My husband comes here frequently. They are the best donut shop around.They have the best apple fritters! No old fryer oil taste that is prevalent at so many other shops. These people are so nice and kind. My husband comes in and they always give him donut holes for our grandsons. They are a local shop with great donuts and great customer service. read more

Hidden gem on the Westside. This is technically my middle daughter's review. But she is 10, so I have to post it. I'll also translate. "They have like theeeeeeeee best choky bars ever." (Technically, I think called Long Johns in the business, I always just called them the chocolaty bois, but she is more refined than me) Everything is made fresh on site every day, so get there early. Staff is wonderful, never a bad interaction. Smaller spot with a few tables, but I never met anyone there that wasn't nice. Expect a lot of construction workers and "blue collar" workers, plus a bunch of hospital/nurse/EMT and cops/sheriff. Like I said, it's the spot. Very much a grab a coffee and a dozen and move on. But never once had a bad donut from there. read more

This morning I didn't need one but I wanted a donut, in fact I was out on a walk when the craving hit me. I was in Quart Hill walking on north on 50th when I noticed J & J Donuts how convenient . I crossed the street and entered, the couple behind the counter both greeted me there was one customer finishing up his morning snack who also nodded and smiled. The shop a had a sweet warm glow of fresh sweets, the display case was full of all the favorites. It took me a while but I finally decided on a golden old fashion the second one from the front was the one. The patient lady helping me smiled when I pointed out my choice, I also added a hot coffee, it's the perfect combination when paired with a old fashion donut. I found a nice table with a view of the 50fh and throughly enjoyed my morning snack. If your in Quartz hill and you get that craving like I did, stop by J&J donuts You won't be disappointed read more

I held off on posting my review, but this is not a good company, my child slipped and fell at this establishment in 10/2023, due to their floor being wet. The caution wet sign was on the carpet which is located near front door, but was no where near where my child slipped and fell. The male and female worker had their child with them while working, which would make you think they would be concerned when my child slipped and fell, they weren't they basically tried to blame us for not seeing the wet sign that was no near the actual wet spot. How were we supposed to know the floor was wet? i didnt know until my child slipped and fell. After I checked on my child who was in alot of pain during and days after the incident, I ensured to take a picture of how the set up was that way I had proof that the wet sign was not near the actual wet spot. The male worker was quick to move the sign to the spot where the floor was wet, but I informed him I already took a picture because they are in the wrong. It was a hassle to get in contact with the owner, once he finally got back to me I was informed he would look at the video footage of the incident and get back to me. it is now 1/2024, i have yet to hear anything back. The only way to get a company like this attention is to take the legal route. I was trying to be nice to not take the legal route, but I surely see now the owner didn't care about my child slipping and falling at his establishment. i stay away from this place, the poor customer service and no follow through from the owner is a shame and not a place I want to give my money to. read more

Forget the donuts, it's the ham and cheese croissant that keeps me coming back. The service is great even when they're busy. When you think about supporting a small business this is the way to go. The couple work hard and run a good business. I'm glad they're right down the street and want to keep them around. Next time you're needing a snack for your crew or some donuts for a work thing, splurge and get an extra dozen so people can have seconds. read more

We absolutely love this place and probably won't go anywhere else...EVER. When you pull up and there's a large circle of older gentleman sitting outside enjoying breakfast, it's got to be good! The Ham and cheese croissant is delicious, flaky, full of nice big pieces of ham and oozing with cheese. Hands down the best ham and cheese croissant nearby. Donuts are always great too! They are fresh and usually sell out on weekends. We have pretty much tried them all. Haven't had one that wasn't good. Today we got the fresh squeezed OJ. AMAZING. This is by far the BEST place to go if you want a donut that will met in your mouth, taste absolutely amazing and not cost you way more than what it's worth. I actually stumbled across J&J's to avoid running late and I'm so grateful. The gentleman that is always there is the epitome of hospitable. Yes, I know, it's a business but there is a special feel to the place that speaks to more than just the customer side of me. I always feel like I've received a gift when I leave the shop and I always feel like I'm welcome to take my time or just pop in, grab a delicious treat and run. Great customer service doesn't do justice to what you get when you come here. I don't know why the donuts are so delicious but they are incredible. I mean, when your glaze donut gives you more than just... a glaze donut, you've won. Their chocolate cake donuts are NEVER dry or dense. The crumb donut is the perfect mix of melt in my mouth and SURPRISE here's a little texture for fun, and the classic old fashioned is just done right. I'm literally shocked at how inexpensive it is. I almost feel like guilty paying so little for such quality. Do yourself a favor, buy your donuts here. Especially if you want brownie points with the fam, coworkers or random collection of people chillin at the park. read more

The best donut shop in the AV, nice quiet spot out here in Quartz Hill. The little shop is always clean and they are always polite and pleasant to serve you. There donut holes are amazing, so light,fluffy, and buttery they melt in your mouth. The problem is they are so addictive that you better limit yourself cause they will make that scale hurt your feelings they are so good lol. We stop by here due to our normal doughnut place being closed. Place is small an out dated. The doughnuts were actually very delicious! I got a hot cappuccino and to be honest I really didn't care for it. My daughter really loved her pink doughnut. He got a glaze and the guy went to the back to get him a fresh doughnut. He really loved his glazed doughnut. I got a blueberry doughnut. It was very good. My daughter was asking to go back again. Overall I give this place 5 stars because we were here for the doughnuts. My first time here, and I am hooked! They were out of apple fritters, so I tried the crunch cinnamon bun, which was absolutely heavenly! Nice and warm, pillowy soft, and scrumptious! Best donut or doughnut in all of Antelope Valley. yep I said in all of the A.V. they have a baked cinnamon roll that is outta this world good now you have to get there early for that one cause they go fast they have an fall doughnut or donut which one do you spell it I spell it trouble i wish i lived in Washington state cause I'm going to have to move outta quartz hill cause they are so fricken good anyway an fall donut that is very good.
