[[HIGHLIGHT]]Grabbed a quick breakfast from here on my last day in Vancouver. It's a small coffee shop right in the middle of the bustling business buildings but it's not too hard to find.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There isn't a whole lot of seating inside but it seems like most people were taking their orders to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the iced tiramisu latte. Definitely on the sweet side and too sweet for me. If you're not into very sweet drinks, I'd recommend ordering something else or asking to adjust the sweetness. I also ordered an italian sausage sandwich. This was pretty good! It's not huge so you won't get super full but its enough to keep you satisfied until lunch! Luckily, I got there before the line got too long but everything moves really quickly. I only waited about 10 min before I got my order so you can plan to be in and out fast!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Tiny spot, great choices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was so excited I forgot to take any other pictures than this one of the fresh croissants baking... they smell heavenly. Real mugs, big, of coffee

Iced guava matcha

A delightful little spot with excellent pastries and a fun selection of drinks. Immediately drawn to the light, plant-filled atmosphere of this place. We grabbed a spinach and feta strudel and chocolate croissant. Both were utterly buttery. We got a latte and an guava matcha. The guava matcha was so aesthetic, with the layer of matcha sitting on top of the guava syrup, which added just the right amount of sugar and tang. Would definitely try this place again :)

A cute and cozy café with lots of specialty drinks available. I loved their iced guava matcha - it was a combination of sweet and tangy.

Excellent pastries and lattes. I tried the cranberry London fog scone and a pistachio strawberry croissant. Both were unique and delicious. The honey lavender latte was perfect! Not too hot not too sweet, perfectly creamy. Also had the holiday - marshmallow latte with oat milk. It was also made well and with the right amount of melted marshmallow goodness on top. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly service, clean bright and warm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A few seats inside and a few outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pistachio strawberry croissant was very yummy. Iced mocha was very good as well. Small shop but has good amount of seating. Good service and definitely recommend. Unfortunately, I tried this one my last day visiting Vancouver so will definitely be back to visit soon.

One of my favourite coffee shops downtown! It's such a cute and cozy little place. The most notable thing here is the unique drinks, but all the food is really good as well. The tuna and veggie paninis are quality (the veg panini can be made vegan by replacing cheese and mayo with hummus, both versions are good). The paninis come with a little side salad of mixed greens - nothing special, but it rounds out the meal. I haven't tried much from the baked good selection but they have this top-tier strawberry pistachio croissant with a baked crunchy pistachio top layer and pistachio cream and strawberry filling that has to be one of best-conceived baked goods I've had the privilege of enjoying, and I'm not even much of a croissant person. For drinks, they have the usual selection of coffee/tea and also specialty lattes like Okinawa tea latte, ube latte, strawberry matcha, hojicha, black sesame cream latte... some of these are seasonal, some are fixtures. The flavours are wonderful and as a bonus they're pretty too. I appreciate the staff always checking to see if I want my drink sweetened and listening to my customization requests! Finally the baristas are always smiling and are so nice! As mentioned above, they pay attention to the details when taking my order. They bring your food and drinks to your table when dining in. It's rare to find such consistently pleasant service.

Cute little Cafe. Staff are friendly, good atmosphere, cute decor and comfortable seating area. Great place to do some work and meet friends. I had the Okinawa Latte. It was so good. I recommend it. I would definitely like to come back to try other menu items.

Great place for a quick breakfast. Got BLT and was surprised it also had an egg in it, nice touch and extra hearty healthy protein. The staff are really nice there. The place felt calm and seemed very clean.

One of the best coffee shops! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I have to say their latter oat milk is one of the best coffees I've had. Nice vibes inside as well

Dirty Ube

Such a cute cafe! It's filled with plants and wonderful natural light! I had the dirty ube, which was not too sweet and had a perfect balance of coffee and ube flavors

Cute cafe. Nice décor. Nice staff. Great place to chill before meeting friends for lunch.

I come here for over a year now, but somehow still getting disappointed lately. When asked for a decaf I get a regular. Now you probably going to tell me how do I know the difference, easy high blood pressure when I get regular coffee. All I am asking is for your staff to be careful. Customer ask decaf for a reason ( could be medical or can't handle caffeine)

This plant wall could've been so beautiful if it was well maintained

Just ok -- coffee was a bit gimmicky and not very good, the food was decent but nothing special. Was disappointed based on the high reviews.

Worst Americano ever. Bitter and acidic. I'm not usually this blunt but was disappointed because I really needed a coffee :(

The concept and stunning visuals completely blew my mind and I knew I had to come by to try this dessert. Their hours are a bit limited as they close at 5pm even on weekends. Luckily, I was passing by in downtown and quickly ran in to grab a couple sandwiches. They were rock solid when the cashier passed them to me, which was perfect as I had to make the trek back to the car before I could unwrap and try it. The sandwich is on the smaller end so I made sure to cherish the $25 I had spent on 2 sandwiches. The inside featured a creamy basil ice cream with frozen strawberries. The strawberries were a bit icy but the cream balanced it out and it was not too sweet. And of course, who wouldn't love a biscoff ice cream sandwich? The basil flavour was unique and interesting and I was glad I got to try this delicious creation. I probably wouldn't have it again, but it is definitely worth a try! The French bakery is also really cute inside, so I do want to come back to experience and in-café experience - maybe at a different location with more parking.

It was a huge hit with everyone! The 6 inch cake was $69 and I added a customized birthday message on chocolate for an extra $3 which was a nice personal touch. One thing to keep in mind is that you'll want to order online well in advance because their cakes sell out quickly. I can definitely see why. They're fantastic! I'll be ordering from Gary's Patisserie again for future celebrations.

Gary's only allows to order the fresh mango cakes up to one week ahead to ensure they have enough ripe mangos, which I admire their dedication. We ordered the 6 inch cake for 9 people (7 adults and 2 kids) and everyone got a thin to average slice. The cake is definitely prettier than the other fresh mango cakes on the market, has a lot more mangos that are perfectly ripe and sweet, there is less wipped cream, and the sponge cake is softer. The family agreed that Gary's has the best fresh mango cake but at $69 for a 6 inch cake, versus $43 for a 6 inch mango cake from Saint Germaine, a cake from Gary's is definitely a treat and for special occasions. Is Gary's worth the premium price? I think so but not everyone in my family agreed. One thing to note: Gary's do offer cake in a jar that's $8.50 each. When we went, they had a BOGO deal with the mango cake jars. My nephew asked my sister to buy the BOGO deal knowing that the 6 inch cake was not going to be enough, as the kids like having a second slice of cake.

As I love desserts, I was so excited to see Chinatown and visit this place for the first time. This place was located in an area that would be best to walk with a friend or a small group- I was not quite prepared to see and experience what was going on all around. Finally, we made it there and were glad to order some doughnuts. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the sweet smell of doughnuts and the two friendly staff. Everything looked so good, so narrowing down our pick was very hard! At the end, we ordered two flavours- Matcha and Tiramisu. The matcha doughnut was soft and the filling was light yet full of matcha flavour that one would expect, I loved every bite!
