This was my first time at BJ's and I get the hype that surrounds it. There's a lot of booth seating and some bar seating. Inside it's a nice intimate lighting. There were about 2/3 tables full, which is good for a Sunday. Our server Jason was friendly and good about keeping track of all our requests. They have mocktails! I got the Blushing Sangria. It was delicious and nicely fruity and not too sweet. I've never drank before, but my boyfriend said it tasted like the original kind. They have a pretty extensive beer list here, and many of them are local choices. For appetizer, we got the couscous Mac and cheese balls. These are pretty close in nature to arancini, but with more cheese. My main course was their weekend dinner special, with prime rib accompanied by white cheddar mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. The prime rib was absolutely amazing, nice and tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were also great and are a very smooth consistency. For dessert, of course we had to get a pizookie! The triple chocolate delivers on its name. Served hot, it is well worth the wait after two courses of deliciousness. They have TVs around the bar area that have sports on. At the time, basketball and nascar had the most coverage. I wish they had the closed captioning on, since that makes it easier to tell what goes on if you're not right at the bar. I have been here a few times but never got around to reviewing them.... I took my daughter & my niece over the weekend and they loved it. We also tried the Dubai chocolate pizookie at the end ... it was so rich & yummy - with the perfect amount of kadayif. We had the calamari appetizer. We decided to eat here with family because we enjoy their food and the have large booths. We got seated right away even on a Saturday and with no reservations. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to us. We had a five year old with us and the staff went out of their way to entertain him and deliver some treats. I started with a blueberry sour that was delicious. We shared a plate of Mac and cheese balls that didn't last long. Everyone enjoyed them. BJs is one of those restaurants where you can feel overwhelmed with the menu because it really has everything on it, but if I can recommend one thing, I would get the crusted chicken every time! It was a very delicious meal! I subbed the broccoli for the Brussel sprouts and those were cooked almost perfect, I like them a little more crunchy but the flavor was delicious. I ordered the fish tacos with chips and beans while my wife ordered the Sunday prime rib. The tacos were decent size with fried or grilled fish. I went with fried fish. The tacos are topped with cabbage and they give you lime wedges salsa and gauc. My wife's meal came with three sides. One was a large bowl of chili which tasted great had to try it. I had a small piece of the prime rib which was pretty tasty. The best thing here though is the massive array of pizzokis. We got the smore'sone and it was fantastic with chocolate brownie, covered with marahmello and 4 graham crackers and a large amount of vanilla ice cream. Definitely enough to share. read more

She took our drink orders and we ordered the potstickers appetizers to share with the table. They were really good. My wife and I split the BJ's Kickin chicken sandwich, which was also very good. It could've been hotter (spicier) for me, but it was perfect for my wife. It had so much good stuff on it like Sriracha and some other stuff which made it kind of sloppy to eat, but it was really good. The french fries were delicious. Also my wife had one of BJ's light beer. She's a Miller light girl but really liked BJ's handcrafted light beer. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was easy to talk. The service was great. When I got home I opened the boxes and they gave me all bone in. I called to get a refund because they messed up my order and this was not the first time they have messed up. I spoke with someone and they said they ran out of boneless wings. I asked why they didn't call to let me know and they gave excuses that didn't make sense. Just another employee not wanting to do their job. They also were hesitant to give me a refund but wanted to do a gift card instead. I firmly told them I needed the refund. They said ok & that their manager will issue the refund. I checked my email today about the refund and it showed they only did it for $1. Very unprofessional. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening, they had one hostess, you could tell she was overwhelmed b/c she was not the friendliest. Nonetheless, the young lady was holding it down on her own for some time but she had to assist a large party and I guess a manager saw the long line at the door and decided to help out but she only helped assign one group a table, let the hostess seat them, and then walked away to talk to said large party, all while the entire line stood there unacknowledged. Our server Lauren was very friendly and was attentive, she took care of us up until the bill was paid. We stayed a little longer to catch up and wanted another water but we couldn't find her. Our food arrived in a timely manner and everything was great - I took half of my remaining jambalaya to work and it was just as good reheated! I had the Pacific Poke Soba Noodles and I was impressed. Fresh poke and plenty of it. My friend ordered the Philly Cheese with fries. If anyone knows me they know my first date with my husband and our rehearsal dinner was actually at BJ's so to see it go down is a bummer. Our server Cristine was excellent. My husband told Cristine we were having a date night and let me tell you, she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We came here to see the eclipse and spend a few vacation days. I've been a BJ's fan for a long time, but have moved to an area BJ's does not serve so I was happy to see one near us. The food was the quality I've come to expect from BJ's. Good stuff, excellent taste. And who doesn't love a Piezookie! The service was very good - no complaints at all. But in the end, the price was definitely beyond what I remember from my experiences. While the food was good, it did not measure up to the quality of similarly priced restaurants. For the price, I expected more and better. In the end, I talked it over with my wife and we decided that BJ's was no longer on our list of places to look out for when we're out on the road. Loved the Margarita flight and the spicy pineapple margarita is amazing! I'd never had a margarita flight before so that was cool. Had the southern comfort chicken sandwich and it was *chef's kiss* My fiancés spicy jalapeño burger was also great. Only complaint was the 4 top booth is quite small when you have 4 people ordering apps, drinks, and food and our waitress had to be asked to remove plates/glasses.
