The food was really good. We came here on two occasions everything we had was good. The service was good and the culture of the bar was good. Don't come here for sports as it is not a sports bar and be mindful as to what you drink as the stairs are killer. This is a nice place to relax.

Ambiance is much like an elevated dive bar. Great access to tvs. There's a neon sign and great light fixtures, ready to be captured. Upstairs was closed when we visited but I look forward to trying that soon. Service was amazing! One lady on a Sunday night serving the entire place (4-5 groups) but she didn't miss a beat! Great explanation of menu and took good care of us! Food was great! I loved my pasta and side salad. Pasta portion was very generous and a two protein pasta (chicken and andouille sausage) for under $20 with a (very good) side salad was unbeatable. Loved that my side salad came with great toppings (tomato, onion, cucumber, cheese, hot pepper, sunflower seeds) and also with a warm roll. Will definitely be back!

Okay-went here with my girls and man oh man was this some good food. Flavorful, not salty there's a difference, and fresh! Our server was running the show solo and she smoked it, truly. I ordered "The Tub" which was too stinking cute. For food I ordered the Social Virw burger. I wanted something classic and it was great. I had a bbq and their chipotle mayo on the side. I will say I enjoyed the moisture the mayo gave the burger. My girls ordered the Social Pasta and the NY Strip. Both were so tasty. Served with a nice sized side salad with yummy toppings. The restaurant is intentional on creating a space where you and those you come with truly can hang to be 'social.' Bring your fav game or cards and make sure you visit The Social View sooner than later. I'm excited to go back once it warms up so I can sit on the balcony.

My boo and I got our food to go last night! He said inside was really nice and the music was on point. I was so cold so I stayed in the car while he picked it up. I ordered the chicken tender salad and I thought it was OK. I am not sure what it was missing, but it just seemed like it needed a little more love. The egg rolls were OK also and the chicken sliders were pretty cool. I will say that the service was fast, we ordered our food and was able to pick it up immediately.

This spot is located in the heart of downtown. There is metered parking and commercial parking/garages within a reasonable walking distance. I ended up parking at one of the meters right next to the bar. This is a pretty neat place. It is very hip and trendy. They have a nice patio out front that also wraps around the side where they have bar seating and televisions. The bar has two levels. Both levels have restrooms and loud music playing throughout. On the first level you will find a full bar with seating and a modest dining area. That is also where the kitchen is located. The second level also has a nice full bar with seating, a larger dining area and a decent patio area out on the deck that offers a nice view of the street and neighboring buildings. There is a couple of televisions in the dining area, but they have no sound. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. My server was very attentive, especially considering that she had to keep running up and down the stairs. The bar holds special events such as trivia and has daily lunch specials. They have a small menu here that consists of items such as salads, sandwiches, burgers, pulled pork, salmon, and fish. The special the day I was there was the Blue Cheese Burger, unfortunately I did not see it until I was leaving. f I had saw it earlier that is what I would have ordered. I ended up ordering the Cajun Burger, with a side of fries. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my food. The food was decent. It was definitely not the best burger and fries I have had, but you really cannot expect much at a bar. Anyway, I really liked the bar's vibe. It is very hip and trendy. I would probably not come here primarily to eat, but grabbing a bit while having a drink with friends or making new friends would be cool. I look forward to seeing where this place goes and wish it nothing but success.

Nice new spot for downtown Indy! We enjoyed the patio seating on the second floor on a sunny, warm evening. I don't know what business was here before the Social View opened, but it's a great addition to the area. Plenty of street parking options nearby. We got there around 6pm but were told we could still order from lunch menu- cool! They have all kinds of things on the menu. It's impressive. Not just saldas and sandwiches- they have steaks and pasta too! I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. Wasn't feeling for the fries and I was glad I was able to substitute for broccoli (and it was a lot ) I loved both of them. It was quit, chill evening there catching up with friends. I'll definitely come back here. Pasta looked great too. Service was friendly.

I got to visit this establishment. I believe it is somewhat newer to the area, but learned it is owned by a couple more local bars that are pretty popular; so I'm sure this place will be the same way. I came here with friends for our girls night out. We were all pretty tired from the past week, so something more relaxed was perfect for us. This restaurant was bright and fun inside, but still kind of "divey" at the same time. They do have an upstairs, but it was not open when we were there (it was later on a Sunday evening, so completely understandable). There were just a couple of tables there when we arrived, but more people began to come in after us. The bar made it seem like "Cheers" as the bartender greeted the newcomers by name. Our server was the bartender, server, and busser all in one. She was very attentive to all of her customers and very knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us some great recommendations and we were all happy with our food orders. We got the pasta, burger with fries, the New York strip, and we shared the SW egg rolls. Everything was seasoned very well. We had not one complaint. We were exited to learn the drink specials throughout the week and to know they are opened for lunch. I think after we left we were all sure we would be visiting again in the future. Thank you to our server Tabitha for a great first time experience.

Second time eating here. Great service and food. Love the patio. Friends tried Salmon and Blackened Tilapia. Said they wouldn't do the Tilapia again it was too spicy. Husband got Burger and said it was really good. I go the chicken salad again. The Chocolate cake was good but a bit heavy.

I like the happy hour here. The food is really good and the drinks are priced very nicely. The view is nice as it faces west, but you can also see downtown to the southeast. It's comfy in here and Rachel, our bartender, has always been available and accommodating. The food here is really well done and you can definitely tell the kitchen staff is experienced.

5 stars for sure! Drinks 10/10 (Kelsea) Food 10/10 Service 10/10 (Kelsea) Music 10/10 I had the spinach dip and my best friend had the buffalo chicken dip and hot chips , all of it was delish! Everything 10/10 Decor is cute lots of spots for cute pics! We did have to walk up a good amount of steps to get to the bar in case you can't handle steps!

First time and I definitely like the unique space. There's outdoor seating upstairs, which would be really nice in the summer. I got the boneless wings during their happy hour so they were a good price and crunchy. I would recommend this place.

We had a coupon and decided to use it and try out this place for dinner. It was north of downtown but there was plenty of parking available on the street. The restaurant is upstairs and the stairs are pretty steep along with a handrail not properly secured, so keep that in mind when visiting. It's not handicapped friendly, including the restroom. There were a few people at the bar but we were the only diners. All seats are high top which I always try to avoid. Our waitress greeted us quickly and got us started with drinks while we reviewed the menu. I chose the Cheeseburger and Hot Chips and my husband chose their signature Chicken sandwich and Onion Rings. Everything tasted good, I really enjoyed the hot chips. They had a nice crunch to him, but also had potato inside not all crispies like a potato chip. The hamburger was OK. I think it might've been a frozen patty. My husband really enjoyed his sandwich and the onion rings were delicious as well. Overall, we had a good dining experience except for getting up and down the stairs for me was tricky since I recently had a knee replacement..

Traveling through the area, found this cool restaurant across the street. They have a great bar and cool atmosphere. Their chef really knows what he's doing, great food, definitely beyond your typical bar food, give it a try no disappointments.

The menu doesn't feel as "wide" to cater to more tastes. But the prices are still the same as other Mass Ave cocktail bars. BUT what Sundry and Vice has going for it is its locale. It's one of the only cocktail bars on this side of Mass Ave. Not only does this mean that it's easier to get to (depending on where you're at), but it also means that I've never had any issue getting seated here. In fact, even on peak Friday or Saturday nights, I have multiple choices of tables. (The only caveat I've seen to this is the unpredictable schedule of hotel conferences. If Bottleworks is hosting a conference, this place can get busier.) Compared to other cocktail bars down the road where they're on a 1 hour wait (or the "wait and see if a table opens" approach), I know I can always be reliably seated with zero issues at Sundry and Vice. The music exists, but it isn't overwhelming, and the low lighting and softer music makes this place great for actual conversations with people. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with a large selection of booths. The cocktail bar is inside of the Bottleworks Hotel; it's effectively a swanky cocktail bar version of a traditional hotel bar. Some of their cocktails are draft/prepped in bulk, so if you're looking for something fast, that can also be a factor. And it's right across the street from Garage Hall if food/snackies sound great afterwards.

Tonight my husband and I walked down to Strangebird for dinner, ordered drinks and dinner, and I had *just* said to my husband that Strangebird has come to feel like a second home. Then the server came out and told us that the chef has decided they will no longer permit any modifications, including those that meet dietary needs. We were out on the quiet patio surrounded by other customers, so on top of being totally blindsided, it was actually pretty embarrassing, too. Folks, let me tell you how much I wish I could just eat the ramen noodles like everybody else. So much food that I love (and in some cases spent years learning to make myself) went out the window forever when my body stopped being able to handle wheat. But at Strangebird, I could still go in and enjoy the depth of flavor in every other component of a bowl of ramen. And that meant the absolute world to me. I'm heartbroken.
