The room was also spacious and clean Top tier service. Hair wash and body soap products affixed to wall. In room safe, ironing board, coffee maker, cups and utensils. Comfy bedding. Valet was very quick and nice. Will not forget our special anniversary here. Tip: walkable (uphill) to Robson street and great area for people watching but gets very quiet at 8-9pm. read more

We had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific. My husband had booked a room for my birthday. When we checked in we were informed that we had been given a complimentary upgrade. What a beautiful room! We had a panoramic view of the harbour and mountains. We could see all the activity around the pool. The room was beautiful, well appointed and spacious. While we were in the room there was a knock on the door and we were given a lovely chocolate cake with happy birthday written on the plate. What a wonderful surprise that was. The bed was very comfortable and it was a treat to enjoy the evening in the room after dinner. We slept very well. We parked in the parking lot under the hotel. The staff were all very helpful Pan Pacific helped to make my birthday truly memorable. read more

Date of stay: July 21, 2025 When we were stranded in Vancouver for another night due to Alaska Airlines latest IT debacle, we needed a place to stay for a night. Since we had just gotten off the cruise ship and were at the port, the Pan Pacific Vancouver seemed like the perfect place to crash for the night. This hotel essentially exists for cruisers as you don't have to leave the hotel grounds to reach your ship. Understandably the rooms were not ready in the morning so we stashed our bags with the friendly porters and went out and about for a while. When rooms were ready we had a little miscommunication with our bags but ended up resolving that. The rooms were spacious but dated. Very few USB ports available and while the bathroom vanities were very nice, the tub and shower area could use a refresh. Our bath mat was also stained, a surprising misstep for a hotel that can reach $800/night at peak times. read more

So, I stayed here because it promised access to the cruise port. It's about half an hour from the airport, and nice men greeted us by taking the suitcases, telling us to check in, and promising to deliver them after we called with our room number. Check in was a floor up, and elevator problems made getting a ride take forever. Of course, there are no benches. Then the lobby has places to sit across from check in, a fountain further down to sit at, and restrooms hidden behind a wall. One nice staff member let us use the employee elevator because the public ones were so terrible. The room was naturally as far down as possible. I cried. But the room service food was delicious, the burger tasty and fries well cooked. The bed was the softest, most comfortable thing ever, and I was buried underneath the covers and dead to the world. The harbor view overlooked a gas station on the lake and sea planes a plenty. The toilet has its own room inside the bathroom. There was soap, shampoo and conditioner but not the latter in travel bottles. The hotel took the luggage to the cruise ship - they recommend $5 tip per bag, and you have to wait with the luggage, and worth every moment not to fight with it to the cruise port! The hotel did have an elevator to go down towards the cruise port. It wasn't as convenient as I thought, I pictured as least being next to it instead of having to trek past the gym and through a bus parking lot. Then there was more trekking through security.... Love this hotel! I booked using points and upgraded for use of the lounge, which was well worth it! I was very impressed with the level of service. We had an issue with our tv remote and someone quickly came to resolve It. We needed bellhop to help us transfer our bags to the cruise ship - easy breezy. The phone calls are picked up quickly. The Pacific Club Lounge was amazing! They provide continental breakfast, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and dessert hour in the evening. In addition to snacks, cookies and non-alcoholic beverages, they also have a self service honor bar for alcoholic beverages. I enjoyed visiting the lounge with all of its offerings, a great view from the 23rd floor with a relaxing vibe. The special touches including chocolates and Perrier delivered to our room and turn down service with chocolates on our bed were appreciated. We also enjoyed the view from our room while we wait to board the ship. Would definitely stay here again for the next cruise. read more

This hotel has one of the best locations - its got a scenic view and it's nestled downtown where you're close to a ton of restaurants and shopping. We purchased a package deal for 3 nights and included a daily breakfast buffet. Again, I can't express enough just how beautiful this location is. Imagine having breakfast while sitting in their restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. It's the kind of ambiance you long for especially while on vacation. If you are taking a cruise from Vancouver this is the place you need to stay. Not only are the harbor views amazing but you can literally take the elevator down to the loading area for your ship. The hotel offers baggage service to your ship as well. It is a short walk from the SkyTrain Waterfront station which can get you there from the airport. Everything, from the original booking to check out, was top-notch! I originally booked online, then saw an offer for a Harbor View Club Room, so I contacted the hotel to change our reservation. I received an almost immediate response from Arvin dela Rosa, who was a great help to me in making the changes. When I mentioned that our trip was partially in celebration of my husband's birthday, he made a note of that as well. When we arrived and walked into the ground-level doors, we were greeted, offered assistance, and directed to the lobby level for check-in. The reservation agents were friendly and professional. Since we arrived at the hotel before our check-in time, we were given our keys and encouraged to visit the Pacific Club for refreshments and a place to rest after a long morning of travel... what a blessing! Our room was ready fairly soon after, and our luggage was also brought up quickly. We were greatly impressed upon entering the room. Other reviews have mentioned the hotel being "dated," but I didn't notice that at all. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and our view was AMAZING! That evening, we returned to our room to find a treat from Arvin...He definitely went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Each visit to the Pacific Club was a treat - everyone we met there was so nice and helpful. A plus was that we were also able to check out there on Sunday morning before our cruise. I wish I had made note of everyone's names so I could recognize them here. (We were there June 7 and checked out the next morning, so hopefully, hotel management can pass this along!) Another HUGE plus is the hotel's location on top of the cruise terminal. They offer luggage delivery, so all we had to do was hop on the elevator and head to the cruise check-in. When I booked this hotel, I considered it a "one-time splurge," but now I know we will be back, as we have booked another Alaskan cruise for next year. Yes, the rooms are pricey, but they also have great specials throughout the year. And the saying, "You get what you pay for," is true - we paid for excellence and feel we received it. read more

I started coming here this summer whenever I spent the day downtown walking. They have a magnificent view of the river and North Vancouver, and ships passing by. I sometimes just order coffee and sit at the lobby. I never checked in but planning to one day, just for the experience. They have a nice jazz performance on Saturday nights and a buffet Sunday mornings. I sometimes just read while having coffee, soaking in the view. This is truly one of the best hotels Vancouver has to offer. It has high ceilings, tall glass walls to let lots of ambient light in the morning and enjoy the glimmering city lights across the river of North Vancouver. This is where cruise ships dock before their next destination. When you step outside there is a plaza where there's always someone singing or playing music. There's also plenty of nice high end restaurants in the area, and a food court across the street. Overall, I love hanging out at this place, very classy and elegant. I highly recommend it! read more

We got upgraded to a harbor-view room, and wow, it was a spectacular panorama of Coal Harbour, cruise ships, seaplanes and mountains. Spacious, beautiful room, very comfortable bed, beautiful birds-eye maple woodwork throughout. The outdoor pool and hot tub on the 8th floor was busy but not crowded, and so relaxing being outdoors with a view. The lobby restaurant was equally beautiful with great service and the food was delicious. The Sunday buffet is currently $42 which looked absolutely amazing, but we ordered à la carte. The surrounding area is very walkable with an ocean-view walkway and constant buskers. Downtown is within walking distance. The staff were consistently polite and engaging - Sarah Jane who checked us in was very pleasant and professional. This entire visit was a real treat. read more

The staff here at the Pan Pacific are just awesome!! They went a long way to relieving our stress seeing as how we had a long drive here, combined with a rough time at the Canadian Port of Entry. It would seem like the border patrol was desperate to see if we were doing something wrong and held us up to search everything. (Next time I am choosing a different port) Anyway, the staff and service here are so supportive, kind and generous that they upgraded us to a nicer room, had our luggage delivered and comped our breakfast at the Oceans 999 Restaurant. The room is immaculately clean, the furnishings are modern and the beds are very comfortable without being too firm or soft. We slept very well indeed. Now the Porters have just come to our room to deliver our luggage to the ship. Impeccable service here. 5 Star top to bottom service! I've stayed at the Pan Pacific since 2003, whenever I've come to Vancouver. The location, adjacent to Canada Place cruise terminal makes it so convenient when taking a cruise. I usually book a Club room, which gains one access to the lounge on the 23rd floor. This time my sister-in-law (SIL) accompanied me, so I reserved two rooms. We got to the front desk around 9:30am and this was the first time I couldn't get a room right away. There were at least five cruise ships docked, leading to throngs of cruisers. Perhaps that's why. In any event, we checked our luggage. I headed to CF Pacific Centre to return a shirt I purchased a week earlier while my SIL waited in the lobby. Upon my return, we went to the Lobby Lounge for a drink before heading out for lunch. At 1pm, while having lunch at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, I got a text indicating my SIL's room was ready. She wasn't feeling well so I took her back to the hotel and got her checked in. I went out to walk around Gastown while waiting for my room. I finally got a text just before 4pm and was able to access my room. We had rooms on the 21st floor overlooking the convention center. I don't like the 21st floor because there is a roof area outside our windows that blocks views to the pool area and the ships docked below. The room itself is nicely furnished and the bathroom is fine. I wish that hotels in Vancouver would install washlets like I have at home. I need my Toto! It would certainly cut down on consumption of toilet paper. The Pacific Club Lounge offers breakfast in the morning and a nice place to relax. They offer hors d'oeuvres in the early evening, but I've never availed myself of that benefit. There are several shops on the lobby level. My SIL and I spent quite a bit of time conversing with the owners of Sasaki Gallery where I purchased some small gifts for a friend. I was able to check out of my room via the TV, but my SIL was not. She had to go down to the front desk to do so. I flagged down a cab outside of the hotel and we were off to the airport. Final thoughts: I like the Pan Pacific but can be very crowded at times, especially on debarkation/embarkation days for the cruise lines. I've thought about staying elsewhere, like the Fairmont Pacific Rim a few blocks away. It's much quieter there but the room rates are substantially higher. My two-night stay in a Club room cost $1,761.71 CAD. I'm returning in April 2025 on another cruise; I've already booked my stay, $3,325.80 CAD for three nights so the rate increased quite a bit. The most important service that hotels provide, in my opinion, is a good night's sleep. And unfortunately, the pan pacific did not deliver. The bed was uncomfortable and, most importantly, the thermostat has a sensor on it and would shut off the air during the night. Therefore, I had less than 4 hours of sleep both nights and kept having to get up in the middle of the night and walk around the room to turn the dang thermostat back on. The location is beautiful, and the rooms are clean but if you can't sleep, nothing else matters. read more

We stayed here for two nights before an Alaskan Cruise and had an incredible stay. The hotel is located right at Canada Place so you can't beat the convenience if you are going on a cruise. We booked a cruise package which came with breakfast buffet for each morning at Ocean's 99 and luggage transfer to the ship. The buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of items including eggs Benedict, pancakes and waffles, the yummiest breakfast potatoes, smoked salmon, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, and more! Luggage service was quick and easy - after we called they arrived within 10 minutes to pick up our bags. Our flight was severely delayed prior to checkin so I called ahead of time to let them know we were still coming and to please hold our room for us. We arrived close to midnight and were greeted warmly by Keanu who graciously upgraded for free to the coral suite and told us he wanted to make our trip very special. To our surprise and delight the coral suite included a dining area, living area, office space and a 1.5 bath!!!! The suite had wrap around views of the cruise port below and there was even a jacuzzi tub and steam rain shower!! If the great room wasn't enough there was even complimentary turn down service, free bottled water, l'occitane toiletries, cozy robes and slippers, and even binoculars! This was the nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Outside of the hotel you are within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, a food court, and a drugstore. We were easily able to walk to Gastown to explore Vancouver prior to our cruise. If you are going on a cruise out of Vancouver, please consider the Pan Pacific. It is more expensive than other hotels in the area but for us it was more than worth it! read more

This hotel is wonderful! Amazing location at Canada place so it's a good central spot for all the things you need to see and do. There is a Starbucks at the bottom so you can grab a cup of coffee without going too far. The standard room was nice with lots of space and a desk to work. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was relaxing with its rainfall shower head and wand. The most impressive part was the rooftop pool! What a gorgeous view! Be sure to check it out at sunset. One thing to note: pay attention to the elevators since they don't all go to all the floors or down to street level, it's easy to get on the wrong one. read more

My family and I stayed at pan pacific on a Friday in mid August. We took the train from airport which was very cool and convenient of 30min. We got off and walked 10 min to the hotel. It is connected to convention center at the pier. So the lobby is not on 1st floor instead we had to take the elevator up to L floor. I wish there was a sign instead we had to ask the bellhop guy. The elevators are fast but small inside. There was a line to check in at 11:30am. It has a nice view of the pier with the bar and restaurant. Finally we reached the counter lady and she was really nice to help us get our room. The room faced the office building and the dock. Inside the room was nice with big bathroom. The hotel is convenient close to the cruise ships and across the food court. To stay here is pricey unless you use your travel points to get a free room. The lobby has escalators to take to the ground floor. The room is average in side with big bathroom. The view is the port and office building. The AC is kinda weak if you coming during the summer. The beds are firm with nice pillows. It has a small refrigerator and plenty of drawer space. Tip, the escalators on 1st floor on the convention side has underground tunnel to food court area. 2nd tip, the hotel is connected to the Check in terminal connection to ships and the bell hop can send the luggage to ship with a price $13. It is very convenient. 3rd tip, it's few blocks away from the train and the bus stop. read more

Prime Location. Visited Vancouver for the first time last week and had the pleasure of staying at the Pan Pacific. The hotel is located in Canada Place and is located downtown in a PRIME location, walking distance from almost everything. It was a little pricey but it was very comparable to all the other hotels in the area. The check in experience was fabulous. Normally check in is at 4pm, however I arrived in Vancouver sooner than expected (10am) and my room was ready by 11am...I couldn't believe it. They allow pets and were very welcoming to my pooch, even giving him a dog treat. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. I ordered room service for breakfast and it was AMAZING. Probably the best Eggs Benedict I've had. (pics attached). I highly recommend the Pan Pacific, will definitely be returning. 10/10 read more

Our small group just completed a weeklong travel with the Rocky Mountaineer train and ready to board the Regent Explorer the following day. As an avid retired traveler I commend Amer for his quick and prompt service in getting all of our group settle in our rooms promptly. I have been to Vancouver several times to be close to Canada Place cruise terminal. In our prior visit we have always stayed at the Fairmont across from your hotel. We got a harbor view room that overlooked Stanley Park across the harbor. Amazing view! The staff are all very friendly, especially the bellmen (Tynan was the best!). The hotel is located right in the middle of a lot of good restaurants and things to do. See below for that list! One awesome thing about this hotel is that if you are cruising from here, they will deliver your bags to the cruise ship for you! Check with the bell desk for details and don't forget money to tip them ($3-$5 per bag is customary and we'll worth it!) This is a lovely hotel with a great location. We stayed for two nights before boarding a cruise. First they delivered all our luggage to the wrong room. After several phone calls, only going down to the bell captain's desk in person got any action at all from them. After three hours we did get all our luggage. Our room is terrible. There are two of us, but only one chair, so nowhere for two people to sit. Bed linens did not fit the bed and were a horrific jumble by morning. No tea in the room, only coffee. While the public amenities are great, the customer experience is simply not what it should be. read more

Would highly recommend getting a harbor view room if booking here otherwise would likely book at another hotel instead. The view was great, staff was nice, room was spacious, bed and furniture was clean. The shower really needs to be redone with the existing sealant removed and redone as it's quite old and molding. That part of the shower was main negative of the room. The fitness center is weirdly located in the parking garage basement next to a cruise ship loading dock. Location was fantastic so we walked most of the time. Parking was 50cad per night with unlimited in/out when we went which was okay for the convenience in comparison to other options. Pool and hot tub were nice and clean but get busy which is understandable. read more

I am very impressed. I got a call today from management explained that they apologized for the mistake and it looked like there was a glitch. For whatever reason, it did not show that we had reserved club level in the system, so when the upgrade happened, this is why we're not upgraded to club level. We were told that our breakfast would be completely covered by the hotel. With that resolution, I would not recommend Oceans 999, but the club level breakfast, on a higher floor of the hotel, is delicious. A club level review would get five stars. Comfortable room, cool harbor views, and great service. read more
