Horrible customer service! I recently ordered a birthday cake from Sinful Treats and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. My initial email to place the order went unanswered until I followed up by phone days later. A cake flavor was baked before I confirmed my final choice, and I had to repeatedly follow up to confirm the filling I wanted, which made the ordering process feel stressful and disorganized. When I arrived for pickup at the scheduled time, I waited 15-20 minutes, received no greeting, and "Happy Birthday" was not written on the cake as requested. Later that evening, I discovered the filling was not what I had confirmed. The filling requested was Nutella. I was offered only a partial refund because the cake had already been served to my guests. On the day that I took back the cake to get my refund, the lady initiating the refund told me that they don't offer Nutella because it is artificial, yet they clearly have it on their list of cake flavors(see picture). Overall, the communication, attention to detail, and customer service did not meet expectations. I never received any apologies for ruining my birthday. read more

Went here after school with my daughter, and I hadn't been here since they were over by the Walmart. To be honest, the macaroons were a little bit unimpressive. Macaroons didn't have incredible flavor. But more than that. I tend to like a little chew in mine, and that could be just a personal preference but I wouldn't go back there for these. I've been here a couple of times within the last two years. I would have to say the quality of the cupcakes is consistently good. The cupcakes aren't too sweet and I like how they make it sort of "poke" cake style. The creme brulee cupcake is amazing with it's custard like top and moist cake with a different pudding nestled on top of the cake part itself. Anything that has a fruit topping uses fresh fruit. They also make wonderful fruit tarts. I think I was helped by the owner the first time I went. She was polite and professional. The second time I went, I was helped by a very sweet young lady with glasses. Both times, they were helpful in helping me pick out the cupcakes I wanted to buy. I also appreciate how their prices hadn't changed since the first time I went. (It's $3.50 per cupcake. Much more affordable than the cupcakes shop in Palmdale). I'm so conflicted their treats are good but we came yesterday it was closed the sign and website said open we called no answer Then we walked in today and my 11 yr old touched the swing and it obviously swung she said it was for pictures only, noted then my 5 yr old does the same she was so focused ok them making the swing move they weren't even on it she probably repeated it like 3/4 times that it was only for pictures I than asked for water she said they sold bottle water and never offered to give it to me or me even pay she didn't even offer it at check out the frosting on the cake was the fact that when we were leaving the kids said bye thank you and their response was silence We like the treats but to what cost? Oh my gosh, this may have been a huge mistake on my part, coming in here today because I have a new "sinful" habit! Let's start with the super friendly service courtesy of Jasmine when I called ahead to check their hours and ask if they have red velvet cupcakes. Not only did they, Sinful Treats had a case filled with several different flavors of cupcakes (and so many other goodies) available for walk-ins, and they're all gorgeous! Today I think there were at least a dozen to choose from. The cupcakes are artistically decorated and as appropriate, they are adorned with glitter. Yes, I said GLITTER! IRIDESCENT SPARKLES! Why, oh why can't I seem to post my video of the goodies in the case? Yelp has allowed me to post videos before. I'll keep trying. In addition to the macarons and cupcakes, they had some pretty decadent looking slices: brownies, maybe cheesecakes? mini cupcakes, chocolate dipped strawberries, I saw fruit tarts, miniature 3-tiered birthday cakes.. and ice cream! They make their own; and there were a few exotic flavors. I chose to sample the Beer ice cream, and it was surprisingly tasty! I'm not a beer person, but I enjoyed the sample. Back to that red velvet cupcake. The cream cheese frosting is divine! Light, not cloyingly sweet, delicious flavor. A wonderful balance against the moist red velvet cake. This wasn't just a chocolate cupcake with a bunch of food coloring, it had a delicious and delicate flavor! Oh so dangerously delectable AND it was pretty! I have finally tried "Sinful Treats." I had heard so many great things about them. I will say that the service was extraordinary. They responded promptly to upon my entering of the store, great work, I have had to wait in the front of other stores for over 5 minutes with no acknowledgement. This bakery (cupcake shop) has a small waiting area with a large case that is filled with great looking items. But I have to say that is about as far has that goes. I am not saying that the cupcakes are bad, but I am also not saying that they're good either. They were sweet, sinful, but treats not so much. I got a red velvet and chocolate, and the sweetness of the frosting overpowered any other flavor if there was any in the red velvet. The chocolate was an extremely sweet chocolate. So would I return, maybe. If you like SUPER sweet cupcakes, this is the place to go. So, the store is nice and the service exceptional. If you go enjoy your treat. read more

I've been here a few times and it's frustrating having to ask the price of an item. The inventory changes frequently so you never know what it would cost. I know the macarons and cupcakes are listed but everything else is not. Last time I was there, I wanted 2- six pack cupcakes. 6 for me and 6 for a friend. I was told that if I wanted to split the cupcakes in six each, they would charge me $1 for the other container. Wow. I said nevermind and just left with my six cupcakes. I go to this place all the time! They have amazing baked goods! They even have pet friendly ones. It's decorated so so cute! The person at the front, she's always the same one, and she's so sweet!! I really wanted to like this place. I was just disappointed. I ordered treats for a baby shower. Put all the info in the email such as colors, theme, sex of the baby. I thought maybe they will make some really cute desserts, based on their display case which looked amazing. Some of their cupcakes and ice cream are good! I've purchased some of their cookies that are located in the display box by the register and they have been rock hard. I'm writing this review due to the worker that works there. She is the one that wears glasses. She is awfully rude and has been rude on multiple occasions. Not welcoming at all. My niece saw the swing once we walked in. She was touching the ropes and nowhere near sitting on it. She was admiring it. She said "the swing is just for selfie purposes." After we left my niece even told me that she had seen the selfie sign on the wall but she wasn't going to sit on it. Another time it was about 30 minutes prior to closing and some people had bought some desserts. They paid and they were going to sit down inside since it was extremely windy outside and she said "just to let you know, we will be closing shortly." So those people went outside and ate their dessert. You still had plenty of time prior to closing why would you tell your customers this. Cupcake favorites are carrot cake and cookies and cream. Cute store, friendly staff. They have homemade ice cream and the berry one is soooo good. Has real fruit and pie crust. The honey lavender is good, a little too sweet for me but the flavor is there. They have cute looking cake pops. We haven't tried the macarons yet and will do the next time we go. Been here a few times whilst picking my kids from school. We always take advantage and stop by the few times I've been lucky enough to catch them open a little pass 4:15pm (they're closing time). We've tried they're ice cream shakes and they're variety of flavors have all been delicious, honey comb bomb! The only worker there had the worst customer service ever and even rolling her eyes at my 2 year old. They have a swing there and my son touch it and she stated in a rude tone, it's only for pictures and if you can see it's about to fall off, the hinges are loose. Then he touch the board in the counter then she rolls her eyes and snaps Don't touch that!! Well if the swing display is not properly installed and the hinges did look loose, why not fix it. That's a liability!!!!! Can I just be the first to say this, about time we have a place like this down here! This place is in a great location. As soon as you walk in, this place takes your breath away. Everything about it is aesthetically pleasing, down to the marble flooring, flower selfie wall, to the unicorn color painted walls. It smelt so fantastic that it was hard to choose we wanted to try first. We finally decided on frozen yogurt and lavender macarons. So much pastries to choose from and they also cater. I've been coming to this shop since they opened and have never had an issue until today. Walked in and asked for six cupcakes as I'm picking flavors the girl says they have one chocolate with whip n strawberry left if I want it, so I took it, paid and went to my car took the cupcake out of the tray and it looked like red velvet so I pinch a small piece of to make sure and sure enough it's red velvet. So I took it back in and asked for a chocolate cupcake since the one she offered me was red velvet and not chocolate. She look at the cupcake and looked at me like if I was crazy. So I say this is the one you said was chocolate and it's not can I get a chocolate one, she goes to the back of the bakery and then comes back to the front ( which turns out she asked the manager in the back what to do) and says just this time. Like are you kidding me! I said what do you mean just this time it's not my fault you gave me the wrong flavor. She looks at me and says we'll you bit it. So was she gonna put it back in the case if I didn't bite it? I explained that I took a piece to make sure it was in fact red velvet before coming back to let her know since she's the one who told me it was chocolate. So she gives me a chocolate cupcake I asked for a napkin and she goes so your gonna keep the red velvet one, I said look I wasn't gonna waste food but here throw it away, and then I got my cupcakes out of my car so she can see that I had a red velvet and no chocolate cupcakes because at this point she makes me feel like im just trying to get a free cupcake.
