Everything in the case looked delectable, but we decided upon a large peanut butter-caramel cookie that was still warm from the oven -- and was it ever good. It was made even better with a light sprinkle from the salt shaker. We also shared a Black Forest bar with frosting that tasted a bit refrigeratory; the chocolate sponge cake layers were dry but the cherry filling was tart-sweet and delicious. The patio provided a relaxing space to sit, sip and snack as we watched the denizens of this lovely neighborhood stroll by.

On my first visit, I wasn't sure what the Zaku Zaku cream puff was, so the staff kindly let me try a sample. I was sold immediately. The custard was light and creamy, and the choux was perfectly crisp on the outside. The flavor brought me right back to a cream puff I had years ago in Saitama. It was such a familiar taste, and I hadn't been able to find it again until now. I'm so happy I found it here. I came back the following week, but unfortunately most of the popular items were already sold out. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu. I might even get my birthday cake from here this year!

Our daughter has recently gotten into Tiramisu so she requested Tiramisu for her birthday cake…read more This was pretty exciting for me cuz it's been several years now of her only ever wanting an ice cream cake for her birthday. It's been a few years since the last time we had a non ice cream cake for her birthday. I had fun researching online where to buy her Tiramisu cake from. Looked at sizes, shapes, prices....etc. Finally settled on this Tiramisu cake from Patisserie Le Pont. Awesome choice! Very very happy with this Tiramisu cake. The coffee flavor was very strong and the sweetness level was nicely balanced. A lot of other places made their Tiramisu cakes very fancy looking. This one had the more simple, traditional look which I preferred. It also made it easier to slice and share. The one thing that could have been better...there was so much coffee in this Tiramisu that it seemed to somehow spill out of the cake and onto the cake board. This made things a bit messy. I had to search for a platter in the kitchen that would be big enough to hold the cake on the cake board as the board was too messy for us to lay it straight onto the table. Love that it was loaded with coffee, but it was possibly a bit too much or else some new method needs to be found for keeping the coffee from spilling out and making things messy. Highly highly recommend this Tiramisu cake. It was sooooo good!

Another birthday in the family and I got a message on the morning of the birthday dinner, asking whether it might be too late to put in an order for the wonderful Pavlova roulade our family had enjoyed from Liffey Foods a couple of months earlier. I was almost certain that it would be too late but figured it couldn't hurt to ask, so I sent a message through instagram to Liffey Foods asking whether it would be possible to have a Pavlova roulade ready for pickup later that day. Lo and behold, it was not too late! Sinead agreed to make us a Pavlova Roulade and have it ready for 5:30pm pickup. I was super duper impressed with how flexible and accommodating she was as I really didn't expect anyone would be willing to take such a last minute order. I ordered the small size of the roulade this time since we were a smaller group. It was just as delightful as the bigger one we had back in September; however, I think moving forward, I will just order the large one every single time so that even if we're a small group again, we can have leftovers because her Pavlova Roulade is just sooooooooo good! Thank you Sinead for your warmth, hospitality, flexibility and wonderful Pavlova Roulade that was as beautiful as it was delicious!

We went on a Friday morning and the cafe was nearly full so we got the last 2 seats at the bar. She got a sandwich and I got a London fog and cinnamon knot. Her sandwich was tasty but quite pricy. Same with my items - they're all definitely on the pricier side. The knot I had was good but I wish it had a stronger cardamom taste to it instead of just cinnamon. The space is gorgeous but is always pretty busy and the staff are super kind! I would come back and try some other items.
