This location has an upstairs and that's where we sat. We were a party of 10 and they were very accommodating. I ordered the pick two combo and it was delicious. The sirloin was cooked well and I ordered mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. My husband ordered the ribs and he loved it. Their portions are nice and you leave feeling full and satisfied. Our server that night wasn't the best due to how busy he was. He had another large party that we felt was served a lot more but it ended up being ok because other servers helped us out. I was a little disappointed. I thought this place was going to be great, but it's flavors fell a little short. We were amidst at a table that was wobbly. Our waiter was very friendly. He reached over my plate twice to pour water for the person across from me instead of walking around the table. The Board appetizer was unique and good, but everything else was underwhelming for the $200 we spent in total. We drive 2 hours for flights out of IND and almost always stop here for dinner. Food and drink are normally great but I ordered just a regular old fashion w Billets and they gave me a regular red maraschino cherry. I said this is the wrong cherry, and the bartender said for a regular old fashion this is standard but if you want the "other" one it's an up charge of $2. I call BS and ridiculousness! I love all of the Cunningham restaurants but this one is a favorite next to Bru Burger. I love their house made salad dressings and the campfire fettuccine is delicious. Tonight I tried the horseradish encrusted sirloin which includes salad, chefs vegetable and baked potato. They have a special menu if dining between 4-6 for $12.99 which is a great deal. This continues to be one of my favorite restaurants. They have made some updates to the menu which include the Bruburger Mexicali burger a nice addition. I also love their house salad with the white chicken chili for lunch or dinner. The service and food are excellent time and time again. If you sign up for a VIP card after $1000 they give you a $100 gift card to use at any of their restaurants. Came in for the devour menu. They have a $25 3 course meal. Underwhelming. Food was average. When it was brought out you could tell it had been sitting for some time. Not hot, but a bit over lukewarm on arrival at the table. I've had better food at a military chow halls. Service was the new "drive-by" type service. The waiter would address us as he would rush by without stopping. For this price point, there has to be better Indy. Very disappointed. I am a foodie and eat out alot... I had $172 tab for (4) and still tipped $50. For $50 PPA one would expect better service and restaurant ran better. We walked in 641 on the list. No reservations but everyone came in w reservation and i noticed people would make reservation on the app outside the door. I told the hostess, If i have been here for 40 minutes already and someone makes Open Table reservation AFTER me, I get seated first. She said, I am doing what my manager told me to do. So I open the app and make reservation while standing at the hostess stand. I show her the times reservations are being made and WE should get seated before someone who makes online reservation AFTER us. 1hr 10 later get seated. No greet for another 10. Asst mgr gives us half glass of tap water until waitress shows up. Ordered water, wine, 2 coffees. Ordered app and entrees. Great. Ill bring bread, oil and drinks. Bread never showed up. Shows up w one coffee NOT two ad its cold. Ordered 2 soups and Calamari. FRench onion tasted great, no broth , it was bowl of seasoned onions, the mushroom soup was great. Finally get 2nd coffee. Calamari is cold. TOssed in and Cajun sauce of some kind, (good flavor and better served on time and hot). Wife grilled Shrimp Pasta had Great flavor, my guest liked the meatloaf and nice size Chick Parm.. My steak was undercooked. Waitstaff never asked me to cut and check. Runner dropeed and did not see waitress. By then i was so hungry i ate it anyway and they use a High Temp searing burner and you can taste the gas from the grill and ruined the steak. THe steak itself was decent cut. Seems like owners put effort and money into building a nice place, i suggest you train your staff better and get another manager. I know this is not St.Elmo or Shula's Chophouse but when you drop a $45 steak, still ask patron to cut it. DONT go here for steak, get pasta or soups n salads. Little over rated for the price. This was a very nice restaurant in Plainfield, and it was a good place to wait for someone coming into the airport. We took the kids with us and had an early dinner. We got some free bread for the table which was appreciated, the kids inhaled it. My wife and I started with drinks. I had the raspberry whiskey sour which was on. It tasted a lot more like raspberry lemonade than whiskey. For dinner I went with the full rack of baby back ribs, and shared half of my rack with my two kids, who both ate all they were given. The ribs were good, a little sweet for me, but prepared the way it was supposed to be prepared. I thought the star of that plate was the creamy Brussels sprouts. The baked potato could have used a cheese, but it was nice too. We got two deserts, the brownie sundae for the kids, and bread pudding for us. Of course I had to try both, but in my opinion the bread pudding was better. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of chocolate with ice cream. All in all, I would go back and try some of the other things that looked good on the menu. read more

This is one of the nicer restaurants in the Plainfield area. The problem is that it is not quite upper echelon nice. The service is good and the food is good and the atmosphere is good. It's good. Just good. Not great. It's our go to nice restaurant when we don't want to drive out of Plainfield. But for a really special event this is not the place that we would go. Great place to enjoy a nice dinner with the family. We tried the Plainfield location due to proximity to the airport as we had family flying into town after dinner. After placing our order we were given some warm bread with a dipping sauce that had a sweet and mild spice to it. The sea scallops were very good and were served on top of rice with asparagus . This was a perfect experience. I had an awkward three hours to kill during the work day and stumbled upon Stone Creek. Their patio was full of people enjoying their food, which looked DELICIOUS. I glimpsed one woman's Caesar salad and I was sold. Dining solo, the hostess brought me to the perfect table. It was a single booth against a massive window and was the ideal spot to cram in some work while enjoying a classy meal. My server was amazing and she helpfully told me her favorite things on the menu and did the perfect balance of checking on me occasionally but also allowing me to do my work thing. I got the "half salad, half sandwich" option and went for the Caesar salad and Mushroom Tartine (open face sandwich). It had roasted mushrooms, truffle aioli, pickled onions, Brussel sprouts au gratin and hibiscus mustard, all on a slice of Bagguette. It was super delicious, as was the salad. I loved this restaurant! The food was amazing! Started out with the fried calamari which came with greens on the plate that had blueberry dressing, it was delicious! Next came warm bread with an unusual homemade dipping oil, oh my gosh, I think I finished the whole loaf! My entree was the miso salmon, which again, was great! The salon came with two square fried rice cakes, they were amazing....the salmon also had spinach and green onions in the miso sauce. All in all, the meal was spectacular!!! Their salads are always so fresh. I love the alfalfa sprouts they put on the house salad. Along with the salad they bring out a warm crusty loaf of bread with their signature oil dipping. They also sell the oil to go. It's so good. The bread was extra good tonight. Hubby and I both had a beer and it was delicious as well. It was a Sam Adams seasonal on tap. When our main dish arrived it was piping hot and cooked to perfection. We ordered medium for our steaks and it indeed was. It was so tender and the flavor was amazing. The garlic mashed potatoes were so creamy and seasoned so nicely. I had asparagus and hubby chose green beans. The meal was perfect. Service was great as always. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact they've taken the nightly drink specials away. My girlfriend and I loved going on Wednesday evenings for half priced martinis. Nice upscale interior for basically a strip mall. I'm not a fan of the outdoor mall especially in Indiana. Made reservations on open table. We were seated about 10 min after our reservation. I got a filet with green beans and asparagus. Started with Ceasar Salad Husband got a filet with Parma fries and mashed potatoes. Also started with Ceasar Salad. Friends both got New York Strips with potatoes and broccoli. They told the server they had allergy to green onions so no relish on either plate. Food comes out and the herb butter,on the steak has green onions. The server did write it down and she said she typed it on the order. Kitchen should have caught it. It didn't take long for them to fire another steak and bring out a plate free of green onions. Food was good. Drinks kept full. Bread looked good but I couldn't eat it. Trying to go carb free. We decided to check out Stone Creek for our family of 8. The customer services was just the worse. We had reservations & were seated within 15 min which is absolutely fine. Out waitress was just beyond rude. Our food was awful, our medium well steaks were not cooked right. One was over cooked with black burnt mushrooms on top. The kids steak was bloody just cutting into blood poured out of the steak. If you want any bread you have to request it, it's now optional & only given upon request. For my 12&13 niece & nephew the waitress decided for herself they could not have anything off the kids meal due to their age. So she charged me $22 for a Alfredo and chicken pasta for a child! Not even our adult meals were that much! When I asked why did we not get the ice cream Sunday that came with my 4 year olds meal she said bc it's optional and I needed to ask for it. I told her I wanted it and waited another 20 min, she never came back I assume bc I had already paid, So we just left! Not once did I get a refill on any drinks. If you like terrible service and terrible burnt food this is the place to eat at! I will never go back to Stone Creek again!! read more

Good wines made even better on 1/2 price Monday To start we had a nice red wine, Dao Vineyards, from Paso Robles CA The calamari which has a raspberry vinaigrette on a lettuce bed is very tasty. For the main course we had the filet medallions with Parmesan risotto and asparagus. Warm bread with aioli is optional. Watching my figure. Ha! Have been here many many times. Great choice for dinner, possibly the best in Plainfield. The food has been universally good and the service is fantastic. Out of 4 or 5 times here with largish parties, nobody has ever gotten something they didn't like. I'd like to see more draft beer choices at the bar, but I understand that it isn't what they're trying to push. Still, variety would be nice.
