A lovely cozy cafe situated off the main streets of North Vancouver. Serving an interesting array of roasted coffees served up as pour overs, expresso, macchiatos, lattes, and matcha drinks. They serve up a nice fresh brioche bun sandwiches that are pretty good as well as some freshly baked croissants, cookies, scones, and baked items. Worth the visit for a relaxing lunch or coffee break.

Nomad doesn't use single-use cups! Dine in with the house mugs or bring your own. Love it! The permeating eco-friendly theme is the most immediately obvious distinguishing factor here but the interesting pastries and food with Korean flavours are another highlight. I got the tofu bulgogi wrap, bread pudding, and almond PSL. Really good stuff. Delicious wrap with fresh vegetables. Bread pudding not too sweet, great texture. The PSL is made with real pumpkin and almond butter (the almond butter maybe added a little creaminess but it didn't taste super nutty) and is very espresso-forward. I really liked the interior design of the shop. There's a fair amount of seating but the layout feels opens. Interesting shapes in the layout from a design perspective. Plants everywhere. Lots of outdoor seating too, which is covered and separated from the sidewalk by dividers with more plants, which I like in a patio. Friendly and helpful staff.

    Modern welcoming space.

Busy buzzy coffee shop with great coffee. They don't use any single use paper or plastics so if you're stopping in for a coffee to go make sure you bring your own cup. (you can also buy one for $3 - get the purple one with the cat on the skateboard!) Tasty pastries and nice sandwiches too. Nice place to spend some time, switch off and meet up with friends.

Cozy local cafe in North Vancouver loved by locals. This was my second time visiting them and I will continue to come back for their great service and delicious drinks. Today I had their iced chai latte and it was much better than expected. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 only because they didn't have many indoor seating options for 4 people. They also have cute fresh treats for your little paw friends. Their interior is filled with fresh plants which helps create a cozy and welcoming environment.

Cute little spot in North Van. Lots of lovely plants on display and for purchase. Bring your own cup is back. Iced latte was lovely and staff was busy and efficient. Great aesthetic.

A new cafe in North Vancouver that has a bring your own cup philosophy. Very cute space and seating with a nice outdoor space as well. If you forget your own cup, you can also buy one of theirs for very reasonably price (not sure if there are other options as we did bring our own cups). We got two of the seasonal - cold brew and pink lemonade and they were both very refreshing on a hot day. We also got a scone that was warm when we had it as well. The only "complaint" I had was that one of the washrooms was a bit small but clean! Lovely place to get together with people. Would recommend!

I waited what felt like a billion years to order my beverage because the person in front of me was asking a billion questions and taking ages to order her drink. Finally I got to the front and the cashier very politely thanked me for waiting so long. Appreciated that she was aware of the situation and acknowledged it. Points for customer service. Seemed like they were out of a lot of ingredients at this time though cuz I think I overheard her earlier telling the previous customer that they didn't have a certain item; then when I got to the front and I asked for a Lavender Cloud, she said she needed to check with her manager to see if they had the ingredients for that. In the end they put the order through and served it to me. Blah...I didn't like this drink at all. Can't believe I waited so long and paid money for this drink. It didn't look anything like it did in the picture that advertised the drink, and tasted horrible. Made me question whether they had made it properly. I suspect that they were low on ingredients and compromised on the quality of the beverage. If that were the case, I'd appreciated them just telling me straight out that they couldn't make it. I'd have ordered a different drink altogether. I still drink this anyways as I was thirsty and I don't like things going to waste. I plugged my noise so I wouldn't have to taste it as much and chugged it down quickly. I had been curious about the Coconut Cloud drink as well but after this Lavender Cloud experience I probably won't ever bother with the Coconut Cloud drink. I'll just go back to ordering my beloved Rooibos Frappe.

Here's what we had: Cherry Cola Iced Espresso Lavender Espresso Spritz Kokomo bowl Last time we shared the Kokomo Acai bowl as a snack. This time we each had our own Kokomo bowl for lunch. They have other combinations of Acai bowls but we both really like the Kokomo bowl. When we had it in Kitsilano, it was a much hotter day. The Acai in our bowls was much softer as the summer heat had somewhat melted it. Almost like a custard or pudding texture. This time it was a much cooler day so the frozen Acai kept its form more, and was a much thicker, more frozen texture. My daughter preferred it this way. More frozen. Personally, I preferred it the first time we had it. As it's a frozen ingredient, I found the coldness of it more refreshing on a hot summer's day and welcomed it into my body more. This being a cooler day, it made my body colder which wasn't something I particularly enjoyed. I still enjoyed the Acai bowl very much. The ingredients are tasty and healthy. My body loves tasty and healthy. It's clearly a matter of personal preference as to whether you prefer your Acai more thick and frozen on a cooler day, or more melted yet still cold and frozen (just not "as" frozen) on a hotter day. We didn't care much for our Espresso drinks. I'm not deducting any marks for that though as we come here mainly for the Acai bowls which are top notch in my opinion!

Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4/5…read moreFood: 4/5 I came to this Persian cafe with my family on a weekend after dinner and it was busy! Their menu is extensive and features lots of shakes (both Persian and non-Persian flavours) along with traditional Persian ice cream and some other goodies. I opted for the most sour thing on the menu which was the "Majoon Torsh" and has a bunch of different things inside including pomegranate slush, sour fruit leather (lavashak) and sour berries and it was delicious! Definitely lived up to the sour promise and hit the spot. The owner is really nice and will take the time to explain all the different flavours to you if it's your first time. My only downsides would be the price (the drink I had was $16.99 before tax and tip so definitely a pricy treat) along with the limited seating. A fun place to try if you're in North Van!
