Although the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, within about 15 minutes it had filled up, which says a lot about how popular this place is. We've always had maybe 1 or 2 dogs with us and so we'd sit out on the patio. These dogs are quiet and obedient. They just lie under the table at your feet and are never restless & never beg/bark/whine. Since we had a larger party and now 3 dogs with us, maybe it drew more attention? Our waiter said that he will have to ask the boss if it's okay that we have dogs since usually it's policy to not have dogs on the premises. We were so confused since we've been coming here. The boss/owner/manager, I can't remember exactly his title, came outside and let us know that unfortunately, pets are not allowed, even on the patio. We were all taken aback with nothing to say except having dropped jaws as he was walking away. Before he completely left our sight, we asked when that became a policy since we have always been here with dogs. He said it's always been a rule and cannot speak for his employees and the decisions they make when he's not there. He goes on to state that the pets are unclean and that he has customers. In that moment, I thought, "What are we then? Have we never been customers?" With a firm tone, he asked us to cooperate. It would have been a different kind of feeling if this boss had said ANYTHING along the lines of, "We would love to have you back to dine with us, but please without your dogs." This interaction felt like major rejection, hate towards pets, and to just get out immediately. We had already ordered 3 cortado frios, which I always think is to-die-for here, and that will be our last sips from them. It was also way more sweet than strong this time, sadly. We will not be returning to this establishment.

First and foremost I want to say I'm so glad this place is finally open!!! Finally we have an authentic Mexican food spot in the AV! And more importantly they're open pretty late so anytime I'm craving some Mexican food you can best believe I will be checking out Tacos El Superior. I went in on Sunday and let me just say I was blown away by the cleanliness of this establishment , also the staff was very welcoming and patient. I believe Sandi was the cashier who took my order and she had the most positive attitude and I couldn't be any more pleased with the way she attended not just me but everybody else who would walk in. I ordered burrito de pastor with pineapple of course and it was off the hook!! You can definitely taste the flavors in the pastor not like other places where the pastor tends to be bland. Ok so let me just tell you, I love this restaurant. They're food is sooo bomb. their salsa roja is fire. I would drive all the way to Lancaster to get food but now, I am so happy that they opened one up more local for me to go to and eat all the delicious food that they offer PLUS, I walked in the other day and I was greeted by such a beautiful person by the name of Sandi. She told me that she had just started working there just a few days ago but it seems as though she was like the BOSS or the MANAGER. While the food at Tacos El Superior is always delicious and satisfying, I do have some concerns about the drive-thru experience. It seems that every time I visit, I end up having to pull up to the front and wait outside the drive-thru for my food, which can be a bit inconvenient. Today, there were six cars ahead of me all waiting as well, and it just adds unnecessary time to the process. I understand there might be reasons for this, but it does impact the overall experience and can be a bit frustrating. Hopefully, the management team can look into this and improve the speed and efficiency of the drive-thru process. read more

I had such a great experience here! The food was seriously amazing everything was super fresh, flavorful, and just really satisfying. You can tell they put care into what they make. The tacos were especially delicious, definitely some of the best I've had in a while. What really made the visit stand out though was the customer service. Food was disgusting. Tortillas raw, just soaked in oil. Tacos birria don't come with the consume, they charge additional 3.50 for that- ridiculous. I had to walk back in and ask for the salsa cilantro and onion. Tacos pastor were half the size of my hand. This place is horrible I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I have better luck just going to a local hole in the wall Mexican spot. This place OVER CHARGES for bad food. Don't waste your time. I was going to give the birria tacos to my dog, but the oil would probably make him sick or vomit. Trashed them. read more

Ruben at Taco Superior deserves a shoutout. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure my order was exactly right. Came in today to check the new location out, I walked in and Sandi greeted us with welcoming vibes and a great smile. Showed us the menu and made sure our order was correct. (For those who like pata this one didnt have any nor was it offered. I know other establishments ask if you would like pata included or not). The quesabirria tacos were good. We got everything for to go in case we had any leftovers. The food all in all was good. But what I truly enjoyed and would give it another 5 stars lol was the agua fresca. Im not a fan of passion fruit but this one was refreshing and just perfect. Also, the service is a 10 out of 10. We were greeted upon entering. The young girl working the front counter was both very helpful and pleasant and so was the young guy when my wife approached the counter. Even the women working the kitchen seemed very friendly and welcoming. One other thing I observed is they all wear hairnets. Huge plus!

My son loves "the world's tiniest booth" as he calls it inside. He also loves the carne asada fries and manzana sol soda. My favorite is the mashed potato tacos and now the beef rolled tacos. My mom loves chicken fajita and chili relleno. 100% recommend.
