Best gluten free bread- EVER! You won't even notice the difference between the GF potato bread and regular bread. Yummy GF cookies too!

Sandwiches are great value. Fresh and piled high with meat. A perfect place to grab a quick lunch.

Review Highlights - 6th Ave Bread & Deli

When I go away on holidays I'm tempted to take half of my suitcase filled with their awesome potato onion or potato flax bread.

Better alternative for healthy eats if you want a quick bite at an affordable value…read more I honestly came in cause I was on the go and I was super hungry but didn't feel like eating fast food. Came in and the people at the counter said the Southwest was a favourite so I just gave it shot. Really great flavours. I would actually come back again for lunch when I'm around the area

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!…read more Wow, just wow. I've been here a few times before and it has never been THIS bad. Today, we went in. The lady behind the counter could hardly understand me. While taking my order, another women came up and they started looking at an iPad about a SkipTheDishes order. I had to wait for them to finish to keep ordering. They where supposed to put guacamole on my 1 salad, and they charged me for it, plus a random 50 cent charge for banana peppers I never ordered. Like what ? Ok fine. I told them about the 50 cent charge and she just replied "yes". I'm like, why am I being charged for banana peppers I didn't order, again she just says "yes". Frustrated I say ok whatever. No point to argue over a few cents. Go outside, I see not only did they not even put in the banana peppers they charged me for; but, the guacamole I paid $3 for was not in the salad either. So now I've paid $3.50 for things I didn't receive . Pretty irritating ! Open my other salad and they forgot to put tomatoes on it. I go back to the store and ask them, hey, you guys charged me for this and forgot to put it on. She replies "yes, guac is extra" like, I know. I've paid for it but didn't get it. They argued with me for about 5 minutes before handing me a tiny container of guacamole. To top it all off, after arguing, paying nearly $30 for 2 salads, I finally get to eat, and there's a fly in my lettuce. Seriously, I don't understand what happened here today. I was charged for several things I didn't receive, then had to argue to get what I paid for, then I found a fly in my lettuce . I used to come here pretty often but that's going to change. I suggest everybody stay far away- go somewhere else. The chopped leaf down town or the one In Port Coquitlam are MUCH better. You actually get what you pay for without being argued with. Pretty disgusted with my experience here today.

It was clean and bright and we got a nice seat by the window. Our server was quick to say hello and take our drink order. I'm always impressed with the breadth of the menu here. I landed on the Seafood Yummy Hash, and hubby had the Big breakfast, again. Coffee and water came first, and we were both delighted at how good the coffee was. Most diner style restaurants have a very burnt tasting coffee but this was very smooth. Off to a good start! Food came out very quickly and looked amazing. Both dishes were beautifully plated, and the fruit on the big breakfast was not a typical canned special. Things took a turn at the first bite though. Taste 10/10, but our food was cold. Like cold, cold which was surprising given the restaurant was mostly empty, and it came out so quick. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and very obviously in-house made, but both of our potatoes were quite literally cold, with some of the baby potatoes being hard in the middle still. The sourdough was also stale, but not just stale in taste, it was almost like it had been toasted well in advance and then plated. The review on the big breakfast remains the same as last time. Sausage was amazing, but the bacon and the ham left something to be desired. The server took some time to return back to our table and check in on us. When she did I told her our food was cold. She just kind of made a face, said oooooh, apologized, and that was it. She also had to be reminded to refill our coffees a second time after asking. The last shock came with the bill. While the prices overall were reasonable for very large servings of food, two black coffees came to $11. I know we raved about them at the beginning of the review, but not sure they were $11 good. Really wanted to love it, but not sure it lived up to expectations this time.

My favourite is the smoked duck but the lemongrass chicken is also delicious. I absolutely love cilantro and they are generous with it, so if it's not for you, just ask them to omit. There are a few tables available for those who wish to eat in. It's a nice and clean spot with very pleasant staff. They have an online ordering system but I've only used it a few times. It's nice to order while I'm there, as the people are so friendly and it's nice to chat while my food or drinks are being prepared. They have excellent juice and smoothie options as well as Vietnamese coffee. They bake their bread and Kouign Amann pastries fresh every day which makes all the difference. I'm glad to have this place as a lunch option when I go to the office. In fact, my company will also order sandwiches from Minh when we have a special event or something at the office. Highly recommended.

They bake the bread in house everyday and you can really taste the difference. The chicken was so juicy! They also make all the coffee orders completely fresh and Tim asked me how I like my coffee (strong/light, sweet/less sweet) so you can customize your perfect cup. As an avid coffee person, I really appreciated that. I'll definitely revisit to try some other items. The shop was also really clean with lots of seating.
