    Peach soda with coconut jelly
    Fiorella M.

Cute little coffee shop, bright and clean inside. Staff are very friendly. I ordered a peach soda with coconut jelly. It was refreshing and not too sweet. I visit from Toronto about once a year or so, so I don't know when I'll have a chance to come back but I'll definitely be back to try something new next time!

Osmanthus Oat Latte, Premium Coconut Latte

Stopped by here on a Sunday morning. The place is very clean and well designed. We were greeted immediately and ordered an iced Premium Coconut Latte and a hot Osmanthus Oat Latte. Both were extremely tasty and exceeded our expectations! The coconut latte had a well balanced combination of coffee and coconut flavor. Make sure to mix it well before drinking. The osmanthus latte had a strong osmanthus flavor with a hint of sweetness. Highly recommended to try out these two drinks if this is the first time of your visit!

Great double, comfortable space. The space is very modern and shows its newness. Would be a great meeting spot.

93 Coffee Cafe & Eatery is a very unassuming multipurpose space. With its big open windows…read morereceiving plenty of natural light, soft light fixtures, and simple yet modern table and seating set up, it is a perfect spot for a date - getting to know somebody over coffee, espresso, and matcha, a dessert spot - with its various pastries, parfaits, and sweet offerings; or breakfast and lunch spot with its versatile menu of sandos, curries, teishoku, noodles, and bentos. Stumbled across this place while looking for a simple yet delicious Japanese meal to end my latest Vancouver trip. 93 coffee showed up, which was perfect as it was only a stroll and a half from the downtown waterfront area. The location is thicker away, quiet, and upon first entry, it was obviously that somebody meticulously thought of the concept and took great care in procuring the furniture, fixtures, and set up. The staff was friendly but in a non-rushing feeling-like-a-business type of way. So all the good qualities of your neighborhood cafe with the charm of a Japanese cafe. I ordered a hamburg steak teishoku and my boyfriend ordered the Hamburg steak curry. We were impressed by how the patty was flavorful, meaty, but neither greasy or heavy - signature of how it is in Japan. The curry was flavorful without being overly rich. The side pairings for the teishoku was perfect - a mini salad, side of pickled vegetables, rice, and miso soup. Very well balanced. Overall, super satisfied of this latest find. We need to come back to try some of the dessert offerings.

Little Japanese-western cafe inside the Denman Place Mall. You'd never know it was there, walking…read moreby the mall on the outside. Its on the south side of the mall and there is no signage on Denman where all the foot traffic is. The space is quite big, comfortable chairs, and clean. Run by some Japanese people. The menu reminds me of those Japanese "Western" chain restaurants all over Japan, and they serve some comfort food dishes like omurice and Japanese curry. Sizeable menu of Matcha and Houjicha drinks, as well as some desserts. All the staff were friendly and at least during lunch hour, the place is relatively quiet. Service was a bit slow though, and they didnt bring our 2 dishes out at the same time. Food we tried: omurice+hamburg steak add-on - the omurice was quite nice. Comes wrapped in a thin omelette the old school way. They serve it with ketchup. Not much chicken in the chicken rice. Flavour was nice though. The side of hamburg steak was quite soft but flavourful. Did not taste like just beef - I suspect it was a mix of beef and pork. Also had a small side of salad. Overall pretty solid. 4/5. beef curry rice bowl - pretty good, the curry sauce was generous and not too salty. Served with the usual side of pickles. 4/5. Houjicha iced latte. Exactly as it sounds, and pretty good too. Very solid 4/5 overall. Weird location and I suspect they would be much busier with more visibility. There arent many places in town that serve this kind of food so there is opportunity for them to do well. Their food is pretty good, and a good approximation for the stuff you'd get in Japan at those western style chains that are so popular there. IYKYK. Pricing is high-ish but for this area it is not crazy. The beverages are $6-8 and the food runs about $20. I would come back if I had a craving for this type of food.
