I came in wanting to try the coffee, but there were no seats available inside or outside, so I asked for a cold brew to go. I was told they don't offer to go cups and that I would need to either rent a reusable cup for $3 and bring it back later, or drink from a mug. Since I'm not a regular customer and was just passing by, neither option really worked for me. Unfortunately, I ended up leaving without even being able to try the coffee. Great neighborhood coffee shop that I found buzzing on a Saturday morning. Many people brought their dogs, and thankfully there is plenty of seating on the patio. I ordered a special drink: the Orange Carmel Cloud, a fancy cold brew coffee. It was super refreshing and tasty. A lovely cozy cafe situated off the main streets of North Vancouver. Serving an interesting array of roasted coffees served up as pour overs, expresso, macchiatos, lattes, and matcha drinks. They serve up a nice fresh brioche bun sandwiches that are pretty good as well as some freshly baked croissants, cookies, scones, and baked items. The service was okay, maybe it was how fast i was taking but it seemed like the barista who took my order didn't seem to understand my questions? As someone who's also a barista, I personally don't think my questions were that hard to understand but whatever. I got myself a strawberry matcha and I personally don't recommend it. The strawberry itself didn't stand out, it didn't really add anything to the drink, I could barely taste it. The matcha was okay too, extremely bitter and didn't have that creamy taste I was hoping for. This all might just be due to the size of my cup and getting a 16oz. I would hope that if you were to get a 12 oz it would taste better. Other than that, the place was infact extremely cute! I loved all of the plants that they had along with the outside seating. read more

Nomad doesn't use single-use cups! Dine in with the house mugs or bring your own. Love it! The permeating eco-friendly theme is the most immediately obvious distinguishing factor here but the interesting pastries and food with Korean flavours are another highlight. I got the tofu bulgogi wrap, bread pudding, and almond PSL. Really good stuff. Delicious wrap with fresh vegetables. Bread pudding not too sweet, great texture. The PSL is made with real pumpkin and almond butter (the almond butter maybe added a little creaminess but it didn't taste super nutty) and is very espresso-forward. I really liked the interior design of the shop. There's a fair amount of seating but the layout feels opens. Interesting shapes in the layout from a design perspective. Plants everywhere. Lots of outdoor seating too, which is covered and separated from the sidewalk by dividers with more plants, which I like in a patio. Friendly and helpful staff. read more

Cozy local cafe in North Vancouver loved by locals. This was my second time visiting them and I will continue to come back for their great service and delicious drinks. Today I had their iced chai latte and it was much better than expected. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 only because they didn't have many indoor seating options for 4 people. The coffee was good.. the food would maybe have been ok but I got a new breakfast sandwich they were testing and the egg was cold.. not like not hot kind of cold, but like it just came out of the fridge cold after they warmed it up for me. I ended up letting them know and they were nice about it but just made me a new one the exact same way with the same result. They attempted to take it apart and cook just the egg the third time but it was still somehow very cold so I gave up, but had they managed to heat the whole sandwich up I think it would have been ok. read more

A new cafe in North Vancouver that has a bring your own cup philosophy. Very cute space and seating with a nice outdoor space as well. If you forget your own cup, you can also buy one of theirs for very reasonably price (not sure if there are other options as we did bring our own cups). We got two of the seasonal - cold brew and pink lemonade and they were both very refreshing on a hot day. We also got a scone that was warm when we had it as well. The only "complaint" I had was that one of the washrooms was a bit small but clean! Lovely place to get together with people. Would recommend! read more

We came for the cold brew coffee and we loved it! Delicious and subtle floral flavor that compliments the right amount of bitter, we ordered it with some vanilla and it really complimented everything nicely! Highly recommend if cold brew is your go-to morning drink! read more

I live nearby and was pleased when a new coffee shop opened up. The staff is great and the improvements are well done. I would not recommend the breakfast sandwich though. I've tried it a few times and they don't cook the bacon! Unless you like raw bacon for breakfast then avoid. Other than that a nice spot. read more
