Unfortunately, I have to update my review. I attempted to celebrate my 19th anniversary at the Lancaster location on 09/11/26. I was sat in Rachel M.'s section. I have had Rachel twice in the past and each time we had bad experiences. Though, I wanted to change servers, it was an hour before closing and noticed there was not a lot of employees present. Rachel has always had an unpleasant attitude while serving us, she appears passive aggressive, our orders come out wrong, we have to ask various times for items such as extra ranch. The first time she served us which was in 2025, she missed my whole entree and blamed it on being new and the restaurant being busy. I canceled the entree. I haven't been here in about 3 months and I noticed a lot of has changed such as the bread, we received a white rolls and they now charge 3% to use a credit/debit card. Every time I asked Rachel a question, she would walk away while answering the question and did not answer the question fully. She appeared as if she was bothered by us. I had a free entree and I told her I wanted to apply it my husband's steak entree. She came back with the bill and she took off my salad. I told her again, I wanted it to be taken off for the steak entree and her response was "the system does it automatically" and walked away without letting my respond. I do not believe this to be true because I am a frequent guest and I know I can use my free entree on whatever I want. Unless this also has changed. Rachel never came back to our table after waiting ten minutes thus we went to the front desk. The girl working the front desk on 09/11/2026 around 9:45pm was very pleasant and helpful. Rachel saw us talking and came up. When the girl told Rachel what I was requesting, Rachel stormed past her and stated, "you need to call Brian for that" and walked away. Brian, who I assume is the manager, arrived to front desk to help me and he made the adjustment. However, he didn't apologize for the inconvenience nor did he ask me how my night/meal was. Our anniversary was only acknowledge by the front desk girl. Rachel never said anything about it. Rachel M. has a very bad attitude. I do not like to believe this is racial but at this time it could be. As I have now had three bad experiences with Rachel M. since 2025 at the Lancaster location. If things do not begin to improve at this location, Lancaster may forced to shut down as Texas Roadhouse is being built across the street. Servers like Rachel M. will make it easier for us loyal customers to transition over. The food quality went downhill. The filet mignon was rough. I ordered a chopped steak cobb salad but nothing was chopped. I got old pieces of bacon ripped in half, a whole boiled egg, and overdone steak on top. I had this same salad over a year ago and it was excellent. Not sure what is going on but it is terrible. read more

Brought two empty bottles of steak sauce. When waiter didn't bring my replacement after 20 min, had to bring it to his attention. after someone else brought it out to me. It was raw, but I figured that would be ok so I can go home and cook it myself. Birthday gent was done eating his dinner. I still thought they might just igknowledge the birthday but that never happened. Asked for go containers, had to use many containers cause the containers were too small. Not as good as a year ago. It was Father's Day and we had a reservation. We were seated very quickly. We ordered the Campfire Feast. We chose potato skins as the shareable appetizer. You get 6 potato skins served with sour cream and Ranch dressing. These were hot and very good. We both ordered the 15 oz New York Steak. He ordered his medium and I ordered mine well done. I confirmed that I could get it well done (no pink) without it being burned. My husband ordered broccoli and baked potato for his sides. I ordered au gratin potatoes and the vegetable of the day which was corn on the cob. I ordered the sugar free Dr. Pepper and my husband a cocktail. The drinks were good. My husband's meal was excellent - a good Father's Day meal. Mine was a disaster. The steak came out very pink (which after returning to the kitchen came back still pink on one end and burnt on the other. The au gratin potatoes were lukewarm and the corn on the cob was not even warm enough to melt the provided butter. They offered to cook me another meal but by then my husband was done. I can't understand how one meal can be so good but the other a disaster. The manager did come out and took $25 off the bill which I appreciated but I told her it was not necessary. The value, had my dinner been okay, was very good. If we could give 1/2 stars I would have given a 3 1/2. read more

It was my first time ever eating at a Black Angus and I really enjoyed the food and the service my girl Olivia provided me with. The inside was really spacious. Dimmer lighting, not crowded, clean, and wasn't too loud or noisy. I had the center cut New York strip and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the Mac and cheese was really good, and the baked potato went well with the plate. I removed a star only because it did take a while for my order to actually be taken. Other than that, I enjoyed my meal and my time here. Another shoutout to Olivia. Horrid place to go for dinner. Everything was absolute garbage and we couldn't get a drink refill to save the world. Service was awful as well and the place was loud from people talking about politics and kids screaming at the top of their lungs. BEWARE of new fees. I went in to get a gift card for a friend of mine. I was shocked when I saw that a 3% service charge was added to the total because I used a credit card for payment. One month ago there wasn't a 3% surcharge for credit card usage. Came here for a girlfriends birthday and wasn't able to catch the young blonde waitress/servers name who helped us last Saturday and she was great! Had a nice lunch with the husband yesterday, 7/16/26. Laura was our server. Very nice and accommodating. Husband ordered prime rib sandwich, which was an open face. Laura was kind enough to switch out the bread. She toasted the sourdough herself to make a regular sandwich. My husband was very pleased. He said the prime rib was tender, and delicious. Service was good but we had issues with our food . We come at least twice a month . The food was different this time . Instead of their complimentary wheat bread , we were given hard sourdough rolls . They were so hard I couldn't even bite into it . Also I asked for an extra side of bbq sauce to go with my fries . The sauce was watery and it wasn't the same sweet bbq that I get every time I go . So I get my Rodeo Burger and the buns weren't the same either , cheap thin buns that fell apart . First time trying Black Angus Steakhouse. I had the Ribeye with garlic herbs & butter. My sides were mash & steak soup. Everything was really good and the service was amazing. Definitely will be coming back again! Total was $50 but I paid using the Inkind app, you get 20% cash back. So I only ended up paying like $15 since I had $37 in cash back rewards! Worst experience!! The waitress was very nice and was quick to place our orders. The reason for the star rate is because it took too long for our table to receive our food and everyone's plate of food was cold. Even when ordering the extra, special side of Brussel sprouts for $13.99 we received a very small potion. A tiny overdone, mushy side of brussel sprouts. My husband's prime rib (ordered medium rare) was rare (nearly raw) and served cold with cold sauces. Prime rib should always be served warm to hot. My barbecue chicken salad was good. The waitress was excellent, friendly and worked her tail off but she was assigned to our table and others and was spread thin. We will not be returning. And please, whoever monitors and responds to this review on behalf of this restaurant, don't offer the usual canned apology and platitudes. Simply correct your problems. read more

The waitress used the "there was a glitch in the computer system and the kitchen didn't get your order" excuse. She then sends the mgr over who was so annoyed that we were asking about our order. We started eating our steaks, later the waitress came back and said oh you missed your appetizer, I heard, I said yes, she said I'll be right back. She never did, after that she was kind of rude, a guy brought the appetizer later. At the end we felt rushed through the meal , we had told her that we were going to have dessert, then she asked me you don't want dessert right? I said yes we do and it comes with the meal... she brought the dessert. We finished. We left her a good tip as courtesy cause we always do. But if you asked me if I will ever go back to this place my answer is no. Even people with reservations were wanting 30-45+ minutes. No one cares, their system is dated and doesn't work, the hostesses lack training, ethics, or customer service , they seem motionless, management don't care. I know they were busy but they seemed lost. My partner went to the restroom before we left, I waited for her at the entrance where the hostess station is and as we were going out, I overheard the hostesses giggling. They still never called me. Even though, I even gave them my phone number. This made me understand that they are allowed to mistreat people, meaning that how is management their employees are the same because they allowed them to have that kind of unethical behavior. Our reservation is at 6:30 but they sat us 10minutes early. Yay!! Our server came right away to get our drinks. Cool. Then gave us time to decide for our orders. While waiting for our food, the complimentary bread wasn't served until we asked our server. Hmm he was kind of slow. Our entrees came, both 16oz Rib Eye with sides of Au Gratin Potatoes, Green Beans, Mashed Potato and Fresh Broccoli. Yummy!! The Rib Eye was cooked to perfection. It is tender, tasty, and delicious.
