The shop is located a little way down the Blvd and looks so pretty amd welcoming from the outside! On entry I was greeted by friendly staff and I was told we are allowed two samples of Italian ice and two samples of the custard. Everything I tasted was too delicious I wanted it all. In the end I went with a scoop of strawberry shortcake and a scoop of cookies and cream. So perfectly smooth and custardy, and the flavors are phenomenal but the strawberry shortcake takes the cake, it's so delicious. Next time I'm Going to have to ask if they sell it by the pint!!! It's dangerous that this place is located so close to my dentist because I might get into the habit of stopping by after every teeth cleaning hahaha!

Last minute call to QD's turned out to be one of the best things I did for my son's 2nd bday party. Eric and Doris are very friendly and punctual. Best BBQ I've had in California! We got the St.Louis Ribs, beef briskets ,and smoked chicken. Ribs were gone in like 15minutes everyone asking if we had more and where did we order from. Doublebarrel BBQ is the best bbq i have ever tasted in California.Being from the South i know good bbq and this place is the TRUTH! The tray was well sealed, so I had no worries about it traveling well, and we had no leakages. By the time we got to our destination (you know those freeways!), the cobbler had been out for about two hours, but it was still warm, so of course, we couldn't resist having that instead of lunch, lol. Yum, yum, nice warm cobbler with tasty crust, lots of peach slices with texture (not those mushy ones from canned peaches), and lovely spices. I tend to separate into pretty small servings, so I divided it up into more than 25 portions, and we've frozen the lion's share of that. We've heated the frozen portions and put vanilla ice cream on them...and let's just say we're going to have to start exercising a lot more, lol. I'm delighted to have tried D&B BBQ and Catering, and there are a lot of nice little shops in the Sol Plaza Boutique mall where they are located. We'll definitely be back!
