We ordered a cake for my baby shower,we wanted a vanilla cake with with cream filling and fresh strawberries. There was hardly any strawberries in the filling that was a little disappointing. The customer service also left a lot to be desired,the shop owner made no eye contact when we went in to discuss the cake order and would only speak through her employee I understand she's busy running a business but it doesn't really make you feel very welcomed. Came to the Bakery looking for a custom cake for my twins Bday. So I mention I was looking for a custom cake cause I have twins and of course one wants an easy I can go to Costco and be done ya No. one wants a rainbow cake an rainbow cake y'all where am I going to get an rainbow cake this was 3 weeks ago. I must have called everyone in the Av area for rainbow cake and only Two bakery's in the whole Av area was able to accommodate what I was looking for. Both shops are located in Quartz Hill thank god I live in Quartz hill so I was glad to find a place close to me and they knocked it out of the park. I bought a chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse and a rainbow cake with frosting all over and sprinkles. My daughter was very happy to have her cake and my son well he loves chocolate in all forms so he would've been happy with the Costco cake, but I was happy to buy a cake from one stop they are awesome. I love the fact that they were so easy to place the order with it was very pleasant which I thought was gonna be a headache, but they made it very pleasing. It cost about 140 bucks for both cakes. It was well worth it thank you one stop bakery. The cakes tasted delicious. Everyone enjoyed the flavors next time I'm gonna have to tell them not to put any whipped cream in defrosting or in the middle but other than that, everything was perfect I would go back to them. I had a really disappointing experience with the cashier in the front. I don't know her name, but she's a young girl who looks Asian. When I placed my order, she gave me attitude and acted like I was bothering her, yet she was warm, friendly, and polite with the men who ordered right before and after me. I called into one stop a week ago looking for a bakery to do my wedding cake. I was told that they do cupcakes for wedding cake tasting and that they would cost $19, cool. I've gotten 3,4 birthday cakes from here and I really enjoyed the cakes along with great customer service. I went in today at 10am with my mother. I forgot who's name I gave over the phone and there was a mix up about it, but I quickly remembered and told them the correct name, my fault. When I told them I gave them the wrong name, she seemed more irritated about that than a person should have been. It was no big deal but she scaled me. I continued to show the young lady up front a picture of the cake I desired and she took it to the back to show the other bakers. The other baker started loudly going off about how "she's never seen a cake like that", "I can't do something like that", "I can make it look SOMETHING like that, but not exactly that". She had a BAD attitude. The cake seemed simple enough to me, I wasn't trying to insult her by bringing in a reference picture that would be impossible to recreate. As the young woman from the front returned with my phone, rolling her eyes, being very short and irritable, she said nothing much other than, "yeah we could probably do something but not that. My wedding is big deal to me. I don't want "something". I guess it wasn't a big deal to them I walked out of there. Good cakes but won't be going back. read more
