If you want some good, AUTHENTIC Hispanic food... This is definitely gonna be your go to... I'm serious. I don't go out a lot. I'd rather make my own food... And I do know how to cook. However, if you're in the mood for a romantic breakfast after a night of tequila and dancing, or a lunch when the kids are in school... This will definitely be the place. I also love their atmosphere. Martha and her sister are top-notch... They're so warm, and inviting. And have no problem, letting you know that they would love to feed you. **** TIP this is right off the highway... And it doesn't really stand out. If you're not paying attention, you will really pass it by... So just pay attention. Also, another tip is if you park in the front, be mindful that you will have to back out and be careful of oncoming traffic.** read more

Muy bien! First, it's a little road side stop with two cute mamacitas waiting to dish you up some ex Ellen's home made food! We got carne asada tacos and a cheese quesadilla that came with some chips, salsa verde and warm beans. They didn't mind me practicing my Spanish either. I'd go out of my way to come here. The flavor was great!! read more

This restaurant might look small but they offer the best homemade meals! The service is super friendly, you Will observe that it is managed by women. They take pride in the taste, the portions are great. It is a little on the expensive side but it's worth it! Highly recommend the chicharrones! read more

If you're looking for authentic, homemade Mexican food that truly hits the spot--La Palma is it! I ordered takeout for my family, and every single person was impressed--it was so good! The flavors are rich, comforting, and absolutely worth the visit. And on top of that, the owners are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet--so sweet and generous. They even gave us a little extra, which just shows how much they care about their customers. Affordable, delicious, and made with heart-- La Palma is a true hidden gem. Fool me for the good reviews. Food was not authentic as i expected. Very high over priced for what we order. We decided to eat outside on our truck bed but due to the smell of the trash can or the dumping of waste food that the crow were eating next to the trash bin we decide to go. As the menudo got colder it was super greasy and stinky. We also got some birria tacos with tortilla and when they arrived it burly had any meat it was so disappointing for paying so high dollars on a taco with no meat! The plate of soup of birria the taste was dull not that much meat either for the price. While we stay for a while a dam 18 wheeler truck drove in spreading a bunch of dust that got all over our soup not their fault but they should be sign for this dam driver to slow down so customer can eat outside since is a very small place and the tables were occupied we didn't have a choice but to eat outside. We won't eat here again due to the cost and environment. We saw other customer drinking beer outside and tossing the bottles on the floor. Having a big green trash can there for them to walk and properly disposing it. Over all price are to high for a authentic Mexican food. We expend over $96 dls for 2 adult and a child. We will keep looking for a better place. Read more read more

Authentic. All the meats we tried were juicy and good quality. Carne, pastor, chicharonn, and carnitas. The carnitas was my fave. The prices were pretty high though for the amount of food you get. They should definetly give you more on ur plate for how much they charge. We had chilaquiles plate, tacos rice and beans and it was over 50 bucks read more

Came to eat here because of the good reviews. And let me say this was the most terrible food I've ever eaten and way over priced. We went for the menudo and it was super greasy and stinky. We also got some birria tacos with the big tortilla and when they arrived it burly had any meat it was so disappointing for paying 6 dollars a taco with no meat! Also we got a plate soup of birria the taste was dull. Never going there again!!! For a plate of menudo and 2 tacos and a plate of birria with a agua fresca it was 72 dollars? No thanks. Be aware if you come here. I give it zero stars if i could!!! read more

This restaurant has two locations and I personally like this location the best. This place has a more traditional family vibe felt like I was home with my Tia's, mother and abuela in the kitchen. The service is amazing and food is delicious. The other location was to corporate and extremely rude and unprofessional. The only downside is this place is cash only and the seating is limited inside. Get your cash ready prior to arriving. The parking is dirt so when it's windy expect dust or raining expect mud but very spacious even for even trucker to park. This place tends to get busy so be prepared to wait; worth it! This building looks like a shack and a bit run down but this is definitely a diamond in the rough. They serve homemade tortillas and let me say it was definitely delicious. Bet you can't just order one serving? 3 nice size tortillas per serving very authentic Mexican food, reminded me of Aguascalientes, Mexico. I would honestly say if going off the various recommendations of either for or against this place to each their own. I personally recommend based off my the family experiences who have been coming here for years and current visit. I would say come in and try it for yourself it's definitely worth it. Lots of recommendations everyone commenting can be be valid and some nitpicking. Either way I hope the owners capitalize on some of these recommendations e.g. placing an ATM here more money for the business as customers might not to return and risk finding another place to dine. read more

The carnitas are excellent here. We also tired the menudo here and it had a flavor like home. Price is a bit high but the flavor makes up for it. Updated rating and review: I wanted to come on here and give an updated review since my last review I posted didn't go so well. La Palma is one of my favorite places to eat now when I'm craving tacos do I feel their prices are a little overpriced for what you get Yes I do but the food is worth it do I think the service can be a little bit better Yes I do but again the food is worth it. So I stand corrected on my first review and I would like to give them three stars and state that we have gone back over and over again The only thing I wish they would do and take notices not to make such a spicy salsa maybe have a second salsa for people who can't do too much spice. read more

Authentic and delicious Mexican food. The birria was amazing. Aqua Fresca too. This is the definite repeat, next time we pass by.

La Palma - Huevos con Chorizo - Mexican Near Me - Palmdale, California

The absolute best food I have ever ate! I'm from Las Vegas and will look forward to coming back again. Thank you for the great service

Delicious!!! We went on a Sunday mid morning. There was a line to get in. People were mostly taking to-go orders. It was PACKED! The eating area is small and you just have to find an empty spot at a table, even if it's with strangers. The customer service was AMAZING. Once we finally ordered, the food came out pretty quickly. Another good sign for me is the type of customers you attract. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. Really felt like a family establishment. It is CASH ONLY and was kinda pricy. We got 2 large menudos, 4 tacos of each Asada, Pastor, Carnitas, 2 large Mexican cokes, and an horchata for $85, but so worth it. EVERYTHING WAS SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!! I couldn't even get up I was so full, but I couldn't stop eating. I forgot to mention bomb homemade tortillas. And did I mention the outstanding customer service?? Highly recommend. read more

Place isn't bad. Normally packed. Cash only I got the beef soup, and it was pretty flavorless. But I made due with excessive lemon and salt. There wasn't much meat in the soup and the meat that was in there, was really dry. Maybe I just got a bad batch read more

Best food and best service!!! Lucy is the nicest lady! Always friendly, caring and generous!! Best carnitas!!!

This place is deceiving. At a first glance this place looks a bit (for lack of a better words) run down... but don't be fooled by the exterior. They have some great food here. I've only had a few dishes here (Menudo, various Tacos & Chicharon) & they were all delicious. If you like Carnitas, Chicharon, Buche & Menudo, this place should be on your hit list. The "only" reason I am giving this place 4 stars & not 5 is because they only take cash (not the problem) but because of this reason they don't make your order until you get there & pay for it. A heads up, if you go on the weekend early. You will be waiting, as this place gets busy! Cheers! read more

THE REAL DEAL! We found this 4 1/2 star rated Taqueria on yelp. Figured, how could so many people be wrong. They weren't! We were greeted by a very pleasant woman, who spoke only Spanish. But that's OK, because I'm learning Spanish and she was very patient with me. We ordered: carne asada tacos, Carnitas tacos, and a special one that she recommended, the chicaron rojo palma. She was right, it was good! While we were waiting for our meal she brought us some complementary cicharones. Very hospitable of her, and they were really, really good. So we took some for the road as well. read more
