We had a very nice lunch at Chili's. This was made possible, by our server, Alyssa. I have a host of food allergies which sometimes makes it difficult to order straight off the menu. Alyssa was very kind and understanding and suggested items that would not cause me to have an allergic reaction. I am so grateful to her! I wasn't aware of it but chilis went though some sort of makeover a few years ago, now instead of the fake junk all over the walls there is a mOre modern and cold decor going on. It looks cheap and the booths are not as private anymore.its also kinda loud in there with this new open look. Sucks. as for the food I can say it was pretty good. RIbs: They have three kinds of ribs. Dry rub, sauce and some other concoction... I went for the dry rub. The ribs are of course not smoked at all. They are probably boiled baksomethingethign so thedoesn'tdoesnt hSmokeysmokey taste at all. But the dry rub on them has a good tasting crust. ForBBQen bbq they are good.don'tt dont expect this BBQbe bbq or anything.... The onion blossom not being on the menu sucks. The replacement though is pretty good. Its onion strinjalapeñosalepenos mixed in. Tastes good. Drinks were weak. In a pinch I would come back but thats only in a pinch!doesn'te place doesnt have thousand islaTheressing!! My husband & I came in around 3:00 pm late lunch, so we didn't have to eat dinner. I asked for a specific table & the host told us that the area was not available I looked around all I saw were empty tables about 11 people in the entire restaurant. As soon as we set down the server asked what kind of drinks we wanted few minutes later our drinks arrived ordered our food again, 10 minutes later it arrived. It's the worst food we ever ate at Chili's. We ordered the 3 for me for $16.99... bowl of chili is so salty and so dark ( I would say the sodium in a small bowl of chili is about 800 mg, salad is old & dry. Carne asada with black beans & rice is awful, the meat is tough & dry, beans taste like out of a can. The place is dark, and outdated, smells & the restroom is trashy. Our server is ex-communicado from the time we spent there not even once did he came over & ask how's everything like if we needed a refill for my tea or would you like to add a dessert. It's not like they're busy, by the time we left only a few more customers came in so I would say a good amount of 12 came in & 7 that left. After we made a payment on that dirty machine sitting top of the table another server asked if we needed anything dah!!! can you see we're living? For 15 years or so this place has been the best we used to come here every few months but we stopped going b/c it's not the same, then my husband wants to give it another try to support our city. This is now the second time we have been to chili's and had an issue. The first time our order was missing chips and salsa. Every time we go we get the 3 for 10 so how that was missing is beyond me. We get home I call they ask if we want to come back to pick it up I say no we don't live that close and our food would be cold. The manger was supposed to give us a call.... shocker we never received a call. Now this time we go place our order for pick up as usual. It says it's ready at 8:30 we get there and wait an additional 30 minutes! No one was at the to go counter there were many people waiting. Another lady was waiting over 30 minutes for just shrimp tacos. No one apologized for the wait. We finally get our food I ask the woman for the extra ranch we ordered and her response was that they were out of ranch in the restaurant. Then acted like she didn't want to give us the last cup of ranch. The gives it to us finally and just laughs that they have no more ranch. So ridiculous. I will be call as well to speak to a manger. Update: just spoke with the GM Mike he says that the wait time on the app isn't always correct and reflect the wait in the restaurant. Which I understand. He is going to speak with the woman and compensate us to correct the issues from both incidents. read more

oh my! so on thursday august 22 around the 8/9ish. we went to our favorite chili's in lancaster because the palmdale one really sucks. and we were offered this meal our meal on burnt ass buns top and bottom then the waiter asked you want new buns or remake both meals, then when i turned my buns over burnt to a crisp, we heard the manager yelled at the cooks and threw it the meal on the wall. we then had to wait another 10 minutes or so for another serving of our food. in the meantime my husband asked for a corn. it came back cold as ice. by then i asked two servers for the manager (because why he didnt come out the first time to address the issue baffles me) when he did finally get to us, he did apologize and told us he chastised his cooks about cooking the meals incorrectly because we bring in the business bad food no customers. he offered everything on the menu while we had to wait, but i asked for a monetary compromise and that was a joke what he offered after having to have to wait nearly 30-45 minutes to eat. the waiter was amazing but the service on this night was horrible and i honestly thought the manager was going to compensate us more after having all this happen. we were opting to leave but i did have two drinks so we had to pay for that by that time the food came back decent and we agreed to stay an eat it, but then my husband felt grit in his burger as he proceeded to eat the burger and thought it might have chipped a tooth, but he was fine, when we got our "peace offering molten cake and ice cream" they brought it out before we had our food and then they put in the fridge until we were done, though the manager said "he would check the ice cream" he didn't! it was well melted by the time i got home and i live literally 5 minutes from the establishment. that frustrated me ever so, and i still paid for our meal with that horrible discount. literally we should have been taking care of better but it was late we were tired and actually i didn't finish my meal at all i took it home . that manager was a hot mess and the service was below even a 1 star. do better y'all... do better.. read more

I have been coming to this Chili's for the past 8 years. It was my go to place for lunch whenever I was in town. This last visit was incredibly disappointing. The restaurant was not busy with about 6 tables occupied. After waiting for 15 minutes the server showed up to take my order. Cup of chicken enchilada soup and the Ranchero chicken tacos. The bad news is that the soup was not available. This was odd since it wasn't available when I last stopped in 3 weeks prior. I said that the tacos would be fine and did not order anything else other than an iced tea. I waited for the iced tea as they usually bring it out quickly. 15 minutes later the tacos were brought out but no utensils or tea. I asked the kitchen staff and they sent out the server with what I wanted. The bad news is that the food was very cold. Refrigerator cold. The beans looked as if someone used the bowl to dip into a vat for a serving. I sat for a few moments thinking that the server would be by to see if I needed anything. Did not come by. I got up to look around. None of the servers were around and the hostess didn't bother to ask if everything was okay. I resigned myself to eating the cold meal as I had waited much too long to begin with. Finally my server showed up and asked me if I wanted anything. I mentioned the cold food and was met with a blank stare. I asked for a refill on the iced tea and she took my plate to the kitchen. After waiting another 15 minutes, I took my glass into the kitchen for a refill. One of the food preparers took my glass and said he would get my server. She came back and was clearly annoyed when she said "I was talking to my manager" I replied that its not a good idea to ignore your customers. Worse yet someone who is somewhat a regular. My kids took me to this restaurant. The wait time was 45 minutes. Our server was very nice he did what he could. The restaurant was very dirty some of the servers were too busy in their own conversations amongst themselves. The wait time for the food was over an hour. The server apologize several times for the delay. The restaurant was nearly empty and they still had people waiting. When I was waiting outside We stay in my truck it was over 100° outside. The servers were telling people they will be over an hour wait for their food some people got up and walked out of the restaurant.
