I was walking along Georgia St on a Sunday morning on my way to church. It was early, and felt hungry. I saw this cafe on the left heading west on the ground floor of the building. It's a small space but they have tables extending to the building lobby. They have good coffee and various drink options, sandwiches on their lunch menu and lots of breakfast sandwhich options. I ordered the Sausage Sunrise, $10.85. Not bad. It was unusually huge. Smelled good. Love the melting cheese and huge egg serving on top of the sausage as you can see. It tasted great! I really liked it was fresh off the grill, not off the display, as so many coffee shops have. Service was fast. Server brought it to my table. Most service now they place it on the counter for you to pick up. I wasn't expecting much these days, but it was great. There is no parking that I've seen as it is in Georgia St. But I will come back and try other stuff. For the price, the portion sizes, and good service, I highly recommend this place. Cafe club is one of my favorite coffee shop. I have tried several drinks in this place, and everything tasted good. This time, I saw instagram post about new drink menu. What I tried: Pumpkin spice cold form Ice houjicha. Houjicha had very smoky strong flavor. Hightlight was Pumpkin spice cold form! Texture was nicely firm, creamy and sweet, so delicious! I never imagined houjicha and pumpkin spice combination, so, it was a nice discovery. They also offer variety of baking goods and foods. Service was super-friendly and excellent.. Out of towner, but would not recommend. There are many other cafes around that would be better at a better price. The staff was nice. The menu for drinks is on a QR code .... At the register, so you have to frantically scroll the online menu with a queue behind you. The coffee was fine. The sandwiches are very, very expensive and not worth what they are (the breakfast BLT didn't even have Bacon - edit: pparently this is "baked into the bun" - this is dumb and no one asked for this and it is not made clear when ordering in store. You expect bacon on the sandwich) But for over $40 CAD for two breakfast sandwiches and two coffee drinks without any tip is too much to spend for mediocre. Search elsewhere. read more

The savory oats here were so warming and scrumptious. The gravy was delightful, the greens were crisp, and the egg was perfectly cooked. However, the price for a small bowl was pretty steep- and the same price for a breakfast sandwich, too! The cherry blossom matcha was fine but the cold foam didn't add much. Best croissants in the city?! We have yet to find a better place. Prices are standard downtown prices but great value when you compare it to other places. The drinks are good too. Friendly staff. Not a lot of seating but there's usually a table for 2 or 3 available. Definitely recommend if you're looking for lunch or a quick bite. read more

We stopped by Cafeclub after hearing a few friends rave about their seasonal drink and WOW! the hype is real... :) We tried the cherry blossom cold foam drinks (cold brew and matcha) and the foam was like nothing we've ever had, super light yet creamy, and packed with flavor. The drink itself was worth the detour. We also shared their Big Tuna sandwich and it was legit. Super fresh, super satisfying, easily big enough to split. For dessert, we grabbed a zucchini chocolate muffin that was moist, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The space itself is really unique, feels like a cool cross between a diner and a car enthusiast's dream garage, in the best way. Tons of character without trying too hard. My favourite spot for lunch and a coffee! My favourite coffee, cappuccino, is consistently fantastic! I also love the variety of the food choices and pastries. Something new is popping up in the menu very often! You can tell that the stuff is well trained, and always super kind and lovely. Two owners guys are friendly and charming, and always make me smile and feel welcomed! Location is great and super convenient. I have been kind of curious about this cafe for a while and was finally incentivized to try it by their anniversary promo where they were offering free birthday cake with mobile orders. I was on the fence about the mobile ordering concept. I know it's convenient and/or saves anxiety for a lot of people, but I like having a little bit of personal interaction when I go to a coffee shop. However I gave it a try because placing a mobile order was part of the promo, and I can get on board with their execution of this concept. You can indicate if you plan on eating in so you can get your food plated instead of in takeout containers, and for drinks, they don't have in-house mugs (something they should add), but you can indicate if you're bringing a personal cup. And I had the nicest interaction with the two staff there when I arrived as well as a short chat about the food (they just adjusted the menu for fall) before I left, so that put the personal connection back in the experience. I didn't ask but it seems like they were the owners? They both seemed passionate about the cafe. When I placed my order, I selected that I wanted it ready ASAP and the estimated time was 5 minutes. I couldn't physically get there that fast but when I arrived 7-10 minutes later the food was ready, and they took my mug to make my drink, and brought that to my seat along with my cake in a timely manner. The menu looked promising - they have unique lattes and the food choices are distinct from the run-of-the-mill coffee shop fare - but I wasn't sure if the quality would be there or if the place was just relying on the appeal of the mobile ordering gimmick, but I'm happy to say everything was great! I got the fall harvest salad, a salted hojicha latte, and of course the birthday cake. I don't often order salads at coffee shops because I usually just think they sound less interesting or satisfying than other entrees, but this one had a bunch of ingredients and flavours that I love (very tasty dijon dressing), and the lentils, blue cheese, and sweet potato made it very satiating. The cake was great too - for a freebie, I was glad that it was "snack-size" because it made a nice sweet ending to my meal without feeling like too much of an indulgence. The cake was very moist and had a rich caramelly flavour. The salted hojicha latte was very interesting. If you like salted caramel things you will probably like this. The touch of salt added a unique depth to the tea, which was high quality. I think the prices are quite fair, especially for this area. There isn't a ton of seating, just one small high-top table, four window-bar seats, and a few tables outside off the sidewalk. The aesthetic is pretty minimalist, but it's not a bad vibe for hanging out to eat. I liked their music. The window seats are great for people-watching if you're into that. It's definitely a place I hope to visit again, and I'd recommend it to others even if you don't care about the mobile order gimmick, because this place showed me that it's not just about the mobile order - they have a great product and the mobile order is also there for your convenience. Wishing them a happy first anniversary and hoping there will be more to come! read more

Tried this spot for work and the group order was ready to be picked up when we arrived. The pastries and all the drinks were neatly arranged in takeout bags and all the hot drinks even had individual stickers to seal the lip from spilling which was perfect and....that was about it.... I got a pain au chocolat which looked fantastic right out of the box; you could see the textured layers but when you bit into it, it wasn't fresh and the layers did not flake. I also got the hojicha latte and was very excited for this since they use Paragon Tea's hojicha powder. I ordered mine with oat milk as I can't have dairy at all in my drinks. Although the cup had the current label with "oat milk", my fear with placing a unique order when doing a group order came true. The hojicha taste was very muted and after taking a few sips, I could taste the dairy in my drink so could not finish the rest of it. The hojicha latte tasted nothing like the one I love from the actual Paragon Tea shop so I was thoroughly disappointed. I can overlook the lack of hojicha taste but drinks with milk alternatives are the new normal at coffee shops nowadays, and as someone who can't actually have any dairy in their drinks, I was disappointed by the lack of care. read more

Do not order from here. I am typically chill and don't leave bad reviews, but this was a terrible experience. First, they were 10 minutes late. Fine, no big deal. I'm not in a hurry. Guy was nice, apologized and suggested they were short staffed. Cool. Walk back to hotel and open chicken barley soup. Like literally only two little pieces of chicken in the whole bowl. Ehh, okay, maybe I got the bottom of the pot. Unlucky me. It tasted fine otherwise. I take two bites from my patty melt sandwich--hmm that's weird. I open it up: no hamburger patty! Just the bacon I paid extra for and cheese. I didn't order a "melt"--I ordered a "patty" melt. Now, it's 6 and the place is closed so I can't go back and get a real sandwich. Avoid like the plague. You all should check this place out. It's really a grab and go coffee shop (there are about 5 seats at the counter), but it's really the technology that intrigued me. You do not place an order at the cash register but you can either pay and order through the website, scan their qr code, or app. Most importantly because of the technology, you have a consistent tasting drink. read more

The food here is not made to order. They have a small selection sandwiches that have precooked items then assembled to make the sandwich. I specifically asked if there was bacon on my sandwich and was told yes. When I got my sandwich it did not have bacon on it. They said they would add it with an up charge. The manager heard the conversation and said he would remake it. When I got it back the bacon was on it and steaming hot but the rest of the sandwich was cold. It tasted fine but would have been better if the whole sandwich was hot. read more

Something about the way it is made is so crave-worthy. You can taste the quality ingredients used in the lattes. They also had cream filled croissants that looked good, will get that next time.
