Yard house has sure had its ebb and flow of varied quality and experiences for the diner. We've been coming here for several years, and as the prices increased and the size of the dishes has decreased, we find we're not visiting as often. Here's the latest trip-up: The Ahi Crunchy salad was always my go-to lunch order. Well, they brought out my LARGE AC Crunch and my daughters small AC Crunch to us on our last visit, and my dish was a slightly larger diameter serving vessel, and - MAYBE - had a scant quarter cup more lettuce, but both had the same quantity of ahi. And mine was four dollars more expensive! What's THAT about..?!? The service has always been nice, but if you're going to raise prices you would do well to keep the serving slice consistent. Do they really think people don't notice this stuff..? If not, say hello to reduced visits by people who have enough options to go elsewhere. read more

I used to love coming here to grab and drink and get some good food. Feel like the food has gone downhill. It's just mid. The kiddos liked the pizza. My daughter didn't like the Mac n cheese. It was too rich. She was only able to eat 2 bites. The salad was pretty basic. The chicken was really dry. The fish and chips was soggy. I did like the Parmesan truffle fries. That was crispy with a good balance of truffle and garlic. The ribeye and veggies was really bland like they didn't season it at all. I liked the sweet potato fries. It was crispy and had a good crunch to it. Had a good balance of crisp and potato. No one likes soggy fries lol Great place to grab drinks, but the food is whatever. read more

Came during Happy Hour, which was Monday though Friday from 3pm to 6pm. Was told the wait was going to be 15 to 20 minutes for a table. Opted sit at the bar. Emiliano, bartender, was great. He was working really quickly, but did not forget about me. Order the Dragon Fruit Cosmo for $9.99 (Happy Hour took off $2). Also got the Poke Nachos for $8.50 (Happy Hour made it half off). Was happy sitting at the bar, watching the game. The cosmo was strong and alright. The nachos were very saucy this time. Will be back during Happy Hour. read more

Had a great experience with our waitress Dana. The drinks were great tried some new ones out this time around. The area they sat us was a little to close to kitchen so all we heard were dishes clanking I would suggest requesting a different area especially since they had just opened and enough tables to not be near the kitchen. I stopped by yard house for a quick solo lunch. There's plenty of seating Inside and out. I had the lemon pepper wings and a fish taco. I ordered extra lemon pepper rub that I wish they added in instead of on the side but everything was delicious anyway. Crystal was my server and she was good. The menu is huge! After a long hard drive the Yard House was my final destination. The restaurant was pretty full for a Monday evening and I requested a table for one. The bar was mostly full and made it difficult for me to grab a seat. The restaurant has many TVs showing Sports with a very relaxed crowd. My server came quickly to the table and I was able to order the spinach dip along with the Ahi tuna salad. The tuna or the salad was extremely fresh but a bit salty over all the spinach dip was rich and creamy and is a Yard House classic. Not a bad place to check out if you're in the area. read more

We got seated in a timely manner, which was the only good thing for our happy hour. I ordered a Chardonnay before we even ordered the meal. About five or 10 minutes later we ordered our food for happy hour and the food was delivered and I still didn't get my Chardonnay. It was delivered halfway through us finishing our food I mean, how hard is it to pour a glass of Chardonnay and the place was only half full. My friend ordered the sliders which were lukewarm and the fries, which seemed OK. I ordered the chicken bites buffalo style not only were they semi cold, but I must've gotten the end of the basket because there were a few actual chunks of chicken on top and underneath was nothing but breaded flour that had been fried. There was no meat inside of them highly disappointed. We tried to flag down the waitress, but we never got her attention until she was ready to give us our check. I tried to get accommodated for the late drink delivery and cold food, but she just kind of looked at me and laughed at. Yeah that would be nice wouldn't it? Here's the description of the meal: "seared rare, crispy garlic, sesame seeds, jasmine rice, charred baby broccoli, baby tomatoes, creamy ponzu sauce." They don't tell you that you're literally getting a 1/4 of tuna steak... kind of misleading. Not to mention the baby broccoli was basically nonexistent. Staff was on point in the front and at the bar, always a great experience otherwise. But the kitchen needs some attention, because this was definitely one of the more lackluster meals at YH in recent months. read more

Be careful about what you pay for here! always check your receipts and have a calculator ready! We paid with a debit card and on the receipt they emailed to me, there was an extra item that we did not order at our table. Talked to a manager and he insisted that we were not billed for an extra item. I calculated it out. the receipt that he printed out matches what the meal would have been if that extra meal was added on. so they faked the receipt to try to get an extra twenty dollars from us! be very careful on what you pay for at this location and make sure your bill adds up! read more

The food has always been top notch at any Yard House I've been to, and this is no exception. We were greeted and welcomed at the door by our darling, well mannered and hospitable hostess. Our server was attentive, upbeat and helpful. I had the Poke Nachos appetizer as my meal. It's every bit as delicious as it looks with thin crispy chips topped with fresh vegetables and sauce that complimented the dish. Last but not least, also fabulous sushi grade Ahi Tuna Poke, pleasingly marinated. My sister in law had grilled chicken salad that was generous. We were seated promptly in a booth in the back. Our server's name was Grant and he was on top of it! He asked if we were tight on time in case he needed to ensure our orders got to us as fast as possible. We didn't, but I appreciated him asking. Our orders still came out in a timely fashion. My buddy got a ribeye and I ordered the pork chop, and wow, it was one of, if not the very best pork chop I've ever had. It was so moist, juicy, and very flavorful. Definitely recommend if you want a change from your typical protein order. The poke nachos were also very tasty. So good that I ordered another to-go for my wife. Grant made sure all the ingredients were packaged separately so that nothing got soggy in transport. Great food and great service; this Yard House is doing well. I received a gift card for Mother's Day and decided to go to lunch. I ordered Brussels sprouts, house salad, cheesecake and coffee. The food was very good, especially the Brussel sprouts. I'm not a big fan of coffee, but I order it with my dessert. I asked for it to be flavored so I couldn't really taste the coffee. It was perfect. Our server, Emmanuel, was excellent. We had a very disappointing experience during our recent visit to Yard House in Palmdale.  When we arrived, we put our name in for a party of five and were asked to provide a phone number for a text notification when our table was ready. After waiting 30 minutes with no update, another member of our group checked in, only to be told they didn't have our number on file. When I approached the host stand and explained that I had given my number to the employee who was standing there earlier, we were told the next table would be ours. Once seated, things didn't improve. The seats were soaking wet, and we had to use napkins to dry them off ourselves. It then took about 20 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. We asked for additional silverware at that time, but it never arrived--my husband eventually had to go up to the front desk to get it himself. Our drinks took another 20 minutes to come out, and after placing our food order, we waited roughly 30 more minutes for it to arrive. One member of our party ordered four tacos but was only served three. We had to flag down our server to correct the mistake, and it took another 20 minutes for the final taco to arrive. After that, we never saw our server again--no check-ins, no water refills, and no opportunity to order additional drinks. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there appeared to be plenty of staff on hand, but many were standing around in groups talking rather than attending to customers. We've been coming here since it first opened and have always enjoyed it, which made this visit especially disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning. read more

We went to the Yardhouse, while the wait was long the food was great! Our waiter Dylan was great! When food was delivered to the table next to us, our granddaughter shouted (in baby vernacular cuz she is 15 months old) making it clear she wanted some. The sweet gal delivering food brought a small plate of fries back for her to enjoy! Real attention to the guests, above and beyond! Let me start by saying our server was GREAT. No complaints there. I ordered the Kish & Tell cocktail. There was something in it that was VERY spicy. The drink looked like there were red pepper flakes in it and chunks of something else floating in the drink. It tasted off, like one of the ingredients had spoiled. I sent the drink back and didn't order anything else from the bar. The calamari was average. The house salad was WAY overdressed making it inedible. No salad needs that much blue cheese dressing. The Mediterranean salmon was okay and well cooked. The kale, cauliflower, quinoa underneath it was under seasoned and bland. The spicy tahini sauce was VERY spicy. Thankfully it was in a cup on the side and I didn't use it beyond tasting it. I realize they are trying to turn tables, but we really didn't enjoy having all the food delivered at once. The meal was pricy for the quality of food served. I likely would not eat there again. read more

The food is NOT GOOD, very mediocre. pina colada was disgusting I had it sent back, I couldn't make out any flavor it was just blended sugar water. BJ's pina colada is the best. Wings were nasty, buffalo chicken pizza one of their more popular items was so underwhelming, didn't really get Buffalo... the sliders were bland. Mojito was too sweet, not worth $11. Dessert was a s'mores brownie meltdown - THE worst s'mores themed dessert I've tried. Bill came out to $123 for 4 dishes - 3 being appetizers and 2 drinks...That's insanely overpriced. The 2 waitresses we interacted with - mostly our main one..was not very attentive and a bit rude ngl. My replacement drink came at end of our meal.. I gave this place a fair chance 3 times, tonight was the last time. I don't recommend this place, you aren't missing anything, save your hard earned money and go somewhere nice down below. read more

It's been a while since I last dined here. We were promptly seated, and our waitress, Maria, quickly took our drink order. She suggested trying the Arnold Palmer made with passion tea and dragon fruit lemonade, which was absolutely delicious! For appetizers, we enjoyed the beer-battered thin-cut onion ring tower, which had a satisfying crunch. I really enjoy Yard House usually. I should've not gone in after seeing the review about the dirty doors because that is completely true. We got seated at a dirty booth, got served a flat beer, ordered lunch and waited over 30 mins. We are parents of 3 and went on a day date before our movie. My husband and I came with some friends a couple months ago but we hated the service, our server was just throwing the coasters at us and not even a hello out of him. We decided to go again last night because well the food is amazing and just hoping the service would be good. When I tell you if I can give this restaurant 20 stars I would !!! We were greeted with a big smile and sat at a booth and that's where we met Melvin our waiter. From that point on it just felt as if we were family . He treated us with so much respect. He's the most kind and sweetest person. Always made sure we were okay with everything. He did ask if we were celebrating anything special and we responded with our great news and showed compassion.
