It is my opinion that this is one of the best bakeries in the Antelope Valley. I also believe that they are fashioned after old-school ways. I love the staff and it is very clean. Amazing and great service here. I stop here every other week to indulge in my sweet tooth. My go to is the mango cake, cheesecake and chocolate raspberry cake. This place is a true gem and I'm glad that we have this here in the AV The inside is cute and has tables and chairs to sit down and eat your sweets. They also offer sandwiches, juices, aguas and coffee drinks. I can't wait to come back to try their sandwiches. read more

When I was in Lancaster, this bakery came up and I have seen so many great reviews, so I tried it. I bought a slice of mocha cake and crème brûlée. They both have excessive amount of sugar. It was ok but nothing spectacular. Service was wonderful. As you walk in you can smell the sweet sugary scent. Located on Lancaster Blvd, gentrified part of Lancaster. Street parking. I might come back to try something else but not anytime soon. read more

Who needs to drive down to Burbank for Porto's pastries when you can hit Lancaster Boulevard and get some Caramel's. How good are the pastries? Put it this way, I'm allergic to mangoes but their mango mousse cake is so good, I just take Benadryl before eating it . I kid you not! My 1st time visiting Caramel Pastries, and the shop is located on the BLVD. It's a very small shop with a couple of tables and the lighting is a bit dim. They had the pastries behind the counter. When I went, it was in the afternoon so they had limited option. I tried my first bread pudding here and it was delicious! I love how the thick dense texture and the sweetness. Though it leaned more sweet than what I usually get at local Asian pastries shop, it was still pretty good and I would get it again. It was $4.50. Thought this place would make for a nice reading spot, but I wouldn't recommend for studying as they don't offer outlets or Wifi to customers. read more

Customer service is bad, first time here and placed an online order ahead of time and received wrong cake when i brought the issue to service provider they accommodate me with two small slices vs a whole cake due to leaving the cake we had already cut into the day prior after store hrs at home saying they'd need that cake back for a refund or exchange because they would resell it ?! Disgusting!!! Imagine what other food items sit there and are sold days later ! read more

The cake made for us was absolutely wonderful. It was a rich chocolate cake paired perfectly with a light, smooth Bavarian type cream that balanced the flavors beautifully. The whipped icing was light and not overly sweet, making every bite feel indulgent without being heavy. The cake was fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious from start to finish. Their Napoleons are delicious! I would come here just for those. I love how it has a layer of caramel on top, it has the perfect amount of sweetness and the texture of the puff pastry. The layers are also very creamy and well balanced. Tried their fruit tart as well, it was a solid 3.5/5 for me. I love the way it turned out (looks wise), and how much fruit they use. However I wasn't a big fan of the crust or the whipped cream they used. I'd prefer a more custard filling instead but to each its own. Today was our first time visiting this bakery. We've heard good things about it so we decided to stop by since we were in the area. Once in we were not greeted or helped in a friendly manner. The older women there was very rude the entire time attending to us. Since it was our first time we were asking questions about the flavors of pastries they had and she seemed very annoyed even tapping her long finger nails. We just got three cakes cuz we didn't want to bother anymore. This will be our last time visiting this place. I would not recommend. They make you feel unwelcome. Had a sweet tooth, and checked out Caramel Pastries. Was not disappointed. Had the mini crème brûlée. Also tried the cream puff, which was adorably shaped like a swan. A little on the sweet side for me but my family loved them. Saw they do sandwiches as well using their fresh baked crescents, so we are planning to go back for brunch soon. Such a great bakery! We always get cakes for our coworkers here and they always make the most heavenly creations. But they also have cookies, puffed pastries, muffins, and croissant sandwiches. Love the service staff, location on Lancaster Blvd is perfect, and the restaurant has good space inside to sit with a cup of coffee and a sandwich. read more

Caramel Bakery creates lovely and delicious pastry and cakes. I ordered and paid ahead a birthday cake for my son. The service was lousy. I asked at the register if I could pick up my purchase... No you must stand in line behind customers that are dining in that day. The couple in front of me were browsing and a line was building behind me. No management sent out a second salesperson for 10 minutes. REALLY rude no regard for customer service . I will never support this business as They continue to be arrogant and deserve 1 star but their pastries are delicious. I've been fortunate to try lots of bakeries in the Bay Area and I am so glad I found this gem in Lancaster. The value is excellent. There cakes were better a few years back. If you go buy from the cakes they have there they taste like they've been sitting a few days. No one greets you when you go in or even acknowledge you. Not surprised the owner doesn't have any customer service and it shows in the other employee's. You'll just stand there till the 1 person working the counter acknowledges you. If there was a zero star that's what I would put. Sandra, the manager is so unprofessional. I bought 6 individual pastries. Paid for them separately. Then paid cash for the two tags I wanted them to write. She doesn't communicate with her workers about needing to place the HB Tags on the pastries in order to order them. So she scolds her workers in front of the customers and in front of me, in Spanish, for agreeing to sell it to me. The worker doesn't know what she doesn't know. So train your people better! So she tells her workers that she won't write them and will just give me my money back. I addressed her personally and she just walks away and won't even talk to me.! She's the manager and she can't tell the customer what the deal is.Instead of saying I'm sorry for the misunderstanding blah blah, she looks at me and walks away and she was annoyed! The WORST THING in this establishment is SANDRA, the manager. Sandra is rude and ungrateful for all the business I have brought them . A regular customer like myself will not tolerate no appreciation for their patrons. It's a shame! To do the little thing with the HB-signs! And the thing is, they've done it for me before! They wrapped it in individual plastic! Unbelievable! Note to the owner: because you just lost a customer! And I'm not the only one that has complained about Sandra. You don't deserve my continued business. I will never come to this place again! And more importantly, I asked to be refunded of all the pastries I just bought. I will no longer showcase your goods and it's because of Sandra. I'd hate to work and have a manager like her. With ZERO CUSTOMER CARE and no professionalism. So, it's not just about having good merchandise. You have to actually care about your customers! read more

The pastries here are delicious, we got the Tiramisu, chocolate Raspberry, Crème Brûlée, Swans cream puffs and Cannoli. My favorite was the ChocolateRaspberry and Tiramisu. They also have cakes, Sandwiches, drinks and breakfast pastries as well. Caramel Pastries Is very clean and staff was observed washing their hands to prepare your order which was a plus for me. I walked in with my sister took a while to get greeted. Once FINALLY greeted we asked to give us a minute. The disgusting woman in the front wearing a mask mumbled something under her mouth, rolled her eyes, walked away & threw/slammed her tray on the counter. What kind of customer service is that? I would understand if we came in rude, but we came in eagerly looking foward to a treat, however we were treated very poorly. After that encounter with that lady we didn't bother purchasing anything. A friend recommended Caramel Pastries in Lancaster as one of the ~best~ bakeries ever, so of course we made a stop here before leaving town! We came on a mid-morning Saturday, and luckily the place was empty save for a patron or two enjoying a cookie and a cup of coffee. Unfortunately the display cases weren't as filled up as I expected, but the super nice woman behind the counter with a fantastic name (hint: it's the same as mine hehe) helped me out. I ordered a small black forest cake for a friend of ours and a mini cheesecake. Service was great as Leslie was able to accommodate our request for a "Happy Birthday and Welcome Home Xi!" sign, which she fit perfectly on a square piece of chocolate to put atop the cake. The mini cheesecake was for myself to try and I kinda wished I ordered a regular sized one haha. It was creamy and tangy and so yummy. Will most likely be coming here again the next time we road trip out that way! read more

I hate having to leave this review. But I want the owner to know what is going on. I called the business and asked to speak to a manager, so I can let them know what's going on, so I can avoid leaving this review . However, they hung up on me the first time as soon as they heard that I have a complaint. The quality of food is getting worse as time goes by. Staff named Stacy overcharges; I thought it was a mistake, but seems to be an ongoing issue. She has a terrible attitude for no reason. The first time I thought it was just someone having a bad day. Absolutely amazing!! Caramel's came highly recommended from multiple friends. I called the same day as the party like any irresponsible adult would do. They had a choice of a few different cakes. My initial email to place the order went unanswered until I followed up by phone days later. A cake flavor was baked before I confirmed my final choice, and I had to repeatedly follow up to confirm the filling I wanted, which made the ordering process feel stressful and disorganized. When I arrived for pickup at the scheduled time, I waited 15-20 minutes, received no greeting, and "Happy Birthday" was not written on the cake as requested. Later that evening, I discovered the filling was not what I had confirmed. The filling requested was Nutella. I was offered only a partial refund because the cake had already been served to my guests. On the day that I took back the cake to get my refund, the lady initiating the refund told me that they don't offer Nutella because it is artificial, yet they clearly have it on their list of cake flavors(see picture). Overall, the communication, attention to detail, and customer service did not meet expectations. I never received any apologies for ruining my birthday.
