Honestly ,I haven't been here in so long. My husband on the other hand is a frequent customer. Decided to bring my granddaughter here for a special treat. She absolutely loves ice cream. For starters there is plenty of parking outside which makes it so convenient. They have plenty of choices inside and also various ice cream cakes to purchase. Today I found out I have a broken foot. I went to Hawaii and I rolled my ankle on a rock 2 weeks ago. My partner took me out for ice cream after leaving the ER. Went in and ordered a fresh pac Chocolate Mouse Royale. As I entered the store I walked over to the front case as I always to check the inventory as sometimes they don't have that flavor. Instead of getting a Welcome to Baskin Robbins I got "go behind the tables to order", I didn't understand it the first time and wasn't really worried about it and after I saw they had the product I turned and started to go behind the tables. That's when a burly woman screamed from the doorway to the back room "GET BEHIND THE TABLES!" I saw who it was and what she was, smiled, and moved slowly behind the tables as I have for the several months. She then went back to her conversation with her friend it appeared. They then left the doorway and went back into the back room leaving the young lady on her own working on a complicated cake order for 12 minutes with another customer in line. Oh, the young lady, her name started with a "B," was outstanding in her demeanor and customer service. The customer that ordered the cakes was very impressed with her and said so. The service that she gave me was outstanding and if I still had my business open I would hire her and probably double her wages. Management should get rid of the loudmouth worker with an attitude as I would never go back to that store if we we're remaining in Lancaster. As it happens that is the last time as we are leaving Calif after 73 years. Can't take it any longer. read more

Dead roach was in the corner of their freezer! I used to love coming here, but last week I came in ordering two chocolate malts. I was looking at all the flavors when I noticed a dead cockroach in the corner of there ice cream freezer. I asked for a manager on duty and there wasn't one so I told the gal that was making my ice cream. It wasn't removed right away, they just kinda brushed it off. If I could give this place no stars I would. I placed a custom cake order a week before I needed it. I went into the store to pick it up and they DID NOT HAVE THE CAKE. We are talking about a cake for a 12 year old boy. The "Team Lead" continues to explain that it's not on him instead of offering ways to fix it. When I get upset and say one curse word he, (Antonie) is quick to tell me not to curse but still can't tell me how to fix the situation. It's like they don't know anything about how it feels to order a cake for a child that you cannot receive due to an error. On top of that there is a "Karen" in the store who decides to insert herself in the situation because that is what Karen's do. Even after my husband explained that it was no disrespect to her she decided to start staring at him as if it was going to do something other than make us more upset. Then she asks for them to call the sheriff's because all white people are threatened by black people after they have decided to involve themselves in something that had nothing to do with them. I WILL NEVER ORDER A CAKE FROM HERE AGAIN. Antonie could have been more professional but that is what happens when you hire kids. Nora tried to help The situation and I apologize she had to be subjected to us being upset. She called the store owner (Amy) who could have at the very minimum spoke with me and offer an apology. Never again. And be on the look out for Karen. She looks like all the other white women who insert themselves in black people's business! read more

I grew up going to the Baskin Robbin's in Burbank on San Fernando Rd, with my mom, sisters & friends! =) But ever sense I have moved to Lancaster, I had never once gone into the Baskin Robins in Lancaster until two weeks ago (July 2011)! It was the first time going there in such along time.. I taste tested the peanut butter chocolate! It was yummy, but I ended up getting the Chocolate Fudge ice cream with chocolate sprinkles on the cone, instead. (See photo's) The ice cream cakes looked SO INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!!! Their ice cream cakes start at $9.99, hey thats a really great low price! They look amazing! I am almost 100% sure that I want a BASKIN ROBIN'S ice cream cake for my next Birthday! =) I liked seeing that they also had dairy free & also ice cream with no added sugar, low in fat. Thats really good... =) The only ONE thing that I didn't really like about my visit, was that the girl working there looked pissed off. She didn't smile. She wasn't friendly at all. As usual, it was my boyfriend and I stopping in. Ice cream for breakfast- who can beat that? The girl working the counter noticed my Rammstein shirt and we all made music conversation, I tasted one of the ice creams, and then we placed our orders. The place was clean, employees were super friendly, and the ice cream was delicious. One of my flavors was sugar-free, so it wasn't quite was I was used to, but who can turn down key lime pie ice cream, even if it is a bit tart? Delicious! Prices are comparable to most other ice cream and fro-yo places, and there have a great variety of flavors. The cherries jubilee was every bit as good as I remember it from my childhood. Being my first time ordering anything with this company, I was very disappointed. I had come in to place an order for a birthday cake and it was actually the manager/owner who took my order. The next day I had called to add something to the order and the girl had no idea where to find it. When she finally "found" the order she told me it had been canceled already! I had never called to cancel anything and she told me I had to order it again, and not once offering to get a hold of the manager/owner to see what was going on. She straight up acted like she didn't care. If the management/associates are careless enough to not make up for their mistakes, why even have a business?
