If you're looking for a boba place while you shop at Valley Fair, then look no more, CoCo is here to serve light refreshing drinks for about ~$6 a drink. They're located on the first floor at the corner part of the mall. The surrounding shops include Macys, Skechers, and a French bakery right across. I prefer my milk teas to have a stronger taste of tea with a hint of milk and so I order mine with the lowest amount of sweet possible, less milk, less ice, and hella tea lol. I ordered their earl grey milk tea with boba and grass jelly. The toppings were pretty small and honestly, the drink itself was small. I prefer ShareTea over CoCo, sorry! read more

First time ever trying Yakult in a drink and WOW. Mind blown. Mango Yakult here is to die for at a wonderful price point. Staff is super friendly and efficient btw. Absolutely will be back!! read more

I got the pearl milk tea and thought it was just ok. 30% sugar was still rather sweet, and the other option is 0% if you wanted anything lower. The tea was definitely more milky; couldn't really taste the tea that much. Tapioca was ok, not super chewy. If I'm in the area I wouldn't say no to it but I think there are other bubble tea places that I would prefer! read more

My sister and I were walking around the mall and she noticed that this boba location finally opened, so we HAD to try it! There wasn't a super long line when we got there, but there are days when I see it stretch outside the door. Inside, you can see a bench in the front, a couple of tables near order countertop and more tables in the back side of the store. I ordered the two ladies drink because it included my two favorite toppings (boba and pudding). Like most boba locations, we were able to choose our ice and sweetness level. They took quite a while to make out drinks; however, considering their growing line size, I would understand why. When we received our order, I noticed that the boba to drink ratio was perfect! In comparison to the other drink locations in the mall, this one was by far superb, even though the taste was nothing special. read more

I'm pretty happy this place showed up. I think the milk tea and boba is better than Lucky Tea (the other boba tea place I like in the mall). I had Coco in SF and it's got the same menu I love up there. So far I've tried: 1. Regular milk tea 50% sugar with boba, 2. Three guys, and 3. Sago Taro Is this the best boba I've had in South Bay? Probably not. But for the mall, it's my new favorite. I have to say this has probably one of my favorite to get boba or grass jelly in South Bay. The tea is still better at DTF (that's a hidden gem for some green tea milk tea). However, the toppings are better here. I can't wait to get some matcha drink next, this was really good in SF and it would be nice for something like it at a more local joint. read more

Another boba shop opening in Valley Fair! I've always heard of CoCo but never made the effort to go try it, but as I was waiting in line for Ramen Nagi on a Saturday night (iykyk..), I decided to get drinks for me and my friend! A lot of the reviews say it's about $6 for drink, but if you're like me and just order a normal size PMT I believe my total was $4.75. I would say the taste of milk overpowered the tea flavor, but the drink was good nonetheless! They didn't have small pearls, but they had something called sago, which isn't the same as white pearls! They look like mini white pearls, but they aren't chewy at all and have the slightest sweet taste. It was pretty good, but I think I prefer something more chewy to go with my drink. Also, location-wise I could not find this store for the life of me! The location pin on Yelp was showing me a completely different area and God knows I couldn't read the mall directory LOL. It is in the mall corner right next to the escalator on the first floor next to Macy's. It's on the same end as potato corner, but opposite side, if that makes sense! Overall, this was a 4/5 stars for me! I would come back if I was already in the mall shopping and whatnot. I think the problem with Valley Fair opening so many boba shops is that it's not the most convenient place to get to. You have to park (and now they might charge for parking!?) and then walk a distance before you even get to the boba shop. People like things to be quick and easy, get in and out, or maybe I'm just lazy asf.... :-) read more

Pretty good service and fast, but the drink is meh. I ordered the 3 Guys milk tea and there were like 4 different topping but worse part is that there are way too many boba and the boba is so hard its not a good combination when everything is soft. I literally was pooping right after the milk tea and I was pooping boba because it was soo hard to chew them. I ended up only finishing about 2/3 of the drinks and got another drink from elsewhere. The milk tea isn't the best also. Their drinks can be kinda expensive if you get the specialty drinks. I would come back but I definitely would get a boba drink. My cousin had a juice drink and he said it tasted weird. read more

I had high expectations of this place only to be overwhelmed by great disappointment. My daughter is a boba connoisseur and she was not impressed with her taro milk tea. I ordered the chocolate with red bean and it was good, but not mind blowing. One more thing, be careful with the plexiglass when paying for your order with a card. The edge is super sharp and I ended up cutting myself. We notified the workers and they didn't care nor offered me a band-aid. So I was left bleeding. So yes, Coco deserves 2 stars for mediocre boba and for leaving me with a disabled finger. read more

I've only gotten their pearl milk (black) tea with brown sugar pearls, so I can only speak to that. It's good. I'm a fan. I like the tea flavor-- it's milky and not watered down. I like the brown sugar pearls-- they're very chewy/QQ, and sweet. I think I've tried all the boba places in Valley Fair (5? Give or take). Coco is the only one I'd return to. read more

I loved Coco's when I was in LA so I was so excited to see a location open up in NorCal. The menu is pretty extensive, lots of different types of drinks to choose from. I love their yakult series. My go to drink is always the caramel milk tea. I came on a Friday afternoon and there was only a few people in line. Right now, only one person is allowed in the store at a time. I was slightly disappointed in my drink because the boba was a miss, it was hard in the center. But since I loved Coco's so much in LA, I would comeback to this location for other drinks. read more

I opted for the egg pudding milk tea which was amazing in flavor!! The egg pudding was also pretty good but not the best I've had. My main complaint and the reason I took off a star is because they charge for a "medium" but that cup is a small y'all. Like on the real, it's maybe a little bigger than a standard soda can. That was pretty disappointing and not equivalent with others in the business. read more

This is a solid 3 for now. Walked in around 3:50 on a Friday afternoon to find a ton of people waiting. Music was a bit loud and girl at register was a bit soft that I couldn't hear her questions. It appeared she couldn't hear me either as I ordered sago mango green tea but received the sago taro milk tea on my receipt. Waited for close to 20 minutes and as my number was called, I was confused since it was purple. Looked at my receipt and indeed she had put in sago taro milk tea. I recommend paying closer attention to the screen as it's being punched in but would think they should also lower the volume of their music. The good thing was that I like taro milk as well so I did enjoy my drink. $5.75 for a large was decent as the store is in a mall. Will go back after the holiday season and try some other drinks again. read more

No longer a fan. After three years the service and drink quality has gone down. What's the use of having two self ordering monitors when it takes awhile for the order to come out? It just made the staff lazy and slower. Ordered ube taro milk tea with sago and it wasn't even mixed correctly. You can still see some of the powder mix at the bottom of the cup. Worse off, the sago balls were hard and not heated enough. Go to the other boba milk tea shops around Westfield. read more

Very unprofessional customer services. A female worker keeps talking to her friend while at least 5 customers were waiting for their drinks. She also made several loud screams, which made everyone uncomfortable. I personally requested the male worker to not put orange slices in my drink because the peel made it bitter last time; unfortunately, she still ended up putting those in, and the drink tasted horrible. She clearly knew that there wouldnt be enough orange juice for my drink because she accidentally made a wrong drink, but she still did it and added extra tea to fill the cup. Waited for 25 minutes for just 2 drinks. Def will never go back. read more

When I came to the mall earlier this year, I was so excited to see a CoCo Tea here because I had a delicious jasmine milk tea from the SF location. Honestly, it's hard to find because it's hidden in the corner at one end of the mall. I was thinking to myself that the long walk/detour would be worth it once I get my delicious jasmine milk tea again, but boy was I wrong! Obviously, I was so excited when I finally saw the bright neon looking sign that read CoCo! Since I already knew what I wanted, I was waiting for my friend to decide what drink he wanted to get for himself and his gf. As he was looking, a few people walked in (they were looking at the menu only and weren't even ready to order) and the cashier was already looking a bit impatient so we decided that we'll just order separately. I ordered my jasmine milk tea with boba and saw something about a stamp card, so I asked about it and the cashier lady had a confused look and she didn't even answer my question. Anyway shortly after, my friend was going to order, so I asked him to ask about the stamp card and the girl told him that they didn't have it or have one? Okay whatever. I got my drink and snapped a quick picture on the table to the right so I could just enjoy my drink and shake off the negative experience I was having so far. As we were walking back towards the other end of the mall, I took a sip of my jasmine milk tea and it tasted like milk water with boba (I couldn't even taste any tea taste)! I wasted about almost $6 (boba's $0.75 here instead of the usual $0.50 at most of the other boba spots) for a cup of milk water with boba! read more

I was really excited to try this new place out. They have several drinks to choose from along with recommended drinks and suggested pearls, jelly, etc. This place does get busy so be prepared to wait. I ordered a large strawberry green tea with the suggested lychee and Boba pearls. The drink was very good; not overly sweet, which was great. Although the line was long, the employees work at a fast pace and before you know it, your drink is ready. Definitely give this place a try. read more

Tried the 2 ladies today at Coco. They're prompt and efficient and the drinks came out pretty quickly. The taste of the tea is a little watered down and the boba was a little hard. However, the pudding definitely brought me back to Taiwan and the sweetness level was just right at 70%. Might come back to try their other flavors. read more

I wanted to give this place at least one try since Valley Fair now has SO many boba places to check out - service was good and I liked that they have a fresh milk menu but feel it could be better expanded. One of my favorite boba places in Taiwan, so glad they have a location in Norcal now~! Located on the first floor of Westfield Valley Fair near Macy's, on a corner. There's an escalator right next to it, and I think they're working on some construction nearby also. Loved the interior... the lights are so pretty! Menu is on the wall, and there are also laminated copies of it by the register. my boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday afternoon and the whole mall and santana row were all really empty cause of the Superbowl, so there was no wait at all. Service was friendly, but nothing special. I ordered the taro milk tea sago; taro tasted really authentic, not too sweet and not too artificial which is how it should be. I hate the taro drinks that are sooooo sweet because of the artificial powder taste. got the smaller size, was around $5. They allow you to customize how sweet you want the drink, and how much ice, so I got less ice. Would probably 8/10 recommend the drink. Wished they had the fresh milk version of this drink with real taro bits!!! Maybe one day.. Wished they used compostable straws (like Boba Guys) or offered metal straws for sale. I normally bring my own straw since I drink boba at least 3-4 times a week, but would be nice to have options of a compostable straw. Definitely the better option compared to ShareTea lol, the quality is much better. A must-try, along with Rabbit Rabbit tea. read more

Coco has finally made it's way to San Jose and I was so excited to try it out! It's the sixth place to open up and sell boba in valley fair!! It's also located in downstairs next to Macy's. DRINK: I ordered a large caramel milk tea with boba at 100% sugar and 50% ice. It tasted like feint caramel and was a very refreshing drink. The boba pearls were pretty soft and had an okay texture. The best thing about coco was that their ice ratio was perfect for 50%, by the end of my drink I had an empty cup and I was able to enjoy a cold tea drink to the very end. It can be a little pricey, my drink totaled up to $6 because of the size upgrade + topping addition, but I'm always down to spend when it comes to boba!!! Overall, pretty good place to grab tea at the mall (much better than rabbit rabbit and sharetea imo). I can't wait to try all the other drinks! read more

Monday afternoon. Full on, downright creepy. I walk in with my friend and we are immediately met with creepy glares by two male workers. I'm displeased but we order anyways. They take our orders and we wait for what seems like an eternity, even with the store being empty. As we sit down and wait, they're making noticeably loud whispers in which we both felt uncomfortable about. In no way am I being cocky about my appearance or anything, but I definitely felt vulnerable. After a couple minutes, they tell us to repeat our order again as almost an excuse to get to talk to us which I was disgusted by. They take our order yet again and take a while to make the drinks. As they do this, they constantly look back and fourth at us while whispering secretly to each other. We simply ordered two teas with boba. After that, we fled. It felt gross. The drinks themselves were moderate but these workers definitely ruined the "experience" and our day. We are literal minors. These guys are AT LEAST 20. read more

Sorry Sharetea, Rabbit Rabbit, and Lucky Tea. Though you've made your fair contributions towards Valley Fair's boba evolution (did Youji even try though??) I see no more need to settle for less when trying to get my boba fix in the mall now that CoCo has entered the arena. I've been to other CoCo locations, but honestly this one was been the most satisfactory! Here there's never seemed to be as horrifying as a line as there is in front of Sharetea. The inside is actually pretty spacious, and I love the clean, warm aesthetic of the store. Aside from that, pretty standard quality in general (best within the mall for sure though) with pretty standard hiked up Valley Fair prices. Love the fact that they offer sago here as a topping too! Definitely would recommend the strawberry black tea with the cloud cap (the cloud cap is amazing so fluffy and light c: ). At 50 sugar it's not too sweet. Pearls are ok (chewy, but not that flavorful imo). Definitely come here if you need a boba fix while shopping! read more

CoCo Bubble Tea - Sago Taro milk tea, with 30% ice and sweetness. - Bubble Tea Near Me - Santa Clara, California

We were wandering around the mall and came across a new milk tea place! Of course we googled it and found that it's a popular chain we hadn't tried yet. Ok, so milk tea is a personal preference when it comes to taste/flavor in my opinion. I enjoy milk teas that have a good balance of tea or a stronger tea flavor and milder milk flavor. We ordered- Taro sago milk tea- medium size (pretty small in size) has micro mini tapioca. 30% sugar and ice. Was good, had a stronger milk taste then taro and I liked the sago surprisingly! Coconut jelly milk tea- medium size, 30% sugar and ice. The coconut jelly is actually pineapple jelly and it states that on the menu but I still ordered it thinking there might be some coconut flavor- nope. Had almost no tea flavor and tasted heavily of milk or cream. The drinks here aren't for my liking, I actually ended up with a severe upset stomach which I think is due to the milk or cream (maybe they use whole milk or heavy cream?) my bad for not asking and I suffered the wrath :/ Unfortunately, won't be going here again. They're worth trying out tho if you like heavy cream milk tasting teas :) read more

While I didn't enjoy my drink, my wife did enjoy hers and it was pretty good. Literally 45 minutes later, we both were throwing up everything we had at this place.
