I've been trying menudo everywhere in the Av and this is the Best menudo I've tried in the AV! Will definitely be returning.

A hidden gem that is a little hidden and not well known. We come here usually to pick up carnitas and cueritos by the pound. Both are delicious. The tacos are also good, they are made with fresh hand made tortillas. Service is good. read more

My family and I have no made it a habit to visit this homey restaurant at least once a month at minimum to enjoy the delicious food here. My husband's go to meal is el menudo rojo con grano, he always praises the consistent flavor the chef has when preparing it. Mine is the burrito mojado en salsa roja picante, the sauce is always spicy just how I like it. The meats are always cooked to our satisfaction regardless of which we choose. We really appreciate that you pay once your meal is over in case you'd like to add anymore to your meal. This place was just by luck. I love menudo so upon searching for a new place to get some menudo I ran into this place. My wife likes machaca con huevos but they don't have it on the menu, they do have aporreadillo which it's better,somewhat similar but WAY BETTER!!!! Menudo 10/10 aporreadillo wife says 10/10 wait not to mention there hand made tortillas !!!!!I placed an order by phone and they were very polite and friendly. On their storefront it says authentic Mexican food, well they really mean it, 100% to the max. I'll give it 10 stars if I could. The owner is very welcoming feels like home..... gracias, muchas gracias!!!!! Any one who comes across this post please consider it....trust me when i say this place is 100% GOOD!!!! The Bean, Cheese and Rice Burrito did not taste that good and assembled sloppy. I asked for Salsa and pico de gallo and I received none. Avoid this type of Burrito! read more

The food was good but it took forever to get to us. She was rude and kept asking if we were going to keep ordering more food making it feel like we were ordering too much, but the thing was that they were out of half of the menu so im not sure why she was getting upset at us when she was the one that didn't let us know ahead of time. Then after that the food took an hour and a half to be ready. Its understandable when its busy and theres a rush but when we went there was only 2 other people in the restaurant with us and they were already getting ready to leave so im not sure why they took so long. read more

Best tacos I've had there food for years, and it's always been fantastic. Felipe takes pride in the food he cooks, and the entire staff if friendly. They catered my kids party once and it was a huge hit with everyone. They have expanded their menu over time and it's a definite go to spot for my whole family. The prices are super reasonable and the taste is always perfect. I e had the entire menu and nothing has let me down, but my #1 go to is the Al pastor tacos with hand made tortillas. They have a verity of salsas to chose from. It's a small independent restaurant that takes care of their customers. I tell all my friends family and even total strangers to come here because it's a great restaurant run by great people. You will not be disappointed with this place. Best hidden gem out there.
