Service excellent. Super clean The yolk tots are amazing. I am not a tater tot person, these are next level. Bacon was crispy, not burnt English muffin perfectly toasted The beauty is this breakfast has to be the crispy French toast with jam and lemon curd. This dish would be served in heaven. The French toast was light and fluffy with just the right thickness. Then the lemon curd adds another level to the divine tastiness. The light coating of panko crumbs ........ yum

One of my favourite brunch places! I love their smokehouse bacon eggs benedict with their housemade hot sauce. I like the option of swapping out the English muffin and fruits for extra tater tots (or salad). Great location too.

    Really good beignets!

We came here cause it was right down the street from our hotel. We went on a Monday morning and it wasn't busy at all. The food was overall pretty tasty. The classic benedict was better than the bacon avocado one that I got. The hollandaise was really delicious. We also tried one of the pancakes and the beignets. I am so glad we tried a few different dishes, the beignets were really excellent.

Can we be honest: Dijon mustard doesn't go on Eggs Benedict in any situation. The place was small, but bright and I got seated quickly. The bathrooms were clean. It was near the hotel where I was staying. I got the fruit side which had a decent variety. Service was fine and not too intrusive.

I came here with my friend to have breakfast. I haven't been to Yolks in a long time. I remembered the last time I was there was at least 6 or 7 years ago and it was not this location. I ordered the duck confit egg benedict. The duck was a bit dry but it had a really good flavor to it. It came with a side. I picked the salad with truffle sauce. Service was good. I think next time I come I will just get my usual the smoked salmon egg benedict. The store is quite spacious and I was surprised that when we came there were many tables available. Guess it is no longer as busy as it used to be. Overall, I do recommend coming here for breakfast.

Amazing! The best breakfast ever!!! Eggs were perfection, potatoes perfection. Menu is great so many options. Food is fresh and looks amazing to the eye and the flavors don't disappoint. I was visiting and said I'm sad I had the best breakfast of my life, yet I live so far away to enjoy it daily as I would like. So if you're local you are blessed!! Service was good, no wait to be seated. Such a cute little spot.

Food - A great brunch place! The menu has many different egg options and their poached eggs are very well done. If you're a big fan of eggs, they have got your back. Service - Fast and friendly service, quick to help and food comes out fast Ambiance - Brunch & diner vibes with booth style seating available. Well lit and great for small groups.

Best eggs in town! No wait on a mid-week morning. The servers were great, and the shirts they wear actually say "Perfectly Poached," and they soooooo are! Seriously the best pouched eggs ever! Also the best tater tots I've ever had! I am super picky about how I like my tots. I really don't like any of them back home in the US. But here, in Canada at Yolks breakfast & lunch cafe, they got it right! I also love that they ask you how you would like your eggs, whether you're ordering scrambled or pouched. We prefer ours medium, and they got that exactly right too! Perfect slightly pulped orange juice as well. It was all excellent!

We were here for the Taylor Swift Eras tour, and Yolks fully embraced the Swifties! They were playing Taylor Swift music, and the server had friendship bracelets on and was so friendly. It was a 20-minute wait, and they let us know that they keep seatings to 45 minutes. I feel like that is a bit rushed, but the menu looked so good that we tried it out. Once seated, we ordered Expresso martinis, grilled cheese, and the mushroom bennie. For me, the Bennie had too much sauce on it, but I was sharing, so I didn't ask for it on the side like I usually do. The mushrooms and spinach were delicious. The egg was also not perfectly poached. The grilled cheese was buttery and cheesy. The tomato soup was creamy and perfect for dipping the grilled cheese into. It took a bit for our Expresso martinis to arrive, so they took $5 off each of our bills. The expresso was heavy on the expresso.

We had the best experience! Jade our server was amazing! Definitely ask for her if you are going there! :)

Great brunch place but needs work on some aspects. Do try to get there early otherwise there is quite a long waiting queue to get a table around lunch time on the weekend. Quite many options on the menu. My salmon eggs benedict where quite good and it was ni e to have the option notbto get tater tots. My side salad was good especially with the truffle sauce. Service was a bit hectic. The waiter made a mistake and I got the wrong side the first time so the plate had to go back to the kitchen. Food was a bit cold when it got back. The matcha latte I ordered was quite weak. Probably better to order a juice or smoothies instead. Also there was a mistake on the bill so again needed more time to fix that. Still I will go back to to give it another try since the food was good

    BEAST Benny
    Fiorella M.

Stopped by on our trip to Vancouver. We went before noon and it was busy so we had to wait about 20 mins but it was all worth it! I ordered the special, the Beast Benny, which included bacon, egg, avocado, spinach and tomato on an English muffin and all topped with hollandaise sauce. It came with a side of perfectly crisped tater tots and a couple slices of fruit. It was divine. The tater tots were probably some of the best tots I've ever had. I finished that off with an oat iced latte - which was quite smooth, I might add! I was even able to get a to-go cup for the rest of my coffee when we left. Will definitely be going by again on my next trip to Vancouver.

Best jalapeño cream chicken waffle egg Benedict I've ever had! So instead of choosing eggs Benedict or chicken waffles they combined my two favourite breakfast food into One dish. Brilliant! Take my money. I went midday during the weekday so it was not busy at all and was seated all by myself in the corner hidden away from the rest of the people. It gave me the privacy to just eat the whole thing in peace. I think the waiter was surprised I was able to finish it all cause he asked if I needed a take out box instead of looking at my plate but saw the guilty look on my face.

Jam Cafe, Vancouver Jam Cafe is my favorite brunch spot. Anywhere. That sounds like an exaggeration. It isn't. I've been traveling to Vancouver for work for almost a decade, and every single trip includes a stop at Jam. If I'm lucky, two. I've also become that coworker who convinces everyone to meet outside at 7:45 in the morning so we can be part of the first seating at 8:00. Thankfully, we're all from the East Coast and have been awake since 5:00 anyway. Over the years I've successfully JAMfluenced more business travelers than I'd like to admit. And yes, it's still worth the wait even if you're not first in line. The restaurant itself is tiny. Cozy farmhouse vibes, mismatched decorations covering the walls, and maybe 15 tables between the dining room and patio. It feels more like someone's favorite neighborhood breakfast spot than one of Vancouver's brunch institutions. The menu is comfort food turned up to eleven. Everything is indulgent, creative, and somehow still balanced. You can tell the kitchen starts with great ingredients because every component tastes like it could stand on its own. I try to branch out every visit... and then usually end up ordering the Tater Tot Bowl anyway. Crispy tater tots, buffalo sauce, Mexican street corn relish, and ridiculously good pulled pork. It's the kind of dish that sounds like it shouldn't work, but every bite somehow gets better than the last. And then there are the cinnamon roll pancakes. They are enormous. They're also one of the best brunch dishes I've ever eaten. Birdfluencer Lorraine M. declared them the best pancakes she's ever had, and after several visits, I don't have much of an argument. Service is exactly what it needs to be. Friendly, efficient, and quick. The staff knows there's a line forming outside before the doors even open, but you never feel rushed. Overall, Jam Cafe has officially become part of my Vancouver tradition. At this point, a work trip to the city doesn't really start until I've had breakfast here. If you're visiting Vancouver and only have time for one brunch, this would be my pick without a second thought.

I chose to sit outside on the patio instead of inside at the bar to take in that Canadian Vitamin D! It was sunny and hot, but the patio had a great view and was perfect for people-watching. My server, Dursh (or something close to that), was really cool. He asked my name, made me feel welcomed, and gave solid recommendations. He even picked my drink for me, which I ended up enjoying. He suggested a Benedict dish, but I'm not a fan of runny eggs. I had already decided on the El Camino poutine and plot twist....it also came with two runny poached eggs. Even so, it was still delicious, mainly because the yolk texture wasn't an issue with the crema on the dish. That poutine was an easy 9/10. It came loaded with cheese curds, pork carnitas that weren't dry at all, bacon, pinto beans, roasted pineapple for a little sweetness, salsa, jalapeños, pickled onions, salsa verde, cilantro crema, and spinach. The herb potatoes were seasoned so well too. All in all, a great last meal in Vancouver from the food to the service (even beyond Dursh, everyone was helpful) to the patio vibe. Great spot.
