    Date night
    Angela J.

We headed out for a date night, knowing that being a Friday, we'd likely have a bit of a wait for a table anywhere we went. Since I also wanted to do a little shopping, we decided to check out this location of Stone Creek Dining. I was thrilled to discover that I could set up a reservation online for 45 minutes from the time I set out to make reservations. So we went to one of the shops that I wanted before taking a short stroll together over to dinner. We had a booth up front by the windows, making us feel like we had some privacy, and we really enjoyed that. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, the perfect balance of informative and attentive to details. The food was great, as usual. I've yet to have an experience at Stone Creek that's less than stellar. Really looking forward to coming back for Devour Indy for our next date night. I have to say, I didn't care for my Old Fashioned. But, The White Rabbit has me spoiled. I've yet to find anyone with a comparable Old Fashioned. My partner in shenanigans ordered his usual Crown and Coke and was informed they only have...gasp...Pepsi. Blech. Even making it double, it still just tasted like a watered down Crown and Coke.

We were in for dinner with a large group. The service staff did a great job, keeping drinks full and checking it often on our tables. We started with their house salad and a delicious bread course. I had a soy ginger salmon that was very flavorful. The salmon was a little overcooked, so it was a bit dry. We were given a tray of several desserts, all of which were very good. This is a solid run restaurant and they are quite consistent.

Stopped in here for dinner last night with my husband and his dad/step-mom. Service was quick, waters were always filled back up without having to ask, and the food was excellent. The inside is so beautiful- loved all of the green tile work and the tall ceilings. We had fried green tomatoes and ahi tuna for appetizers- the fried green tomatoes were delicious, but the price point was steep for only 3 of them, so we would not order them again. The ahi tuna was perfect and the wasabi slaw with it was even better. In-laws had the full rack of ribs (not pictured, but they were HUGE) + ribeye. Both enjoyed their meal and took home leftovers. My husband had the short ribs and said they were so tender. I had the orange-miso salmon and it was cooked just right and the dish verged on being slightly too salty, but I really liked that about it. Overall, a really fun evening out catching up with family! My husband and I would definitely come back here for a date night, especially since Barnes and Nobles is right across the street (which we did visit last night after dinner lol).

Blayne was a kind server. The short Rib was tender but a bit dry. Espresso Martini and Margarita were watery the first round and better the second. Bourbon Meatloaf was great. Caesar salad, Sirloin, Chocolate Fudge Bundt Cake for the birthday boy were satisfactory for him. Nice vibes inside, clean and unique.

Second time here. Good food, moderate value, good staff. Coming back here next Saturday before the 500. Recommend.

Spicy garlic shrimp and the butterscotch White Russian was delicious! However we waited over an hour for our entrees, my grandfathers soup came out cold and I ordered my steak well done and it came out extremely rare. I order my steak well done bc I don't like seeing any red, any pink and I joke around that I don't like my steak to moo... yet it took over an hour and my steak was red! We also barely saw our waiter and had to hunt down the manager for heat up my grandfather's soup. It's pretty inside but it was not busy at all and we still had bad service. I would be understanding if it was busy, but it was really slow. Even our salads took over 20 minutes. I try to be really fair and find a lot of positives for my reviews, but we came there for a celebratory dinner, spent plenty and just didn't get good service. Pretty disappointed.

2nd night m in a row. Addy took care of my food selections again and had a ribeye with green beans and that amazing vinaigrette salad that's amazing. Shrimp cocktail superb with a spicy horseradish cocktail sauce... and decided to finish the meal off with their amazing chocolate cake! Also met Terri and let her know it was awesome to see her cleaning tables, meeting with customers and getting things done! Great staff Stone Creek. Please come to Colorado Springs and show our restaurants how it's done! Congrats!

My daughter and I ate here for lunch after shopping at Hamilton town center. The restaurant is very beautiful inside and outside. It wasn't busy. We were seated at a two person booth in the back. Our server was very kind and efficient. Did not go overboard or make any recommendations, but we were satisfied with the service. Our server brought bread with a chipotle oil sauce. Was different....My daughter LOVED the white cheddar bacon burger. The Parmesan fries she said were also to die for. I had the pick two-the salmon tartine and French onion soup. Both were just ok. The salmon was a bit fishy, and with the avocado underneath it was just too wet. I also had a regular margarita. It was good, but very strong. Overall, I'd like to try this place again for dinner. I'm not in love, by the place has good service, great location, and was clean with an upscale feel.

When you walk in this place is very inviting. The aesthetics are very relaxing and kind of remind you of an upscale restaurant. However, it is a little noisy. Let's talk about the food. I forgot to get a photo but I got the salad with salmon. It was really good. The salmon was not mushy or dried out. It was just perfect. Oh, and the bread you get at every table is excellent! Don't skip on dipping it in the oil and herbs! Delicious! My daughter got the meatloaf meal. She did not like it at all. She said the meatloaf tasted processed. My youngest daughter, got a cheeseburger and french fries. She opted for the regular fries. I think she would have enjoyed it more if she would have got the Parmesan fries. She did not eat the fries. Our waitress was very sweet. The weight for a Friday evening was not bad. We waited 20 minutes for the three of us. You can call ahead and get reservations.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere for upscale casual dining. My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves for a nicer meal than our usual pub scene and Stone Creek did not disappoint. From the starter bread and oil that had a nice spice/kick to it to the French onion soup, cocktails, and main dishes, we were thoroughly satisfied with our choices. For our main course we indulged in the campfire pasta and lobster risotto. We were told the campfire pasta was pretty spicy however, it definitely could've used more on the heat scale. But being from the south, we figured that was considered spicy for the Midwest. The lobster risotto was perfectly cooked with lots of lobster, the tomato jam on top I thought was unnecessary given the delectable flavors from the lobster, asparagus, and filets but added a bright note. The filet medallions were well cooked and seasoned. We will 12/10 return again!

Our server Emily was cheerful and informative. A parking garage across the street served us well for dining at this restaurant and attending an event at Hendricks Live across the street. The shrimp cocktail appetizer featured fresh large shrimp with dollops of horseradish on the plate and a nice sauce. I enjoyed the steak frites entree, a generous portion of steak perfectly cooked, served with a delicious broccolini and tasty fries. My sister ordered the chicken marsala and noted that she would have liked more sauce, and the truffle potatoes were delicious. My brother said his huge pork chop was perfect, and my sister in-law recommended the sirloin steak. We had reservations and were seated at a high top table, which is not my preferred way to dine but the restaurant was full so we didn't ask to be moved. We had a bit of a wait for our entrees and chalked that up to it being Saturday night. There is a separate bar area and rooftop dining with igloos available.

Eh, fell a bit short for me…read more The ambiance and vibes are great! Service was great as well!! The food is where it fell short for me. I drove an hour to visit this place and saw lots of good reviews. I started off with a lemon drop and a snack short rib eggroll. The lemon drop was watery and just did not hit like I would have hoped (I'm a lemon drop girly). They do use Titos as their well so that was good. The egg roll was dry- you definitely need to dip in the wasabi aioli to make it palatable. Next up were the buffalo chicken hush puppies. I like the idea here. The inside was moist and flavorful and the outside was kind of dry and drizzled with what I think was ranch. They were ok. I have a Ceaser salad add chicken and "fried" Brussels sprouts. The salad was suppose to come the onions , there were none so the waitress brought me some. The salad was mid at best and the chicken was dry and unflavored. I asked for some spicy ranch and that saved the salad! The Brussels sprouts were pretty good. My friend had the potato soup and said it was very watery (not creamy at all). I enjoyed the live music and overall vibe but good was average. Parking is an issue as well. There is parking in the rear or a parking garage but not super convenient parking.

Then we waited to be noticed by the wait staff. And we waited, and waited. It took 17 minutes before anyone came to our table. We would have left but we had a $50 gift certificate to use. Finally someone came over. We ordered teas & an appetizer of flaming saganaki. We found it very tasty. For entered I ordered the Greek meatball sandwich. My wife got a cup of egg lemon bowl ( which is a soup she loves) & Keftethes ( with beef meatballs). I found the fries god & the meatballs & bread decent but the sauce was a little off to me which greatly reduced my enjoyment. It was just ok. My wife thought the soup was a bit thin but overall god with a strong lemon flavor. Her entree the meatballs were good, the green beans were cold & the roasted potatoes were decent. Overall she was meh. We ordered desserts to go. Baklava, Galaktoboureko ( custard in philo dough) & Oreo cake. Wife thought the baklava had an overpowering cinnamon taste which hurt it. The Galaktoboureko was basically sugar cream pie with philo crust. I thought it was ok but wife thought it should have been thinner. She also believes the to go containers aren't sufficient for these desserts due to the sugar syrup. The "Oreo cake" had one cookie to the side & was dry. When we gave the waitress our gift certificate she said they would take that off when they rang up the bill. She came back & the gift certificates were not taken off. I pointed this out to her & she went back to talk to whoever is running the register. When she came back she said she has no idea what's going on but they gave me a $50 bill to credit the $50 in gift certificates. My amazing wife surmised that they credited someone else's bill & gave us the $50 to make it right for us. Bottom line is all the staff we interacted with were friendly but the restaurant is very disorganized. Food was just ok. Can't say we were impressed.

Logan's Roadhouse Review…read more I came here to try it out, despite the 2 1/2 star ratings. I've rated this a 2, which is uncommon for me, -most of my reviews are 5s. It didn't help to start, that I had to wait about 4 minutes at an empty greeter station until someone came out to welcome me. In fairness to her, she did apologize, and led me to my table. I was quickly asked by someone if I wanted to start with a beverage. Then, there was bread and butter brought to the table. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea. It arrived quickly and I ordered my meal. (The iced tea was good.) I ordered the 12 oz. Ribeye (rare) with a cup of chili and a salad. Within a few seemingly short minutes, the rest of the food arrived. I commented to the waitress that it was quick, thinking their process is to turn their tables quickly, but she said it was because I asked for the steak rare. The steak had a grey hue to it, and was noticeably thin, but the chili and salad looked good. I should've ordered the 24 oz. steak because when I was done trimming the fat and gristle from it, there was at least 4 oz. of that put to the side. (See pictures). I think their calorie estimates might be wrong on the menu too, because I definitely burned off a lot of calories wrestling with my utensils to get a decent amount of edible beef. I get that a Ribeye has a lot of marbling, but this was rough and tough. I will say, the chile was good (4/5), and the salad was good and fresh (5/5). But at a place that has Roadhouse in their name, I don't think the side salad should be their banner product! I think their corporate marketing and product teams are trying, but I think they should spend less time with gimmicks (like member discounts and butter of the month club for members) and more time negotiating with their suppliers of beef for better cuts of meat. With Texas Roadhouse a walkable distance away, this place is no doubt losing the battle. Maybe I'm wrong but I think these two, and Longhorn Steakhouse are all fair competitors, but after this experience, I'm hoping to remember to pass this one up for either of the other two. I've dined at both the other two and they leave this place in the dust. I did join the Logan membership, primarily to get the Welcome one time $5 discount, (thank goodness) bringing the $24.99 price to under $20. The good news is, my waitress was friendly, though seemingly unmotivated, and I showed my appreciation for her friendliness in her tip, which she had to share with the bartender and, unfortunately the greeter who was preoccupied when I arrived, as I said. In summary, I think this rating and review would probably be accurate for other locations as well, because it seemed to be a steak quality issue that is probably company wide.
