Just had an absolutely fantastic breakfast at Denny's and I've got to say--this place delivered big time! The food was seriously delicious, hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Every bite hit the spot. But what really made the experience stand out was our server, Juan--he was amazing! Super friendly, quick, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of the entire time. It's rare to get service that good these days. And let's talk about that value menu...you honestly can't beat it--great portions, great prices, and great quality. I used to come to Denny's all the time, especially this location, but unfortunately I feel like the food just doesn't taste the same anymore. I usually order one of three things: the chicken soup, the chicken tenders, or the salmon entree. The salmon entree used to be one of my favorites, but lately it has been disappointing. The rice has come out cold or looking like it had been reheated in the microwave, and the vegetables often taste rushed, like they were taken straight from the freezer and quickly warmed up. It just doesn't have the same fresh or comforting quality it used to have. Their soup is still good, and I do still enjoy their desserts. I also love a good chocolate milkshake, and Denny's usually does that well. But a lot of the other menu items no longer fully satisfy me the way they used to. At this point, I mostly come here only when I need something quick, simple, and budget-friendly. Otherwise, I don't eat at Denny's nearly as much as I used to. The staff here are great, though. I have no complaints about the service. They've always been kind and helpful, and the restaurant itself is usually kept clean. The only other thing I'll mention is that the interior feels pretty outdated, so the whole place could probably use a refresh. read more

I put one star because I won't let me put a review without one. We went for an early dinner with the kiddos and wow it took them about 10 minutes to even acknowledge and seat us. Then it took another 10 minutes before we even got to order drinks and food. The food took about 30 minutes. The service was poor but I feel that is due to the poor staffing on the management. There was 1 waitress to seat, clean, and attend to customers. I felt bad for the waitress. The food was okay. Lettuce was wilted, fries over cooked. They brought half the food out and by the time the other half came out we were done with the food and had to wait for them finish and the worst part it was the kiddos food was what was the last to come out. I hope the sheds so light on staffing better so that a quality service is provided. read more

Came here on a Monday morning and it was so busy to my surprise . It took a minute before i could even add my name on the waiting list. I think that needs to be more organized the young lady who seemed newish you can barely hear her when shes calling out names. Once we got seated our waitress was very friendly & we got our order in quickly. The food came out pretty fast & it was delicious. The only reason im giving it any stars is because of Gisselle. I asked a guy in a pony tail that I wanted to place a to go order. He proceeded to tell me to walk over to the pick up area. So I did, and Gisselle asked if I was picking up. I said no because I was placing a to go order in person. I understand that he is a waiter and that's probably not his job but communication is key. I was very impressed with the costumer service me and my family received during my visit for an evening dinner at this location. Our server ( Angela M ) was very kind and very professional. She handle the food with caution when it was hot and was always constant offering dressings , napkins , including extra drinks. The food was amazing thanks to the chefs during the shift it was very delicious. Angela gave a warm and inviting ambiance of a cozy cafe. Love coming to this Dennys, but it's always pack. Today they had two hostesses and a whole bunch of empty tables. The hostesses were always busy charging people but failed to sit people. A lot of us waiting were bothered by this. We figured one hostess should charge while the other sits people. Our waiter seemed fairly new but thanks to Luz who saved the day. She finished the job great! She stepped in while our waiter was busy taking another order (he took long taking that order). Liz was very polite, friendly, and you can tell she helps others with pleasure. Thank you Luz for being so helpful, sweet and generous to all. This is the second time we come here to this location and they are either closed or they tell me the system is down so they can't take my order. I'm not sure if they are doing it on purpose or they are short staff that they don't want to struggle. It is very inconvenient. They need to fix this issue or they will loose plenty of business if this persist. The service is fine though just it's annoying. Hope someone brings this to their attention. read more

This place has really improved over the years. Their pancakes and has browns were cooked to perfection. The burger was huge and tasted great. My son ordered a steak omelette that had plenty of big tender pieces of steak. Our server Pamela was so attentive, she made us feel as if we were in her home and she was taking care of us. I was under the impression Denny's was nasty so I stayed away for years, but I had a birthday coupon here so I went, and it exceeded my expectations! The food was literally perfect! What's on my mind: I come here often because I like Denny's and it's in my community. But Denny's I'm going to need to get our restaurant cleaned up inside and outside. First, the inside need the floors mopped on the regular because there and odor when entering, I know we live in the dusty Antelope Valley, so I'm not going to complain about the exterior of the windows, however the interior windows, shades and booth walls requires your attention too. Went to eat there today the place was empty and maybe like three tables max but ordered a triple cheeseburger and waited for like 45mins to an hour for my food because I had it to go I got there later my family had already eaten there food I placed my order the server repeated my order back to me exactly how I wanted too just for them To fucked it up like come on how hard can it be to make an order right the first time. I'm a fan of Denny's for breakfast. I've been going to the one on 47th St., East and Avenue West since 1982. I don't need eggs so I will order breakfast sides. I'll get pancakes, hashbrowns sausage, or bacon. Well today, I got sausage and was very disappointed. These were the smallest sausages I've ever seen. I don't think any bigger than 2 inches in length. Well I was very disappointed especially when you're paying $4.49 for an order of sausage. The size of the sausage should be in a kid's menu. I hope there's an improvement coming in or I will be finding another place to have breakfast. read more

Well yesterday Saturday 06/29/2024' We decided to have a delicious Denny's Breakfast, or so we thought! The wait was very long, and unlike the 5 minutes the young lady quoted. Made me think that the food must be awesome for such a wait to be had. We were directed to a table after in the beginning clarifying that we wanted a booth. We had to wait a bit more, but finally made it. It was during the waiting period that I observed families enjoying their Breakfast with plenty of children, one of the kids seated in a high chair was taken out as the family was done eating and leaving. One of the female employees took the high chair and without even bothering to wipe it returned it to where they place them (see photo). The food arrived and to keep this shorter, My Sausage tasted hard and dry, so I asked them to replace the two sausages with Bacon instead. The bacon that finally arrived was absolutely dry as well and tasted (no kidding) like cardboard..2 skinny slices ,dry, hard, tasteless on both orders. My Creeps which I had asked for with less Vanilla filling were stuffed with guess what? of course, plenty of Vanilla filling. During the waiting at table to be served , a nice family approached and were seated at the table along side of us and the first thing I noticed was one of the female Cashier's who was not wearing the glasses, walk right up to the uncleaned high chair and bring it to their table for their little girl toddler. I took the time to speak to what appeared to be the Dad and told him what I had observed and to ask someone to wipe the high chair down for his child. The man pulled his baby out of the high chair and I believed had that done. I asked for the Manager who showed up by the name of Enrique , and upset as I was, made my displeasure quite evident for all the blunders involved. I let him know that if I saw the children's high chairs were not wiped down and maintained in a cleaner manner that I would have no qualms about reporting this issue as children's safety should be all of our concern. I never asked for any discount or special treatment, but as I did not eat the foods in question( but to taste) , it did not really surprise me that I was charged only for one meal. I came hungry and left hungry! the only redeeming part of the meal was the Coffee. I know that Denny's has normally good tasting food for the most part, but I cannot say what happened today! I recommend that the next time in eating here, you keep an eye on the high chairs and see if the Manager Enrique really heard my strong suggestion and passed it on to his people as he said he would. If not, then you know what to do. I am sure the Health Department and or other's who care about the safety of children will or should listen! Oh, lets not forget about the Corporate Office! read more
