CoCo Fresh was not fresh at all! The boba was stale and the service was lacking. The girl making my matcha latte boba drink messed up my order and made a tiny fuss to fix it. Even at 70% sweetness (100% is the recommended sweetness level), the matcha latte was overly sweet. I was very excited to try this new shop in Valley Fair, but I was very disappointed. I ordered a matcha milk tea with boba and the flavor itself was pretty good but the boba pearls stuck together so much that I couldn't even drink it. A friend of mine ordered a classic milk tea with grass jelly and boba pearls and the drink weirdly tasted like chocolate. It also had a grainy texture, so we were confused as to whether the order was messed up or if the drink itself is just bad. Either way, the drinks weren't that good and the boba pearls were bad. There are two problems why I give them one star: 1) My family and I tried a lot of boba places in the Bay Area. Never had we been refused when we asked for a split cup for our two young kids for a big ice drink. Most of the previous stores we have been to would split it into two cups of equally size and made them like two identical drinks, except smaller and half filled. And other store would only charge the price of one cup. Some less accommodating stores would give us a cup and let us split it ourselves. In Coco, there is NO solution. You could only buy two drinks and they would reduce the amount they put in the cup. We even offer to buy an extra cup from them; they were just super unaccommodating; and rude -- the staffs shows uncaring attitude and look like this was an absurd request. 2) we ordered a second drink other than the drink we bought for our kids. And immediately after my husband drank it, he knew it was using milk powder or some other ingredients that are of low quality. My husband had a sensitive stomach. Whenever he tastes bad dairy products, he would have acid reaction. After one sip, he immediate felt bad. Overall, this store provides not so good/low quality products and bad service. read more

The person at the register never looked up at me, never acknowledge me. I stood there for about seven or eight minutes. There was a employee standing next to her that never said a word either. Just stared at me. I finally just walked out. I guess the company does not want customers. Maybe you should move the person on the register in the back away from customers. Nice and empty when I arrived around 1130 am. I ordered the tropical special which was the passion fruit green tea with coconut jelly and boba. I asked for 30% sweet and less ice. Unfortunately it was still super sweet for me and no tea taste. Cost was $5.75 for a large as you can't get this one in a medium. Friend got red bean matcha milk tea at 30% sweet and less ice. She liked that they mix the matcha while you wait but said next time she would get it unsweetened. Overall it's a 3 star rating. I prefer lucky tea which is close to Macy's men. read more

Ayyy. First review i'm glad theres another option for boba in the mall. It gives me another reason NOT to go to sharetea. This is probably the first boba spot I've found that have "sago" as a topping and you automatically get five stars because of it. Because they just opened, their menu does not have some of the roasted milk teas yet but i'm sure they will have it once they become more stable. I first tried CoCo in LA and loved my drink and experience there! I was so glad they finally opened one in Valleyfair (first floor near Macy's in the corner of the mall). I usually get the jasmine milk tea (love it, strong tea flavor), but I decided to try their strawberry green tea. I was surprised that it came with bits of fruit as it added to the texture. Their boba is chewy and almost perfect. I also tried their sago and loved how all the toppings combined together. You can adjust your sweet and ice level to your preference. Their drinks are a little sweet so I got 25% sweet in mine! Will definitely choose this over the other boba places in the mall! read more

I was looking forward to trying this place since a new location was being built closer to me. Decided to try the mango green tea with sago and the jasmine milk tea at the valley fair location, just to see if I would go to the one near home. The jasmine tea was barely there, overpowered by the powdery milk flavor. The mango green tea doesn't taste much of anything :(( no distinct mango flavor, or even tea for some reason. Just vaguely sweet. I don't even think my husband and I can bring ourselves to finish them :((( maybe in the future I can give this boba shop another try with another drink option. Right now, it's been a disheartening experience. The flavors of these drinks are the reason I gave one star. The service is good and the store looks bright and neat. read more

This Asian lady harassed two little kids. They ordered two drinks, but without warning, those drinks were cancelled. I saw those kids waiting longer than when I got and even finished my drink. (The kids ordered before me). They went up to the workers but were ignored for tens of minutes. It is great this business has business, but with this customer service, other "Fresh Tea and Juice" businesses should deserve more customers. Once the kids got a worker's attention, they were challenged with questions. The (I guess) manager came and yelled I MEAN YELLED so LOUD that everyone was quiet and just looking at the two kids. The kids looked like they were going to cry any moment. One kid showed a screenshot of their parents' card transaction and showed paid at this shop. But the MANAGER did not believe them. The kids called their parents and the parents sent another screenshot. Then the manager was POINTING fingers at the transaction. But like kids, a refund might be misunderstood as a payment due to the red subtraction amount. But the manager DISREGARD EXPLAINING and just told them their drink isn't on the orders. The kids soon figured out by themselves that it was a refund that I remember they never asked for because they paid for before I used the screen and i was looking at their screen as they ordered.
