Quaint little place. There are about 6 tables inside and three outside. I did a to-go order this morning. Restraunt was clean and not packed at 11am. It does not have a huge menu but does have vegan options. If you leave hungry, it is your fault. Portions are large. Definitely a good place for breakfast.

This is one of the few places that was open on a weekend for breakfast in the downtown area. I got here early right when it opened and had no trouble ordering and getting a seat. The food took a while to come out, but when it did, it was fairly good. The restaurant filled up fast and by the time I left, there was a line out the door.

In full transparency we came here because the other two restaurants we had in mind had long lines. Then, we appended to take a chance on this place and discovered it had decent review. Seating here is very limited and while the menu is small it has many excellent options. Staff is fairly hands off, they are not overly welcoming and don't really check in on you once your food is delivered. They do; however, pressure you to leave once you have finished eating, quickly clearing the table. All that aside the food was tasty as was the coffee and once you order at the counter and are seated, the food comes out relatively fast. This is impressive considering all drinks are made to order as are the food options . I had the Breakfast bowl be it was cheesy and delicious with a perfectly poached egg and tasty hollandaise sauce. I also had an Americano which was piping hot and very tasty. There aren't any frills about this place salt and pepper were actually empty at the table and I had to flag someone down for cream and sugar. But it's a great spot overall and I'd return if in the area again. Also, street parking is easy!

This place is a small but in demand breakfast nook. There's a good reason for that - it is absolutely delicious. My wife and I enjoyed breakfast here a couple of days ago, and we decided to split orders of salmon Benedict and crab Benedict, both being served over a bagel rather than the beautiful waffles they had, simply because that is our preference. The service was fast, the tables were clean, and the food was delicious. Service was impeccable, and the staff could not be more polite. The chai lattes also rounded out the meal very well, and overall, we felt this was one of the better breakfast that we have had in recent years. Highly recommended for people living in and visiting Vancouver. we will be back!

Came here for breakfast while in Vancouver based on the suggestion of a family member who lives here. It is a very small place and can be crowded so be prepared to wait for a little. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The food is very good. The Belgian waffles are delicious- not hard, but slightly crispy outside and soft and airy on the inside. I'd definitely come back if I was from the area.

This breakfast spot was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. You have to order at the counter and then you take a seat. We had the hot breakfast and the breakfast bowl (without the hollandaise and arugula. Both were very good! The smashed potatoes have great flavor and the sausage is also very flavorful. It's a small place that doesn't take reservations but I recommend giving it a try when you are in town.

Cute little spot across the street from our Hotel. We had the salmon benny on waffles. SO GOOD! It smells amazing in there! The fresh waffle smell fills the air. Makes it so hard to choose what to get. All of the breakfast items we saw looked amazing. Would definitely go back again!

This place has the most incredible breakfast! The waffles melt in your mouth. It's light and fluffy yet crisp. The hollandaise sauce tastes amazing. I am picky about hollandaise sauce and this passed the test. They know how to make their bacon! It's not too crisp and it's not too underdone. My only complaint is the coffee has no free refills but it's absolutely smooth and delicious. You can drink a gallon of coffee here it's so good lol! Before your pictures in there enjoying the Great friendly service and casual ambiance.

If you consider yourself at all someone who knows and appreciates quality food, you'll want to skip this place. Here's why. The place itself is tiny and not very clean, but I thought maybe it's one of those holes in the wall that just serves amazing food. That wasn't the case. We ordered the Mixed Berry Waffle and the Salmon Benny. Salmon Benny: The dish came with dirty fingerprints on the edge (Yummmm!) The egg came soft, the Salmon was turning colour and tasted unusually fishy (see pic.) The potatoes had brown scrapes on them....not sure if that was seasoning or oven scrapes....let's hope it was seasoning....(see pic.) The Arugula had also gotten rotten and turning yellow. I stopped eating less than half way through....the whole dish was actually disgusting. A few minutes after we left the place.......I started getting a headache and my throat started to burn.... The Mixed Berry Waffle was average, at best. So, the deal with this place is .....you show up...order a new Mercedes Benz, pay for it, sit down and they show up and serve you a rusty bicycle with a tire missing and a torn seat.......they look at you and say, "saddle up buddy and enjoy!." Yup. That pretty much sums it up.

First off, this is the best Belgian waffle I have ever had, and it is my favorite food. The staff are very friendly and the process of ordering and paying and then sitting is quick and efficient. When we were there, the place had a nice ambiance of a French cafe, with old French music playing was very pleasant. It is small, but I saw a couple of tables of 4-6 all three times we went. read more

This little restaurant on Robson St in Vancouver is a must have for breakfast. When we arrived the restaurant was busy, but the service was so quick. We received a menu right away and were able to order and pay before being seated making getting our food that much faster! We still received table side service. We chose to sit outside since the weather was crisp and beautiful, however inside was just as charming. We both ordered a Benny. One salmon and ine ham with a bagel (you can also chose a savory waffle to have your Benny on) there were several choices of coffee so we went with the cappuccino and a latte, both great choices! read more

Found this place randomly after another spot was two busy. So happy that happened the space was small however the wait wasn't long. You Order first then you are seated. The coffee was good the waffles were crisp and delicious. Service was so so not a lot of interaction however the little interaction we had was pleasant. The restaurant is quite small and generally has a line up to get in. They do not take reservations. We only waited for 5 minutes before getting a table, however the tables are very close together so it makes you feel like you are not having a private meal. On the flip size, service and food was amazing. I tried the chicken and waffles and definitely want to come back for seconds. read more

I tried the Huevos Rancheros and an Iced latte. The latte was Ok, but the eggs were not. The tomato sauce the pour on top of the beans and eggs was cold (like just taken out of the fridge) the first bite was awful. Feeling the warmth of the beans and eggs and the cold of the tomato sauce made me remember my lazy breakfasts at home. The service was good and the ambience as well. However, please don't try huevos rancheros. read more

The best waffles I have ever had in my life, and I have eaten a lot of waffles. Crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. They were insanely good. You have to eat it fresh and right away. You can see the manager making the waffles and how attentive she is. Do not come here looking for pancakes. First come first serve, limited seating and you order and pay at the front counter before sitting. Came here with my husband, and he got the Salmon Benny on top of a waffle and I got the Majesty waffle with fruit. His had smoked salmon, avocado, arugula salad, herbed potatoes, perfectly poached eggs, and a heavenly hollandaise. You can opt for bun or English muffin instead of waffle if you want. My Majesty waffle came topped with slice banana and strawberries along with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, a dollop of whipped cream, drizzled with honey and covered in crunchy Love. We also had a cappuccino and an americano, both served piping hot in big mugs. 100% highly recommend coming here! Will be my go to spot any time I'm back in Vancouver. read more

Super cute place! We ordered at the front and then grabbed a seat. Drinks came out super fast and food shortly after. The breakfast bowl was soooo tasty! Can't really go wrong with hollandaise sauce! The staff was very sweet and we got lucky that the place was empty when we showed up around 830am on a Sunday because it was full by the time we left. read more

Amazing waffles at this little spot! We were just visiting for the weekend, and needed some brunch before leaving town. The waffles were crisp but so fluffy inside, topped with fresh berries and whip. The coffee was decent, the others seemed to really like their cappuccinos! All of us cleared our plates. The staff was very nice and service was seamless even for how busy it was. I will say this place is small. It is designed for small groups. If you have a group of 4+, there are few seating options. You order first, then grab a seat. So once you order you have to know what table you want to try and grab. We were a group of 5, so thankfully another large group was leaving right after we ordered. read more

Like most restaurants we visited on this side of town the space is very small, intimate and cozy. There can be a wait to be seated but once you are seated the food comes out very quickly. You order and pay before you are seated to eat. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was all delicious and freshly prepared. I enjoyed the light crunchy texture of the waffles. Eat breakfast here back to back because I was very pleased with service and food. Also love the tea pots which I was told came from Turkey. read more

I always see a line outside this place and wanted to try it out. You line up and order/pay before getting seated. I got the My Lady Waffle and it was delicious. I loved the homemade Belgian mousse and the waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My partner got an eggs Benny and the potatoes were so tasty! Nice quaint family operated breakfast joint. Go for their weekday $10 breakfast special, that's right I'm not dreaming, unheard of in Vancouver. Bacon, 2 eggs cooked to your preference, large moist crust waffle Strange set up where you order and pay before taking your seat 2 friendly efficient staff attentive to your needs, salt, pepper, butter, etc. Everything cooked up fresh like a real breakfast should be Nice selection of regular bennies. (Written by my 13 year old) Hey preppys!! Welcome to today's breakfast review! Today we enjoyed Le Petit Belge, and I can say it may be the best waffle I've ever had! There was a line out the door, but barely any wait. I can tell y'all the food was just about the definition of bussin bussin. I personally had the My Lady Waffle and my big back ate it upppp. It had scrumdiddy yum yum chocolate mousse, tons of strawberries, and whipped cream. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meals, and overall, I can give this restaurant the official stamp of slay. read more

My little sister wanted waffles for her birthday and so glad we found this place! Ooh the waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The piece de resistance? The ice cream! Surprisingly, the ice cream stood out to us more than anything! Wherever the ice cream is from, we approved! Sooo good! Obviously the waffles were great too All of it came together so well! My little sister left very happy! Even the ambiance was peaceful and the staff were incredibly polite ! Great experience :) read more

Great food and amazing service. My only complaint is the silver ware. I know, I'm that guy. My knife was not strong enough to cut there the BENNI that I ordered. I got a little frustrated but other than that I highly recommend. read more

I went here with a friend. The food was good, and tasty. The lady there was friendly and the service was quick. It is a nice little restaurant. It specializes in Waffles. It does have other food as well. It is a breakfast, brunch place. I asked how late they are open till. The lady said until 8pm. If you are craving waffles or something different, come check out this restaurant. The prices aren't overly cheap but it isn't to bad. I forgot to mention that you pay when you order your food. They also sell coffee grounds there , brilliant. If you are close by, I would def stop by and grab a personalize cup of bullet proof coffee and check out the racks.

A few could be better are the pricing and temperature. They offer free oat milk substitute and -$0.35 for bringing your own cup but no more employee discount. And it was so cold in there, I could see a lot of people kept their winter jackets on, I don't think it's a heating issue but the constant windy seems to suggest the AC is on rather than the heater, oh wells Im out of there now. For that reason, unless I'm bundled up, it'll be a hard sale to be back again! I got a hojicha latte and it as pretty good, perfect sweetness and temperature for my cold with no ice. The barista was super great to work with.

I've had them at other places but I've never seen a preparation like 49th. They use loose leaf Earl Gray tea in a tall paper tea bag. They put the bag in your cup pour the steamed milk in and the tea steeps right into the milk. It's the smoothest London Fog I've had and isn't cloyingly sweet like many I've had.

I always order the 3 pieces (1 wing, 1 drum & 1 thigh with fries or rice) for $9.39. You can ask for a mix of spicy or original but think the spicy is better and not too hot. I usually can't finish and take the rest home. Open 24 hours and considered the best deal in town for the portion of food you get. The decor is not fancy more like a hole-in-the-wall but that is what I love about it! They are here to impress you with the food and not the decor. The colourful orange and green bench seatings were originally from their shop on Main and 33rd so I love seeing them as it's reminded me of their good old days when you see motorcycles mixed with Mercedes cars in their parking lot.

The server apologized for the mistake, and I let it go, thinking we didn't have to drink it all. However, when the bill arrived, the price didn't match the quote. We were charged $25, not the $20 we were originally told when the 64-oz pitcher showed up, with the explanation that the regular price was $35 and that we had "saved" money. In the end, we were served twice the beer we wanted and paid twice what we intended, based on information that kept changing. Whether this was incompetence or intentional, it left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. The food and atmosphere really were great -- but the experience was overshadowed by feeling manipulated. Enjoy the food and beer, but pay close attention to what the wait staff tells you and what ends up on the bill.

Everything looked so good, so narrowing down our pick was very hard! At the end, we ordered two flavours- Matcha and Tiramisu. The matcha doughnut was soft and the filling was light yet full of matcha flavour that one would expect, I loved every bite! My friend had the tiramisu doughnut and she said that she enjoyed the fluffy texture of the dough and the creamy filling- it felt like eating tiramisu in a doughnut form. If you love simple yet high quality ingredients, this place is the perfect place to get your sweet cravings fixed!

Flavor was maple and representing Canada! Green colored sponge reminded me of soccer fields, and cute soccer ball chocolate on the top of donut. Maple cream filling was light, not overly sweet and delicious. It was very good item to bring watch party with family or friends. Highly recommend!

I stopped by The Lobster Man while exploring Granville Island Public Market…read more It's a small spot with no real place to eat inside, so plan on grabbing your food and finding a seat somewhere around the market. Service was kinda blah, they said the words but weren't friendly like teens forced to do something (I don't think they were teens btw). I ordered the warm lobster roll and a prawn cocktail. Unfortunately, the lobster roll was a letdown. It wasn't very warm, the lobster itself didn't have much flavor, tasted off and the whole sandwich was just kind of dry. Thank goodness I also ordered the prawn cocktail because it saved the meal. It wasn't anything fancy, but the prawns were a good size and gave me something I actually halfway enjoyed. Overall, I didn't have the experience I was looking forward to.

When entering the cafe, we were instructed to look at the menu and place our order prior to being seated. Having a late lunch after workout, I opted for the smoked salmon waffle. Despite a previous illness from smoked salmon in another country, I decided to satisfy my sudden craving. To my delight, the smoked salmon was pleasantly mild, not overly salty or fishy. Their poached eggs were perfectly cooked topped with hollandaise sauce, with their oozy yolks adding to the enjoyment. The highlight for me, however, was the Belgian waffles. They were thicker and crunchier yet remarkably light and airy compared to their American counterparts. If you haven't tried this place yet, you don't know what you're missing!! They have the best waffles and the best croissant in Vancouver! I like the taste of plain waffle but the other waffles with toppings are good as well.. Its a small place and the menu is limited but once you try it you will crave it! read more

Fantastic new addition to the neighborhood. Hard three Royal waffle, Breakfast waffle, chocolate fondue, they were all great. Just don't order the orange juice. read more
