices of pizza by the slice and the breadsticks are huge! I liked the lounge-y section of the restaurant, it'd be great for larger groups looking to eat and lounge. I got the veggie pizza and shared a friends breadstick - the garlic cheese dipping sauce was delicious!

Ask the Community - Goodfellas Pizzeria - Mass Ave

What are prices like here, I have a family of 4?

You can get it by the slice, but I suggest going on a Monday night and getting a whole pizza for half price.

I wasn't in that mood so the staff helped me pick a passion fruit lemon drop. Delish! Hubs got a mule. He said it was good, just wanted it in the classic mule cup. Deviled eggs were good but the fried chicken boa buns stole the show! I could eat those daily! This spot is on the pricier side so let me know if you know their happy hour times! Our two drinks and two apps cost us about 75$. Those bao buns are worth it though! Also rooftop view is so cute! I would love to go back for another date night or girls night. It's such a cute spot!

I've been wanting to try brunch here since the summer, and I finally got the chance! Thankfully,…read morethe weather was still nice at the end of October. I called ahead and learned that Saturday brunch runs until 2 PM, so we arrived a little before 1 PM. It wasn't busy, and we were able to get outdoor seating, which I definitely recommend if you want to enjoy the rooftop vibe. It really adds to the overall experience. Our server, Paola, was nice and offered some suggestions. She recommended the Green Eggs and Ham sandwich and the Bloody Mary Burger. My husband went with the Bloody Mary Burger, while I ordered the Roasted Brisket Beef Hash. We also decided to share the cinnamon roll, and let me tell you, that thing is HUGE! Even with just the two of us, we couldn't finish it after our meals, so we took some home. My husband thought the Bloody Mary Burger was pretty good, although he wasn't a fan of the horseradish aioli and wished he had ordered it without it. My Roasted Brisket Beef Hash was decent. I enjoyed the combination of potatoes, beef, and eggs, and it had a little kick to it. However, I felt like it was missing some flavor and could have used more seasoning. A lot of the beef pieces were also pretty fatty, which I didn't care for. The portion wasn't particularly large either, especially considering the higher price point. For drinks, we tried the Espresso Martini based on Paola's recommendation. Unfortunately, it was just OK and didn't really impress me. I also ordered the Bimshire Bevvy and that one was a winner! It was cute with the little flower garnish, and I loved the small pieces of ice and the glass it was served in. The presentation was on point and it was good! I enjoyed the rooftop atmosphere and outdoor seating, and I'm glad I finally got to try the brunch here. The service was nice, and the cinnamon roll and Bimshire Bevvy were good. However, the main food was a bit underwhelming for the price, and I wish my dish had packed more flavor. I'd consider coming back for the atmosphere and to try something different on the menu.

This has got to be the coolest Tiki bar I've seen in my life. I'm going to be recommending people…read morego to Indianapolis....for a tiki bar. But for real, holyshit. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in the room is that Tiki just exploded all over every surface. Even in the middle of the day, all of the windows have been blacked out; every surface of this place was intentionally chosen and crafted to perfectly showcase the Tiki atmosphere, all the way down to a light fixture and how it shows shadows on a wall piece. There's a reason that Tiki lovers across the US talk about this place on Reddit like they do. It's gorgeous. (From my nerding with the staff, most of the decor in the main bar is genuine; they have "mass produced" decor in their add-on bar area, but the main area's decor primarily came from donated collections.) From talking with staff, the end goal was that they wanted a place where the atmosphere WAS the discussion point; they wanted you to be so busy absorbing everything that you didn't bother to pick up your phone. That's honestly how we felt here despite staying for hours. We'd find a small detail (a gorgeous lamp or the Pufferfish lights) constantly. All the drinks are delicious and balanced. They're all Tiki, so they're all similar-esque, but their nuance makes the difference, and you aren't just drinking sugar water. They're priced like most cocktails in the area, but Tiki drinks go down easier, to keep an eye on yourself. The food was delicious too. They have a limited Hawaiian menu, and all of it paired really well with the drinks. It came out hot and delicious, and it was a great add-on to the drinks. They had more food options on the restaurant menu than is online. (There were "nachos" with plantains instead of chips, and that was wild??) Service was ridiculously good too. He was so smile-y and happy, and with all of the joking around the staff did, it's clear that they have a good time here. Our server was really friendly with a great memory and understanding of the full menu and could easily make recommendations. Great guy. It's impossible to really quantify how amazing this whole place is. The drinks are balanced and gorgeously garnished. The atmosphere drills all of those drinks home, and it feels like a vacation oasis in the middle of Indianapolis. I'm really excited to come back. The only downside: we tried a lot of their menu, and we didn't order any drinks with over-the-top presentations (fire, sparklers, etc.) I'm not sure if they have any. (Disclaimer: I went during a weekday, and the lack of other guests in this space definitely contributed to how much I loved it. Being able to see all the decor and talk to the staff and really take it all in was amazing vs being packed into a place that's really popular. It's worth the time to come when they're dead. If you do, they were totally fine with you picking up your drink and walking around the place to see it all and all the decor!)

I came with two friends a weekend ago and the waiter said how they had a new chef and new menu and how great it was! So, we tried the pollo boracho, which was... fine. I mean, it's just braised chicken with veggies, which is tasty, but I miss the Polynesian options they had a year ago... drinks were still excellent, and service was good! We wanted to sit in chairs with backs and when they sat us at a table with stools, we asked and they didn't really offer a solution. There were some highbacked chairs in the corner, but the table between them was small and low to the ground... I wish the waiter had just asked us to wait 15 minutes for someone to leave, but that was not an option, apparently. Leaving the old photos from my visit a year ago, including the old lettuce wraps.

The lounge is much larger now, with additional seating and a cozy lounge area in the back featuring comfortable couches. It feels much more open while still keeping the intimate speakeasy atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places for craft cocktails because there's always something new to try. Their menu changes seasonally, so even if you've been before, you'll usually find new creations alongside their signature cocktails. The drinks are true works of art, both in flavor and presentation. On my most recent visit, I tried a cocktail off the Pride menu called the Stonewall, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a beautiful pink color, and I loved the glass it was served in. The presentation is always top notch. Service was good. The drink was also only $10, which is pretty cheap for the quality compared to other places. We didn't stay long this visit, but it's always one of my go to spots to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. Clearly they poured their heart into designing the restaurant as it is eccentric & elegant. I just wish the food had been worth the high price tag. We started with the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were borderline stale, while I only tried the salsa, it was good and had a nice kick to it. We also ordered the guac and queso. The first round of chips on both were stale and it wasn't until she brought us more chips, that we finally got fresh ones. Both were typical guac and queso though. I ordered the enchiladas and requested all cheese as I don't eat meat. There was absolutely zero flavor to the ranchero sauce. I tried it by itself and it simply tasted like nothing. I had not eaten all day so I ate as much as I could until I was full and took the rest home for my husband. He also said they were bland. Finally, we looked at the dessert menu and I did order the tres leches cake. $17 was probably the most I've ever paid for a dessert and it was also fine, but nothing crazy. Our table didn't get cocktails, as we are all pregnant so nothing to judge there. We are supposedly getting one of these in fishers, so while I might give it another chance up here, unless the experience is completely different, I will likely not return.
