Had an absolutely memorable stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim during our vacation in Vancouver. The lobby and lobby lounge/bar area is stunning. Everything here feels modern, clean, and luxurious. Our room was beautiful, especially the bathroom with its dual sinks, separate bathtub and rain shower, and separate area for toilet. The Le Labo products were a nice touch, and everything from the towels, robes, slippers, and bedding felt luxe and high end. These beds and pillows were some of the best hotel beds/pillows I've ever slept on. We all slept so well! We also ordered room service for breakfast and everything was so good, with reasonable room service prices for the amount you get. Didn't use the gym, but it's recently renovated and beautiful. They provide iced water infused with electrolytes and there are even Pilates machines! There's also a heated rooftop outdoor pool that we didn't have time to take advantage of too. Not only is this hotel amazing, but it's in a prime location to everything - especially if you're a first time visitor to Vancouver. It's super easy to hop on the shuttle to the suspension bridge, or take a sea boat or hop on the subway to/from the airport. It's also walking distance to Gastown, Robson Street, Stanley Park and the Seawall. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the city! read more

This review is for their spa wellness area! My friend treated me to a little spa circuit day for my birthday and it was so relaxing! The timeslots are for 3 hours which is the perfect amount of time to lounge around and experience all that it has to offer. We checked in on the 5th floor and the staff showed us around and explained everything we were able to use clearly which was great. They provide towels, robes, and sandals so you really don't need to bring much. The ladies area had a steam room and hydrotherapy shower as well as a private lounge and then the co-ed area had a sauna and 2 hot tubs. They also provide water, tea, and some tasty small snacks to enjoy while you're there and you're able to order food (for an additional cost) if you'd like. We went on a Thursday evening and it was super empty but I wonder if they limit the number of passes since the amenities are quite small. Overall I was a fan for a relaxing day and would go back! read more

The stay at fairmont pacific rim was top notch. I absolutely loved our view, Vancouver was foggy with peak sunny times and we got to see it overlooking the mountains. When we came in, we were welcomed by hosts that led us to the check in reception and our agent was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I wish I could remember his name because he was passionate about food recommendations and it was exactly what we were looking for. All the amenities was the best I've ever seen. We were even able to request for eucalyptus spray for the shower, which was my favorite brand. I was blown away by all the added little details that made this experience incredible. They had chauffeur Mercedes 2025 EQE to take you around downtown that was complimentary. Very very well done fairmont pacific rim 10/10. read more

Had a great time on the staycation. We visited the Willow stream spa as I've heard great things about it. It was very nice and the service there was very good. There were fewer rooms available that I'd expected, but everything was clean and there were always people at your service. We went in the evening and the view was beautiful with all the Christmas lights everywhere. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to see the view in the day but actually I preferred the evening. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and no complaints whatsoever. We spent time in the lounge and it is a beautiful lounge. The only thing I found was that was a bit pricey. I had an Irish coffee and the other party had an old-fashioned and that came up to be over $70 on my hotel bill so I a little confused about that. Our room was on the 17th floor and it was clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view. read more

The hotel is wonderful and the concierge was super helpful but the hostesses at the restaurant and the lobby bar are militant. I give the lobby Bar 3 stars, I give the hotel 5 stars. The reason is I wanted to sit by the fire in the lobby bar for 5 minutes while I waited for my family to come downstairs and she kicked me out because I had a coffee in my hands that I had purchased elsewhere. She said it was because the bar was serving lunch which I could understand IF it was busy but the place was mostly empty. Not welcoming at All!' read more

The lobby's bustling vibe provides great people watching, sushi and cocktails. Our room was so pristine and beautiful that we had to push ourselves to leave. The service was anticipatory and professional, which made us feel welcome and valued. Our experience at the hotel's restaurant, Botanist, was outstanding from start to finish. Not at all your typical hotel dining experience. It offers a creative menu that delivers even better than it sounds. I love coming here to eat and drink in the lobby lounge. I try to sit at the bar when I can but it's usually full. When it's really busy, you definitely need a reservation. They have live piano music sometimes and they provide complementary nuts as you see my picture. It felt really refreshing and exciting staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver for two nights with my parents, because the whole place had this lively and modern atmosphere that teenagers would enjoy a lot. Even just walking through the lobby felt playful in its own way, with the big stylish decorations and the relaxing music that made the environment feel welcoming instead of rushed. I noticed a lot of teenagers around the hotel during my stay, especially in the lobby areas and near the outdoor spaces, and it made sense to me because the hotel has this youthful energy that makes you want to explore and take pictures. The views from the hotel were surprisingly beautiful, especially when you look out at the water, and it felt like the kind of scenery that teenagers would love capturing for fun photos. I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy inside the hotel until I walked around more, because every corner had something interesting to look at or a cozy spot to relax in without feeling pressured to hurry. I appreciated how easy it was to have a peaceful and enjoyable time there with my parents, and I never doubted that the experience would turn out the way I hoped it would. I only stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel one time in my life before making this review, but those two nights were some of the most enjoyable and relaxing nights I've had. I would highly recommend that even teenagers go to this hotel because it gives them a place to feel inspired, take pictures, enjoy the atmosphere, and feel creative in a calm but exciting environment. read more

We had corner room with soaking tub facing the Pacific Rim promenade. I was touched how much they pay attention to the details. We were celebrating Christmas and we had our own Christmas tree in the room, as well as complementary socks, muffin and notebook set from Moleskin by Fairmont as a gifts. Breakfast at the Botanist was absolutely amazing. Our favorites were pistachio croissant, egg benedict with salmon, crab and avocado toast. Also fresh fruits and detox drinks were good, We tried them all for 3 days. Also I highly recommend sushi bar at the lobby, it's in Michelin Guide recommended and their sushi is very very good. We ate there at least 3 times during our stay. Our stay was really great, relaxing and nice. We spent a lot of time in our hotel because it was also rainy, snowy and also because we had amazing services by hotel. The pool was great addition to the stay. Can you imagine swimming during Christmas holidays, snow outside in a nice outdoor heated pool in Canada in the middle of the winter? This was absolutely memorable Christmas for us. Fresh drinking water was provided every day in the room. Umbrella service in the lobby or you can take from your room. Live music in the lobby , they also prioritize hotel guests first for sushi bar and lobby lounge. Thanks to Michael at the guest services. He helped us with reservations, recommendations where to go and give us a map, explained us everything so we felt very special. Love, Love, Love this place. I'd give this more stars if I could. I was there July 3-7 2025. The property is gorgeous, the room was clean, quiet, modern and super swanky. Very, very nice without being pretentious. I stayed in room 1812. First off, I needed to upgrade my room and add an additional day to my stay, even though I had booked the room months in advance, which I did over the phone and as a result I had two separate reservations. Upon arrival, the staff was able to quickly figure out my status and checked me in an hour early! The staff were super friendly, courteous and thoughtul. Turndown service *check*, Ipad that controls the lights and curtains *check*, the room attendant even offered to show me all of the room features! *check* I declined the offer, but instantly regretted it when I wanted to turn off all of the lights but leave the bathroom night lights illuminated. I've stayed here as well as their sister property a block away (Fairmont Waterfront) and although that other property had a better view of the water, I prefered the vibe in this room. The only thing is that it ain't cheap - but it definitely worth the money. Save up and treat yo'self for a weekend getaway. You can thank me later. read more

I love any fairmont anywhere in the world. So this one made the list for me as it's super clean, nice and amazing staff. It's right there where all the action happening in this town. Like walking distance to so many places. You do have to be prepared for the sudden rain. Rooms are okay sizes for any fairmont I have stayed at before. But beds are very comfortable, the only disappointment for me is my view is blocked I don't know what is this Iron thing. Food in the in room dining is pretty good and so easy to order. They are kinda of fast to bring the food with very busy hotel. That tells me they are doing amazing job keeping good amount of staff. Next time I am in Vancouver will be staying here again for sure! read more

I love this hotel. I enjoyed my stay here so much, I didn't want to leave. The hospitality is exceptional. We were here for our anniversary and were greeted with 2 glasses of champagne upon arrival. Stayed in the Gold level, which I highly recommend. They have a chef there in the mornings to make breakfast, which I have to say was incredible. We looked forward to it every day. The gold concierge team was so helpful and got us into some hard to get restaurants that we were hoping to try out. They even informed them it was our anniversary so we had extra special evenings. The location is great with amazing views of the harbor. They have electric bikes available for guests, which unfortunately were all in service during our trip so we weren't able to use them. I do wish they had kept a couple so guests would have some bikes to use. Fortunately, they had helmets so we were able to rent the commuter bikes. Overall, this is 1 of my top 5 favorite hotels I've stayed at. I would absolutely come here again. read more

We stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim this weekend and it was such a treat! Much needed little getaway and we had a lovely time. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Every single part is stunning - the lobby, lounge, the pool deck, our room, etc. Our room was great and we had a view of the pool deck and a partial view of the water. My favorite part of our room was the tub and the Le Labo toiletries! The room was very luxurious and it was cool how the iPad controls everything in the room. Our check-in process was pretty smooth. The lady helping us was very sweet and even gave us recommendations on things to do in Vancouver during our stay. There was an error with charging our card but it was resolved and she explained what happened. We did unfortunately have one notable bad experience with the service while we were trying to grab breakfast at the restaurant since we had complimentary breakfast included in our stay. We were unable to be seated due to the restaurant being full and we went down to ask the front desk what we could do and if in-room dining was an option. The lady working was fairly rude to us and all she said was that she didn't know and we had to go find someone else to ask. This is the only reason why I had to knock the rating down to 4 stars instead of 5. The in-room dining servers gave us the best service by far. They were all so kind and helpful! The pool and hot tub are wonderful. We went last night and it was the perfect way to end our night. Great ambiance, I love how there's string lights and heat lamps around the area. The pool is very warm and the perfect temperature despite the cold weather outside, we stayed in for nearly an hour. There's also a sauna and cold plunge that can use if you make a reservation. We went to the Fairmont for a quick getaway trip, and we loved mostly everything about this Fairmont location. We loved the food, the in-room dining service, the pool, and the hot tub. This hotel is in a central location for walking around Vancouver. This hotel feels like luxury living. The only reason why this 5-star hotel does not get a 5-star review is because of the horrible and rude service that I received when talking with the front desk. I went to the first desk and asked, "Can I still get my complementary breakfast through in-room dining because the restaurant was not taking any more customers." The front desk attendant did not even look at me; she just stared at her computer. After asking her, she rudely said with attitude, "I don't know, go talk to the manager of the restaurant." After, I decided I would call room service myself and ask. After calling room service, they said that they could bring it to the room, and that would not be a problem. This made me so confused why the front desk attendant did not know that and had to be rude about the whole interaction. Even though I had that one bad experience, everyone else in the hotel was so nice and gave us one of the best experiences that we could ask for! Perfect location, right across from the Vancouver Convention Centre. We had an incredible room (1210) that faced the water. The bathtub was very deep, and a little seat was built so you can sit in the tub while facing the stunning water view. The hotel was very modern, and the staff was very professional and made us feel welcome. We even received complimentary champagne sent to our room after checking in! Valet and self-parking are the same cost at $55/day. It took a while to get our car back upon checkout, but there were many others looking to leave around the same time as us. Rooms and food were great. Service in the lobby restaurant, lounge and the concierges was excellent. The reception, not so much. Had a big issue with reception that I have advised the hotel about but have yet to hear back from. In a nutshell, they did not honor what I thought was an AMEX Platinum Luxury Hotel package and I lost out on a couple hundred dollars worth of benefits. The young reception agent should read Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara because what he did, hussle me after a long flight, basically questioning my truthfulness in a sauve way was better suited for a Motel 6. For almost $700/night, it would have been appropriate for them to have handled the situation better. I have an investigation underway at AMEX. Not coming back. read more

We booked Virtuoso and the hotel had proper recognition of benefits. We've stayed once before in a regular room and this time in the signature ofuro room, and would highly recommend the latter. The regular rooms were perfectly fine -- better than the small standard room we had at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia -- whereas the ofuro room was truly great and had panoramic views of both the harbor and city. read more

We booked two nights here before our cruise left for Alaska. The hotel is walking distance to the port for cruises, and train station for the airport. Even with 5 kids under 10 in tow, the walk to the port and train station with luggage was East. There is quiet a bit to do around it. We walked a lot, but also called upon one of the four house cars for a ride on occasion. The rooms are very nice. We had a handicap room, so we had a gigantic shower and the room looked the same as the other rooms my in-laws had. The turn down service is top notch - slippers, music, lights...! We also really enjoyed sneaking downstairs for food, drinks and music! Their lobby is a happening place. The concierge and car services were great as well. I'd love to stay here again. read more

I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It felt the most luxurious from the huge room, to the motorized shades, and the private ofuro (Japanese style) tub. The tub was my favorite, after a long day of adventuring, we'd draw a bath and relax the rest of the night. Each time we would come back to our room, it was clean, and stocked, morning and evening. Great turn down services. All the employees are very welcoming and there to answer any questions. They even have a courtesy vehicle that can take you around Vancouver for free. The views are breathtaking of the harbor and occasional cruise ships arriving and seaplanes landing. And I loved that they had live music in the front of hotel and inside! The one thing I wish they had was a separate adult & kids pool. Many kids this time at the pool, made the Ofuro tub so much worth the extra cost! Everything is very central to this location! Denman street (Tiny restaurants and all the cheaper bike and e-scooter shops) , Granville street (malls and shops), Canada place (aquarium), Stanley park (rent e-scooters, easier to get around all the bad bikers and more fun!), English Bay Beach for sunsets (party central), Gastown (souvenir shopping). Then it's about a 15-25min Uber across the bridge to visit Granville market (9am-6pm), Richmond night market (7-11pm), Lynn suspension bridge (free), Grouse Grind, Grizzly Bear Habitat. read more

This place absolutely, 100% has it D O W N! 5 Stars. Full Stop. Pulled in and the valet was at my door. Room key machine wasn't working, so we received two complimentary drinks, escorted to our room and keys were waiting when we can down for dinner about 45 minutes later. This is a good place to mention to complimentary car service (Benzo or Caddy) which was a 10 minute wait so a cab was hailed for me. But it was available when I wanted to return. "Yes sir, we'll be to Hy's in ten minutes and ten minutes it was. We felt like royalty. The room ... perfect. Quiet no loud HVAC cr*p. The bed ...sooo comfy. The water was hot the body products L Labo. Fantastic. The valet didn't answer in the AM ... so turned my key in at the desk and asked for the car to be brought up. Walked outside, the guy who hailed the cab and recommended dinner asked how our meal was, another gentleman asked if we wanted water for the ride home and give us a recommendation for lunch, and then I hear my name being called ...my car was right there! What??? did the dude have it in his wallet? And here's the kicker. The guy who brought my car up exited with a Sprite can and a coffee cup - I'd left the day before. "Would it be okay if it got rid of this garbage for you?" I almost cried. You tell me the last time a valet asked to take your garbage. Everyone smiles. Every motion means something.
