An incredible dining experience, I really enjoyed the triple dip. I wish I got the recipe for the Brussel Sprout dip it was incredible. I did the veggie gnocchi with blackened shrimp added. It was extremely citrusy and on the more sour side so I would say be mindful if you think the pesto is a neutral flavor. Everything was huge portions & the cocktails were delicious. We headed out for a date night, knowing that being a Friday, we'd likely have a bit of a wait for a table anywhere we went. Since I also wanted to do a little shopping, we decided to check out this location of Stone Creek Dining. I was thrilled to discover that I could set up a reservation online for 45 minutes from the time I set out to make reservations. So we went to one of the shops that I wanted before taking a short stroll together over to dinner. We had a booth up front by the windows, making us feel like we had some privacy, and we really enjoyed that. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, the perfect balance of informative and attentive to details. The food was great, as usual. I've yet to have an experience at Stone Creek that's less than stellar. Really looking forward to coming back for Devour Indy for our next date night. I have to say, I didn't care for my Old Fashioned. But, The White Rabbit has me spoiled. I've yet to find anyone with a comparable Old Fashioned. My partner in shenanigans ordered his usual Crown and Coke and was informed they only have...gasp...Pepsi. Blech. Food was good. Service was ok. Not the most friendly or attentive. Biggest issue, they keep their wine in the fridge. Red wine is served very cold and does a disservice to the brand (Quilt in my case). Spent so much time bringing it up to temperature so I could taste anything. It's also really cold in the restaurant, best guess 63-65° (I keep my house at 68°). They also count tip percentages including the taxes (a pet peeve, subtotal is what should be used!). Stopped in here for dinner last night with my husband and his dad/step-mom. Service was quick, waters were always filled back up without having to ask, and the food was excellent. The inside is so beautiful- loved all of the green tile work and the tall ceilings. We had fried green tomatoes and ahi tuna for appetizers- the fried green tomatoes were delicious, but the price point was steep for only 3 of them, so we would not order them again. The ahi tuna was perfect and the wasabi slaw with it was even better. In-laws had the full rack of ribs (not pictured, but they were HUGE) + ribeye. Both enjoyed their meal and took home leftovers. My husband had the short ribs and said they were so tender. I had the orange-miso salmon and it was cooked just right and the dish verged on being slightly too salty, but I really liked that about it. Overall, a really fun evening out catching up with family! Spicy garlic shrimp and the butterscotch White Russian was delicious! However we waited over an hour for our entrees, my grandfathers soup came out cold and I ordered my steak well done and it came out extremely rare. I order my steak well done bc I don't like seeing any red, any pink and I joke around that I don't like my steak to moo... yet it took over an hour and my steak was red! We also barely saw our waiter and had to hunt down the manager for heat up my grandfather's soup. It's pretty inside but it was not busy at all and we still had bad service. I would be understanding if it was busy, but it was really slow. Even our salads took over 20 minutes. When you walk in this place is very inviting. The aesthetics are very relaxing and kind of remind you of an upscale restaurant. However, it is a little noisy. Let's talk about the food. I forgot to get a photo but I got the salad with salmon. It was really good. The salmon was not mushy or dried out. It was just perfect. Oh, and the bread you get at every table is excellent! Don't skip on dipping it in the oil and herbs! Delicious! My daughter got the meatloaf meal. She did not like it at all. She said the meatloaf tasted processed. I've stayed near Stone Creek a few times so decided to give it a try one evening. Interior is really nice and they have a huge bar area for drinks and dining. They seemed to be very well staffed but for some reason, I had the worst service I've experienced in a while. The dining area was 25% full, outdoor seating maybe at 50% and the bar between 40-50%. Bartender didn't seem to want to be bothered. She looked over a few times in the first ten minutes before deciding to ask if I wanted a drink or food. I opted for both. Ordered a local beer, Ahi tuna app and a wedge to start. Food came out fast. Both tasty but the Ahi portions are a bit on the small side. Again Bartender couldn't be bothered while I waited for silverware. Over the next 30 minutes she came to me one more time where I just requested the check. Again, the place was not that busy so I'm still scratching my head as to why the service was so bad. Ended up finding another place in the same complex for my entree. Great food, great service and great atmosphere for upscale casual dining. My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves for a nicer meal than our usual pub scene and Stone Creek did not disappoint. From the starter bread and oil that had a nice spice/kick to it to the French onion soup, cocktails, and main dishes, we were thoroughly satisfied with our choices. For our main course we indulged in the campfire pasta and lobster risotto. We were told the campfire pasta was pretty spicy however, it definitely could've used more on the heat scale. But being from the south, we figured that was considered spicy for the Midwest. The lobster risotto was perfectly cooked with lots of lobster, the tomato jam on top I thought was unnecessary given the delectable flavors from the lobster, asparagus, and filets but added a bright note. First time dining at their new location!! I like the parking availability much more here than where the were previously so that's a bonus! Met a friend for dinner very early evening. To be honest, our table was in a really weird place. We were put off to the side kind of behind a curtain? It was kind of off-putting, but ok. Got the Phantom margarita and it was fabulous!!! Then started with the charcuterie board. It's kind of spendy at $24, but Omgsh was it worth it!! The bread that comes with the board is absolutely amazing. Crispy and buttery. Also comes with actual hot sausage. It could have been my whole meal. For dinner had the campfire fettuccine without mushrooms. I was really glad they were flexible with the ingredients! It's an outdoor mall in Plainfield. When we arrived at 11:00 we were the first people there. I couldn't believe the server sat us right next to the server station. It backed up to it. We were like can we sit further back? She moved us back two spots. Not to mention when 2 more groups came in she sat them right behind us. I get it that you have a waiter in an area. But, when you have ample booths in the same area spread them out! Especially with Covid. We weren't happy with that. They had so much seating she was just stacking them back to back. You could tell the other people that came in felt the same way they had that look like why are we so close! Our waiter was AJ he was nice and the shrimp appetizer was good as was the warm bread and dip. I think the garlic sauce would be great on pasta! The blackened chicken sandwich was very good! The Parmesan fries were good but I wish they were cooked longer and had more of the seasoning. They needed some garlic or something. The tenderloin looked good also. I had eaten here a few times before and new better than to try and eat in for Easter. Luckily while I was on spring break they sent an email advertising their to go dinning options. I immediately placed my order and am glad I did. The whole meal was ready for pickup the might before Easter. I received ample ham, fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, two loafs of bread, carrot cake. There were instructions for heating all the items and everything was well packaged. The ham was excellent as were the mashed potatoes. The carrot cake was some of the best I have had and I don't even like carrot cake. They don't have their own parking and sometimes it can be hard to find a spot but you can always park in the cinema parking lot across the street. I had reservations for 5:30pm, it wasn't too busy yet and was sat down right away. I was there for Devour Indy. I ordered the House salad, Squash Wellington, Chocolate Terrine and had the Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini. My friend had the Chicken & White Bean Chili, Filet Mignon, Chocolate Terrine, and a beer. Everything came out quickly and was delicious! Really good sized portions. Our server was great, very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend coming here. Everyone got to choose from their white bean chili or house salad to start. Stone Creek has one of my favorite house salads in the city. I love the sprouts and sunflower seeds and their cranberry poppyseed dressing is the best! We had 4 entree options to choose from and I went with the smothered chicken. It's covered in honey mustard, cheese, mushrooms and bacon. The green beans were super flavorful and the mashed potatoes were also good. This is a good comfort food dish. Nice spot for a nice lunch. Really elegant interior. Bright, open space. Tidy lunch menu. This place is a bit more than just cas dining. They serve a soup du jour, a very nice bread loaf, and cocktail menu. Creative twists on what are tried and true favorite dishes. Had the French onion soup and the shrimp linguini. Both quite nice. Asparagus on the linguini bright and fresh. Bright, citrus flavor and plump shrimp. Quite nice for a lunch. One thing to note, dishes are quite rich. Lotsa cheese and fried onion atop the French onion soup, and very rich sauce on the linguini. There are plenty of lighter options, but just know these plates pack a punch. Service was excellent. One area for improvement, while our seating area was clean, I noticed the lighting, vents, and wall had accumulated some heavy dust and are due for a deep cleaning. Had a very nice meal at a fair price. Would recommend. Another tip: it's quite convenient to sneak here from Indy airport on the service road, if you need a bite after a flight. read more

Made an anniversary reservation here this year. Made the reservation through open table and mentioned it was our anniversary and nothing was mentioned. Our usual restaurant that we go to for our anniversary has the table done up with happy anniversary and we get a complimentary dessert. Skip that we enjoyed our Shrimp Scampi appetizer, I ordered the Filet Scampi and Husband ordered the short ribs. I was given the wrong meal, it was a regular fillet. It was cooked perfectly however it was dry and it came with mashed potatoes that were dry so I had to get a sauce. The short rib delicious no complaints on that! We ordered the Espresso chocolate cake dessert which was nothing like it was advertised. The menu said it had caramel sauce, caramel, corn, sea salt, and chocolate, whipped cream. The only thing it came with from the menu was the caramel corn. There was no caramel sauce or chocolate, whip cream. I ordered it specifically for the whipped cream. Bummer it tasted ok just not extra ordinary. Also, I want to mention that I ordered a house salad, and there was a whole clove of raw garlic in the salad, which I made sure the waitress knew about.
