Although the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, within about 15 minutes it had filled up, which says a lot about how popular this place is. my boyfriend and I come in here regularly every other weekend for breakfast. we always enjoy coming in for their chilaquiles. unfortunately, this past weekend the owner blew it for us. we've come in plenty of times in the past with our own Starbucks coffee because honestly, their coffee is very watered down so we prefer to bring our own and enjoy their food. they have never said anything to us about bringing in our own coffee until this weekend and all because the owner became bitter that we sent back my boyfriends plate which had all the oil from the eggs sitting on top and we just couldn't eat it. we were very polite in asking them to fix it for us and the owner grabbed the plate and snatched it from my boyfriend without apologizing and saying he'd fix it. my boyfriend tried eating it after it was fixed but had lost his appetite because of the owners behavior towards him. When it came down to paying, the owner asked my boyfriend if we had any drinks and we said just water and he told us that next time he wasn't going to let us into the restaurant with our own coffee. I was very disappointed to hear this as we are regulars their, we've gone in with our coffee before, and we've always been so generous as far as tipping even thought they really only take your order and serve you and leave you alone the rest of the time. Im in the restaurant business myself and I would never turn away regular clients just for Bringing in their own coffee. Safe to say, we will no longer help conttubute to his business. read more

Omg the barbacoa is sooooo good! I love it... They also make these quesadillas de hongo tastes so good. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. This places is great! The atmosphere, the good, the drinks (micheladas were good as well) everything. Kids love the tacos! Ohh and the menudo especially after a night of drinking hangover cure for sure with a nice cold michelada. Will def bring you back to life! I used to eat here all the time. I recommended many people here. The food was hit or miss, with usually a hit. However their MAIN cook, is a tattooed gangster (he proudly shows off his tattooed scalp), & unfortunately holds this place hostage. He must be related to the owners because he is still employed. In conclusion, wife has the BEST food, daughters are bright, owner is cool, but the cook usually has final say, so pucker up!!!! read more

It would be more professional if the owner wouldn't drink in the same booths where there are familys are eating . Also the waitresses look very distressed and the chips are stale. The kitchen also looks packed cause they have all their family in there kids too. The owners daughter has a terrible attitude and acts as if she doesn't want to be there. Noooo thanks ! read more
