First time at this location. I ordered the grilled salmon with rice and Brussels sprouts to go. The service was fine, the interior was nice and clean, and my food was ready promptly. Unfortunately, the salmon tasted like it wasn't fresh, which was disappointing. The Brussels sprouts were okay, but I didn't care much for the rice pilaf. I actually preferred their cauliflower rice, although I don't think they offer it anymore. Overall, I definitely wouldn't order the salmon again at this location. read more

I was told to download the app to receive a free bowl with drink purchase and I did that. I have had their fish tacos In the past and they are phenomenal. I had the honor of trying the everything protein bowl and it was super delicious. It contained fish, shrimp and chicken. The blend of everything on this bowl with the green salsa was amazing. I came in shortly after the lunch rush and it was busy. There is a kiosk for ordering if you are paying with a card or Apple, Google pay. I enjoyed the 80's music while I waited for my turn to order with a cashier. I ordered the regular size grilled salmon salad with a can soda. My grilled salmon had cajun seasoning, which was not overly salty. My order came quick and It was a really fresh salad. This a great go to restaurant when you want to watch what you eat. Solid, not spectacular but a nice healthy option in the Antelope Valley. My wife and I went here after spending the entire day schlepping my Dad's things into a UHaul. We hadn't been back here together since he passed and noticed a bunch of new restaurants. The California Fish Grill was one of them. The menu is self service and a bit confusing for some of us....but we figured out. The young man at register was a terrific host and quite positive. He was great with all the customers including us. Wifey ordered a shrimp skewer and I ordered either grilled Swordfish or Ahi Tuna with brown rice and corn. Delicious, nicely seasoned, and served warm. Overall a nice visit. I ordered my food this evening at 610 PM. My son as a group of 6 ordered individually, receive all their orders. Mind you, they ordered their food at least 5-10 minutes after we had put in our order. After about 20 minutes I approached the cashier to get the status of our food and he stated something happened to my order and it would take a bit for them to make it. We decided to wait as we were trying to support the business and the local high school. We were offered some food while we waitied. I didn't wanted anything but my son requested some fries while we waited. More time passed and we were definitely getting very hungry. After a couple of minutes, the diner rush came and we were just forgotten about. I went to the cashier to request a refund. He went to the back and did something for an additional couple of minutes. He then walked out with our food. But at that point, I no longer wanted the food from the establishment. It took a bit longer for the manager to come out. He didn't really apologize or explain much. He blamed his cashier for something that wasn't explained to me. At that time the establishment was very busy. But we ordered our food way before the dinner rush. I was at the side of the one register where people were picking up the food. The manager was saying something to me but didn't face me until I had to get his attention to face me to hear what he was saying. It was pretty rough, we were there 50 minutes and left pretty hungry. I'm not sure what happened to my order but from the cashier to the manager, you guys need to have better training. read more
