My husband and I come here whenever we're in the mood for variety without breaking the bank. I used to frequent the Valencia location, but since moving to the Antelope Valley, this has become our go-to spot. The layout isn't my favorite, but the service more than makes up for it. Every server we've had has been attentive and friendly. The food is always cooked well, and we've rarely had to wait long for a table. We enjoy eating salads, pizza, steak, and burgers here and of course their infamous pazookies. The parking is also a nice bonus since it sits just outside the mall, making it easy to squeeze in some shopping before or after your meal. read more

OK, so my first review would've been a one star because you're forced to give it. We popped in for one of the soccer games when America was still in the race. As you can see from the pictures, it wasn't super crowded, but the service sucked. The Restaurant was dirty, when I say dirty they had to come over and re-clean our booth. And the bathroom was appalling. Even a pair of underwear were left on the floor. I know that's not something the staff can control but when I told the staff member in one of those pictures the bathroom needed to be attention he told me "You should let someone else know! The fudge!!! So I said "Do I work here, now? Why would I need to let more than one employee know that no matter what you do at the Restaurant??" I mean, am I wrong for that? Why do I have to walk around the restaurant trying to find an employee to let them know when you're an employee you go let whoever the right person is now is what I'm thinking. That left a bad taste in my mouth. Hence the picture I took of the employee. But the last time I was there, Saturday July 25. The prime rib was so good.. Almost seasoned to perfection, (they can still go heavier with the seasoning because it takes a lot for it penetrate all the way through.) they cut it perfectly It was a beautiful marbled medium rare piece. Ordered a pizookie platter to go.. said 20 minutes for pick up ended up being 50 minutes.. waiting wasn't the issue.. issue was a burnt $30+ pizookie that was hard as a rock and burnt to a crisp. They didn't grease the aluminum foil it was on so the bottom was stuck to the foil and wouldn't peel off. We ended up tossing majority of it as it was not edible. Was supposed to replace a bday cake. We came there for call Thursday. Sat at the bar. We ordered sliders with fries and a salad. 40 mins later the food arrived with cold fries and lukewarm sliders. We let them know about the fries, brought new ones 15 mins later. Unreal. The bartender was more worried about stocking the bar than the customer service. Never asked about refills, if we had everything needed or how they could make it right. Not sure who the manager is, but he needs to wake up and do better. Plan to call corporate as well. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at BJ's in Palmdale. What stood out the most wasn't even the food--it was how the manager, Brianna, treated the staff. She came across as rude and disrespectful toward her employees, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. The restaurant also appeared to be short-staffed at the front, but instead of helping her team during a busy time, she didn't seem interested in stepping in. Watching employees struggle while the manager stood by was frustrating. To make matters worse, when I brought up an issue with my food, I was met with attitude instead of an apology or an effort to make things right. Good customer service starts with good leadership, and unfortunately that wasn't the experience I had here. Wasn't happy with the food options nothing looked appealing. I settled for The chicken bacon club sandwich which looked good when it arrived but it was so messy. The avocado kept falling off and the tomatoes weren't even red they were green so that tasted off . The chicken kept spilling out from the sandwich it was in like chicken strips that made no sense to me. I asked for hot sauce Tabasco from three different people and i never once got it. I had to make my husband go to the food to go area to finally get some. The waitress was very nice but she always so busy with other tables . I think she had too many tables to take care off. Then,when they finally sat us, the waiter came by, greeted us, but didn't take our drink order, so we waited longer. Then as he was taking our order another server took over. We placed our order but everything seemed to go in slow motion. The pizza my friends ordered was not hot, hardly had any toppings including cheese and sauce. Their salad was soggy like it had been sitting there. My other friend had Parmesan crusted chicken, avocado egg rolls, and she said it was delicious. I can't complain about my flatbread pizza it was yummy. The vanilla cream soda was too good. It's been many years since I have been here. We waited about 5 minutes for a table. They handed us menus and showed us their special offers. Then, Leilani, our waitress for the evening, greeted us. She brought our drinks and some yummy appetizers. A few minutes later, we ordered our meals. I got calamari as an appetizer. It wasn't super flavorful, though. Leilani asked if everything was okay with our appetizer, but we didn't say anything. Our meals arrived, and they were pretty good. Leilani was taking a break, so Vanessa was taking over her tables. We ordered our desserts with Vanessa, who I think was also training someone. Even after Leilani came back from her break, Vanessa asked if we were still doing okay or if we needed anything. That was a really nice touch. BJ's was pretty busy. There was a busboy constantly picking up dirty plates and cleaning tables. It was a bit loud because music was playing. The music made it a bit hard to have a conversation, but overall, we had a great evening. They had TVs all over the restaurant, and they had multiple sports games on. Cell phone reception is terrible here, but BJ's does have free Wi-Fi. read more

I went into the BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Palmdale, CA and was promptly seated, and in front of a TV that had the MLB channel on. I was then greeted by a server that I know there, whose name is Valeria, and she walked up with my drink on her tray, which was an iced tea. She then asked if I knew what I was having for lunch today, and I chose an old favorite of mine there which was a chicken Ceasar salad. This is a meal that is light and doesn't take time to finish off! After a bit, my server Valeria came up with my salad which looked really good. Between eating and catching up on the MLB trades on the MLB network I had a relaxing lunch. For dessert today I had 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream, again simple and light. One thing I really like about this BJ's restaurant is the staff is super nice, and this restaurant is very clean. My hats off to the cooks or whomever prepared my salad today for its nice presentation and taste, and a big thanks to my server today Valeria who took great care of me today! Don't bother trying to DoorDash an order from here. Everytime I've tried, I'm always missing food from the order. The first time I ordered 4 burgers with fries. My order came and I was missing all 4 fries. After the manager gave me a half way apology, we thought we'd give it another try about a month later. This time we were missing a whole meal and two of the ice creams that come with the pazookie. Tried calling the restaurant and was left on hold for 15 minutes. My husband ended up driving to the restaurant to get the missing items. The receipt literally has boxes to check off to verify all items have been accounted for. Not sure what step is being missed, but management needs to do a better job of quality control. Needless to say, we won't be ordering delivery from here anytime soon. We came here late night with a group of 7. It was not a busy night for a Saturday night. We got seated within 5min. Our server for the night was Mariah, she took our drinks and appetizers order right away. Our drinks were spot on, however we ordered mozzarella sticks and they were cool to the touch, as they just took them out of the fridge and put them on a plate. We asked for a new plate and that was resolved. But, then we had to keep asking for things. Ex. We didn't get any appetizers plates so we asked for them, then we had to ask for utensils because the food was brought out and we had no utensils, then we had to ask for napkins. All of this could have been done while we were waiting for the food. The food was ok with the exception of the wedge salad. You could tell it was stale, but at this point I was over the service and just left it there. I was so looking forward to try the strawberry shortcake pizookie but I was afraid they would not deliver. Maybe another time. I came for the pizookie! Been a long while since our last visit decided to stop in for some lunch. Welcomed and escorted to our table. Surprisingly no wait when we arrived on a Sunday. Love the rich tones inside like a refurbished firehouse. Plenty of screens to choose from to watch a game. After much patience from our server we finally decided on chicken wings, chili and chicken sandwich which came with fries to share. The chicken sandwich had pickles and slaw, spicy ketchup and mayo on the side. The cherry on top was the strawberry shortcake pizookie! Omg it's my new favorite! I love vanilla and this sugar cookie was perfectly crisp and chewy in all the right places. Then the ice cream and fresh strawberries mmm mmm good! We used to love coming to BJ's and recently went to celebrate a heavenly birthday for my mama. We were a bit disappointed, sat with empty dirty dishes most of the time, and had a couple things not go quite as we requested. Our silverware was dirty, as well as the booth they sat us at . I asked for a dirty martini, with extra olives, and was given just a gin martini and three olives, with one of the olives being bad. I requested olive juice on the side. The food was good! We love the $13 meal deal with an entree, side, AND Pizookie however you have to check your pickup order before you leave the restaurant because they tend to get something wrong. This is a very busy spot so we get it, but it's always good to check since they will happily remake it. When it is made right, it is a really good takeout meal! I was in the area for work and wanted something sweet the night before we left. This place was close to our hotel so we walked over to have a Pizookie. It was really good! I tried the strawberry shortcake one with extra puree instead of fresh strawberries. It can hosts a big crowd of guests and there is plenty of room. It does have a high ceiling and is easy for guests to see and feel comfortable. There are a lot of flat screen TVs all around which is good for viewing in every table. Food: Appetizer Fried Couscous Mac and Cheese Balls - It is good. You can taste the couscous inside, tasty and just the right size. It came scorching hot which is good because it's the perfect way to serve food. Entrée: BJ's Classic Rib-Eye* with White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and House Wedge Salad - The steak was cooked to how we wanted it - medium well. It is tender, delicious, and seasoned well. The sides portion are good enough. Dessert: Free Pizookie - I didn't know that there are a few different kinds to choose from. We decided on the Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with Vanilla Ice Cream. Three months later and service is still bad. They bring everyone's food out at completely different times. They took forever to bring out soup for one of us and we sat there awkwardly as plates came out 10 mins apart each. The soup was like 30 mins after everyone else started getting their food. We asked for a spoon and she tossed a plastic spoon on our table to eat a Pazooki with. They don't communicate that food will take a long time. 30 mins and everyone's already had their plates way before one person at the table sitting with nothing. Alondra is horrible. We frequent bjs often, first time having Alondra and she made our dining experience awkward to say the least. She was so rude from the time we sat down to the time we paid our bill, And for no apparent reason at all. We were kind to her as we always are to everyone there, always said please and thank you but never got one in return from her. The food is consistently delicious, and I really love the $13 meal deal they offer! it's an awesome addition and definitely worth it for the quality and portion sizes. The ambiance is perfect if you want to watch a game and have a beer. The servers are always friendly and attentive, which makes dining here even better. That said, I've noticed a little inconsistency lately with the Pazooki. It's one of my favorite desserts, but the last few times I've ordered it, it's come out still too doughy in the center. I recommend him to anyone eating there. The food is always good too, well worth their prices. I love the ambiance too, it's a great pace to watch sports on their many TVs.
